Abstract

Tampilan visual getaran tanah atau bangunan dapat dilihat secara langsung dengan perangkat mikrotremor. Perangkat mikrotremor terdiri dari perangkat lunak DATAQ, data logger dan seismometer yang dapat menampilkan bentuk sinyal secara langsung. Sistem seperti ini banyak digunakan dalam memonitor kejadian bencana. Pada bidang kebencanaan longsor akibat gempabumi, analisis kerentanan dilakukan setelah melakukan pengukuran melalui proses pengolahan data dengan perangkat lunak Geopsy. Beberapa fitur dalam Geopsy seperti H/V, SPAC, dan Damping digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran kuantitatif, sementara Particle Motion memberikan tampilan visual arah gerak partikel. Rentang frekuensi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah1 – 15 Hz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan arah gerak partikel di area barat lereng didominasi oleh arah barat laut-tenggara (NW-SE) sementara di timur lereng didominasi oleh pergerakan partikel ke segala arah. Pola pergerakan partikel di selatan lereng adalah barat laut-tenggara (NW-SE), timur laut-barat daya (NE-SW), dan timur-barat (E-W), sedangkan pergerakan partikel dalam arah vertikal didominasi oleh arah gerak kuadaran II-kuadran IV Kata Kunci: particle motion, mikrotremor, lereng, frekuensi

Abstract

Tritis is a hamlet in Kulon Progo Regency, located in an area with steep slope topography making it vulnerable to landslides. Ground movement vulnerability due to earthquakes is controlled by several factors, one of which is the seismic vulnerability index whose value can be obtained through microtremor measurements by H/V analysis. In addition, the dynamic trigger factor for landslides is the slope. The slope of the surface is not always the same as the slope of the slip surface because it is observed from the surface, while the slip surface is under the soil layer and requires measurements using the geophysical method to determine the surfacemodel. For this reason, an analysis is needed to compare the landslide vulnerability between these two factors, the slope of the surface and the slope of the slip surface. From the measurement results, there is a significant difference between the slope and the slope of the slip surface at the same site in the north of the slope by 15.17 with a seismic vulnerability index (kg) of 2.5. The distribution of seismic vulnerability index in all slopes ranges from 0.075 to 7.33, dominated by areas with slopes > 18. High landslide vulnerability is in the southern and northern areas.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) started from April to May 2021. The distribution of locations for the implementation of KKN 79 includes Kulon Progo Regency and Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. In its implementation, KKN 79 Unit N Group 69 is located in Katongan Village, Nglipar District, Gunungkidul Regency. Broadly speaking, Katongan Village has the main potential in the field of aloe vera processing. Based on observations, this village already has a business in processed aloe vera products, such as beverage products from aloe vera and chips from aloe vera. However, this activity has constraints on the marketing of the resulting product so it requires a marketing strategy. The purpose of implementing the Group 69 Community Service Program is to provide information on how to market the aloe vera product so that it can compete with other products. The compilation of KKN outcomes is carried out by collecting (secondary) data, presenting qualitative reports that are descriptive-analysis and method of documentation. The result of the dedication of KKN 79 Unit N Group 69 are processed products of aloe vera that can be marketed from inside and outside the village with various form of effective marketing strategies in helping the people of Katongan Village.

Abstract

Sejak pandemi COVID-19 masuk ke Indonesia, banyak dampak yang terjadi terutama pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) mulai diadaptasi. Namun, metode ini tidak sepenuhnya berjalan maksimal bagi anak-anak yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengakses materi secara online sehingga anak-anak membutuhkan pihak ke-tiga untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikannya. RAPI merupakan lembaga yang menyediakan pelayanan pendidikan gratis bagi anak-anak yang membutuhkan. Kehadiran RAPI di tengah masyarakat dapat membantu tugas orang tua yang harus mendampingi pembelajaran anak selama di rumah. Para pengajar ataupun tutor yang bergabung ke dalam RAPI bersifat sukarela, sehingga memiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang berbeda. Latar belakang pendidikan serta pengalaman mengajar yang bervariasi menyebabkan RAPI memerlukan penyegaran kembali tentang teknik mengajar. Modul pembelajaran juga menjadi kebutuhan para tenaga pengajar RAPI sebagai pedoman dalam mengajar tetapi hal ini juga belum dimiliki. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi teknik pengajaran serta pembuatan modul kepada tenaga pengajar di RAPI demi mendukung pembangunan bangsa dalam bidang akademik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan para tenaga pengajar yang mendapatkan materi dan mengikuti brainstorming dengan tim, mulai menemukan insight tentang langkah-langkah yang perlu dipersiapkan untuk membenahi sistem yang ada saat ini. Tenaga pengajar mendapatkan gambaran tentang mengsiasati permasalahan mengajar di lapangan yakni pos-pos pengajaran yang ada. Selain itu, tenaga pengajar menjadi paham cara memulai untuk membuat modul ajar sebagai pendamping bagi tutor dan siswa.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and other disruptions require students and workers to be adaptive to global needs. Students, in particular, must be prepared to develop themselves to remain relevant and become human resources that compete in the increasingly technologically advanced world of work and industry. These self-development efforts cannot be separated from recognizing an individual's personality, character, and temperament (PKT) to discover their interests and talents. Currently, one of the assessment tools for PKT that experts in the field have developed is Karaktera. This community service is carried out at SMA Immanuel Kalasan, which has students with various backgrounds and currently needs help understanding the character of each student better. Using Karaktera, the service team carries out a PKT assessment by starting and ending with material relevant to technological disruption and developing interests and talents. As a result, the school and students felt very helpful in recognizing individual character and being aware of self-development to become quality human resources.

Abstract

The furniture industry is continuously innovating to produce the best products, with buyers' preferences related to function, quality, and design. Companies need to optimize machine cycle times and reformulate production time durations to increase productivity s. Lead time needs to be optimized to anticipate order fulfillment until the transaction is completed on time. Standard time is critical to setting production targets, budgets, product cost estimates, machine requirements, and determining standard operator wages in measuring productivity efficiency. Companies in the garden furniture sector need to calculate standard time in their production processes, particularly in the RST (Raw Saw Tinder) processing stage, to achieve timely production targets and avoid potential losses. Productivity analysis in the production area of the RST processing stage is carried out by calculating the standard time of the bandsaw and cross-cut or radial arm saw machines. The research is conducted through the motion study measurement, uniformity and sufficiency testing of data, and normal and standard time calculations to determine the required duration for each production stage. The time study measurement results and standard time calculations for the 18 work elements show that the standard time in the RST processing stage is 4.92 minutes or equivalent to 12 units/hour, which means the company can ideally produce 88 units of products per day.

Abstract

Internal quality assurance (IQA) in higher education institutions (HEIs) is believed to be the spearhead for accelerating the improvement of the quality of HEIs and the study programs within it. However, currently many HEIs are trapped in the formal implementation of IQA and does not reach its essence, so it does not have a real impact on the quality of the HEIs. Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta is one of the partners of the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology to devote itself by providing training and sharing good practices in implementing IQA to six HEIs with 31 study programs in 2024. This training aims to provide experience and insights for participants to become drivers of accelerating the implementation of IQA in their respective HEIs and study programs. The training was carried out in two stages in September and October 2024, each for two days, with materials covering IQA system development, IQA organization, IQA documents, and internal quality audits. This training went smoothly and effectively, as evidenced by the increase in participants' comprehension as measured by a pre-test and a post-test. After six months had passed, the indirect impact of this training was also seen in the accreditation of two participating HEIs that had unaccredited status during the training.

Abstract

Integrasi panel surya dengan jaringan PLN menjadi salah satu solusi menjanjikan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan energi fosil dan biaya listrik. Namun, penentuan kapasitas panel surya optimal yang mempertimbangkan degradasi efisiensi dan biaya investasi masih menjadi tantangan terutama bagi konsumen rumah tangga yang memiliki luas area terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung kapasitas panel surya optimal yang meminimasi total biaya selama 20 tahun. Metodologi penelitian ini meliputi penentuan parameter sebagai data awal, pemodelan matematika, simulasi untuk optimasi serta analisis sensitivitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model optimasi non-linear dengan variabel kapasitas panel surya (S), degradasi efisiensi tahunan (0,5%), dan biaya energi PLN (Rp1700/kWh). Analisis dilakukan melalui simulasi numerik untuk berbagai kapasitas S. Pada studi kasus dengan kebutuhan energi 5000 kWh/tahun, kapasitas optimal adalah 4 KWp (26,7 m²), menghasilkan total biaya Rp 48.000.000,- selama 20 tahun (penghematan 71,8% dibandingkan tanpa panel surya). Model ini memberikan kerangka kuantitatif untuk memilih ukuran sistem hybrid yang optimal, dengan sensitivitas terhadap harga panel surya dan degradasi efisiensi. Abstract[Optimization of the Solar Panel-PLN Hybrid System to Minimize Long-Term Electricity Costs: A 20-Year Case Study] Integration of solar panels with the PLN network is a promising solution to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and electricity costs. However, determining the optimal solar panel capacity that accounts for efficiency degradation and investment costs remains a challenge, especially for household consumers with limited land area. This study aims to calculate the optimal solar panel capacity that minimizes the total cost over a 20-year period. The research methodology includes determining parameters as initial data, mathematical modeling, simulation for optimization, and sensitivity analysis. The method used is a non-linear optimization model with variables such as solar panel capacity (S), annual efficiency degradation (0.5%), and PLN energy costs (IDR 1700/kWh). Numerical simulations were conducted for various solar panel capacities (S). In a case study with an energy requirement of 5000 kWh/year, the optimal capacity was found to be 4 KWp (26.7 m²), resulting in a total cost of IDR 48 million over 20 years, which represents a 71.8% savings compared to not using solar panels. This model provides a quantitative framework for selecting the optimal hybrid system size, with sensitivity to solar panel prices and efficiency degradation.Keywords: solar panel; renewable energy; optimization; hybrid

Abstract

Salah satu produk yang saat ini memiliki banyak peminat adalah sepatu kets atau sneakers lokal. Produk ini merupakan produk yang sangat diminati oleh generasi muda Indonesia. Dengan semakin banyaknya peminat hal ini diikuti juga dengan pertumbuhan produsen yang menawarkan produk buatannya. Fenomena ini menyebabkan persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam industri ini. salah satu faktor yang dapat menjadi pembeda antara satu produsen dengan produsen lainnya adalah buzz atau hype. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi variabel penting bagi konsumen sepatu kets lokal dalam membicarakan dan membeli produk-produk ini. Data dari 210 generasi muda indonesia dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Friedman’s Two-Way ANOVA. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa kualitas merupakan variabel yang paling penting bagi generasi muda Indonesia dengan nilai peringkat paling tinggi yaitu 3,18, diikuti dengan harga dengan nilai peringkat 3,51, desain yang estetik dengan nilai peringkat 3,57, merek dengan nilai peringkat 3,61, fungsi dengan nilai peringkat 4, kelangkaan dengan nilai peringkat 5,84, digital presence dengan nilai peringkat 6,09 dan endorsement atau kolaborasi dengan nilai peringkat 6,21. Dengan memahami faktor-faktor ini para produsen sepatu lokal indonesia dapat memfokuskan sumber daya yang mereka miliki untuk menciptakan buzz untuk produk-produk yang mereka produksi dan pasarkan.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology must be introduced to prevent its misuse by humans. This training aims to increase interest and awareness of the impact and role of AI in daily life by providing a foundational understanding, fostering critical thinking in the use of AI-based technology. The training was conducted orally and practically through the delivery of simple material over three sessions for childrens aged 7-15 years with evaluations in the form of pre-test and post-test to measure understanding levels of artificial intelligence technology. The results showed a significant increase of 66,63% between pre-test and post-test scores, demonstrating that this training successfully enhanced the basic knowledge of children in Padukuhan Ngepoh regarding the interest and impact of artificial intelligence.
