Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada Badan Pengurus Cabang Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Bantul (BPC HIPMI Bantul) dalam mengembangkan artefak kartu yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pemetaan model bisnis melalui business model canvas (BMC). Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi BPC HIPMI Bantul adalah kurangnya literasi bisnis yang membuat proses pemetaan dengan BMC maupun upaya untuk berinovasi menjadi kurang maksimal. Dengan menggunakan metode design science research methodology, artefak kartu dikembangkan, didemonstrasikan dan dievaluasi manfaatnya melalui dua workshop BMC. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang didapatkan workshop, artefak kartu yang dikembangkan melalui PkM ini memiliki peran positif dalam membantu proses pemetaan model bisnis BMC menjadi lebih terarah, mudah, dan menarik. Artefak kartu juga diyakini dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan pada saat yang sama, juga mampu meningkatkan literasi bisnis peserta. Pengembangan artefak kartu menjadi kontribusi utama yang menjadikan kegiatan PkM ini berbeda dibandingkan dengan program-program PkM sebelumnya di bidang pemetaan model bisnis yang hanya berfokus pada pelatihan ataupun implementasi BMC.

Abstract

The expectations of today's young generation about the place where they work are certainly important to consider. To support this process, the interest of the workforce in applying for a job in the company is very important. Currently, companies are competing with each other to get the best prospective employees, the majority of whom are millennials. This study examines the perceptions of employer attractiveness and work expectations on the interest of students in applying for a job in management study program class of 2021. Employer attractiveness and work expectations are examined for their influence on interest in applying for a job. In this study, questionnaires were distributed online to collect data from respondents. The data collected was processed using the multiple linear regression analysis method, which was carried out using the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results of this study indicate that perceptions of employer attractiveness and work expectations affect interest in applying for work positively.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee happiness at work. Adopting a quantitative research approach, data were collected through a structured survey involving 53 employees of PT. Global Intermedia Nusantara (Provider of consulting services, analysis, design and implementation of information systems in the company). The Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis model was applied to explore the interrelationships among the variables. The findings indicate that job satisfaction plays a pivotal role in enhancing happiness at work, with employees reporting greater contentment when their job expectations and needs are met. Additionally, organizational commitment emerges as a critical factor, demonstrating a strong positive impact on workplace happiness. This suggests that employees who feel emotionally attached to their organization and aligned with its goals tend to experience higher levels of happiness. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on happiness at work. Organizational commitment is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee happiness at work. These results underline the need for organizations to prioritize strategies that cultivate job satisfaction and reinforce organizational commitment.

Abstract

This community engagement aimed to enhance service quality among culinary entrepreneurs at Ganjuran Food Court (GFC) through training and mentoring grounded in service excellence. The program consisted of six sessions: introduction to quality service, SERVQUAL dimensions, ten core service principles, customer journey mapping, service improvement strategies, and complaint handling role-plays. Delivered in a participatory and contextual format, the training was followed by field mentoring. Results showed that participants began applying more responsive and customer-oriented practices. Innovations such as QR-based ordering and service flow banners emerged as part of ongoing improvements. This initiative laid the foundation for a service-minded culture and future development through branding, digital marketing, and product diversification.

Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dan komunitas wirausaha di Bantul dalam menghasilkan foto produk yang menarik dan profesional melalui pelatihan fotografi berbasis kamera handphone dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari pelaku UMKM Ganjuran Food Court serta anggota komunitas HIPMI Bantul dan Maswira. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi teoritis, praktik langsung fotografi produk, dan pelatihan penggunaan ChatGPT untuk menghasilkan serta menyunting foto berbasis AI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam pengaturan pencahayaan, komposisi visual, serta pemahaman terhadap potensi AI sebagai alat bantu kreatif dalam promosi digital. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap literasi digital peserta dan mendorong kemampuan mereka untuk mengelola branding produk secara mandiri dan inovatif.

Abstract

Collaborative culture is increasingly regarded as a strategic necessity in modern organizations, particularly as the successful creation of customer value requires strong cross-functional integration. This study aims to explore how collaborative culture is constructed, practiced, and interpreted by employees across three core functions: Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Accounting Systems to enhance sustainable customer value. Using a qualitative approach based on literature meta-synthesis and thematic analysis of recent international studies, this article presents an integrative framework to provide a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional interaction dynamics. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of collaboration is influenced by the alignment of strategic goals, the clarity of communication mechanisms, and the degree of data transparency facilitated by accounting systems. Moreover, the HR function plays a central role in fostering trust, shaping collaborative work norms, and encouraging more adaptive cross-divisional practices. These findings offer practical implications for organizations seeking to strengthen interdepartmental integration as the foundation for generating superior customer value. The study also emphasizes that collaborative culture does not emerge instantly; rather, it evolves through reflective processes, social learning, behavioral consistency, and leadership commitment in facilitating cross-functional synergy. Thus, effective collaboration requires continuous interaction between organizational structures, information technology, and human capabilities to create value that is responsive to customer needs.
