Abstract

Learning evaluation has an important role in providing professional decisions, and is a competency that an educator must have. The success of the learning process really depends on the role of a teacher. The interaction between teachers and students is a determining factor in the success of learning, and this process will be effective if it is able to actively involve all students. The importance of evaluation in the learning process lies in its function as a source of valid data about students' abilities. This data will be the basis for teachers in making decisions regarding learning. Apart from that, evaluation also helps educators to improve their quality and classroom management. Therefore, evaluation must be carried out appropriately and thoroughly during the teaching and learning process. Evaluation is not only carried out at the end of the lesson, but should be carried out throughout the learning process. By carrying out appropriate and comprehensive evaluations, educators can obtain accurate information about students' abilities, so they can make the right decisions in learning. Increasing understanding and implementing a good evaluation process will contribute to improving the quality of learning at Madrasah Aliyah Islahiyah Binjai.

Abstract

This research was carried out by means of field research, namely collecting quantitative data. This research uses secondary data obtained from distributing questionnaires, with a sample size of 30 students. This research aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal intelligence and Aqidah Moral Learning Outcomes at MIS Miftahul Hasanah.  The learning outcomes of Class V students at MIS Miftahul Hasanah in the subject of moral beliefs are in the low category where after being classified, 26% got a score of 93-100, 43% of students got a score of 84-92, while 31% of students got a score of 75-83. The learning outcomes of Class V students in the subject of moral beliefs after using the interpersonal intelligence approach are included in the very category where after being classified 50% got a score of 93-100, 30% of students got a score of 84-92 , while 20% of students got a score of 75-83 . The relationship between interpersonal intelligence is related to the learning outcomes of class V moral beliefs at MIS Miftahul Hasanah. Based on the value of t_(count)(15,736) > t_table (1.69236). This is also supported by the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 92.9%, which shows that the independent variable interpersonal intelligence is able to explain 92.9% of changes in the dependent variable, namely learning outcomes of moral beliefs. Meanwhile, the remaining 7.1% is explained by variations or other factors not included in this research model. Based on the research results that have been described statistically, it can be seen that interpersonal intelligence is simultaneously positively related to the learning outcomes of class V moral beliefs at MIS Miftahul Hasanah

Abstract

Various methods and media can be used in learning activities, including memorizing the Koran. This research will focus on improving the tasmi method based on audio-visual media which is utilized in memorizing the Al-Quran. One of the media used is audio visual media. It is believed that the use of media in learning has a very good impact, but in memorizing the Koran it is still rarely used. For this reason, the audio-visual based Tasmi’ method is here to increase students' understanding so that it is easier to memorize the Qur'an. Students perform memorization according to the procedures that have been established during the tasmi' program. The aim of the Tasmi' program is to improve the quality of students' memorization and increase students' self-confidence so they can appear in public. Meanwhile, the supporting factors are students' interests and desires, support and motivation from teachers, support from parents, giving rewards or prizes and encouragement from peers and the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of ‘aqīqah in the multicultural community of Binjai City from the perspective of hadith, as well as to develop contextual hadith-based educational guides. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of ethnography. The main data in the form of the practice of implementing ‘aqīqah is reviewed from the hadith. The data sources include religious leaders, educational leaders, and the community implementing ‘aqīqah who were selected purposively in five sub-districts of Binjai City. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation of ‘aqīqah activities, semi-structured interviews to explore the understanding of hadith, and documentation in the form of event archives, photos, and lecture scripts. Data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction to sort out relevant information, presentation of data in the form of thematic narratives, and inductive conclusion drawing to see the relationship between the understanding of hadith and the socio-religious practices of the community. The results of the study show that although the community understands ‘aqīqah as part of the teachings of the Prophet PBUH, the practice is greatly influenced by local culture and economic factors. Many processions are adapted, even mixed with non-sharia traditions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of adaptive hadith-based education and the preparation of guidelines for the implementation of ‘aqīqah in accordance with the context of modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the systematic steps in test planning to enhance the quality of educational evaluation. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach, integrating relevant theories and practices related to test planning. The findings indicate that effective test planning should involve determining the test's objectives, competency analysis, format selection, item writing, piloting, validation, and test analysis. The implementation of these steps ensures that the test meets the criteria of validity, reliability, objectivity, and practicality. This article provides significant contributions for educators in designing effective and efficient tests and offers new insights for further research in the field of educational evaluation.

Abstract

Educational evaluation is a crucial element in the learning process that aims to assess the effectiveness and quality of education. In this context, evaluation is not only a measurement of learning outcomes, but also includes a comprehensive analysis of various aspects that affect the educational process. Evaluation can be defined as a systematic process to determine the value of an activity or object based on certain criteria. The evaluation process includes several important stages, including evaluation planning, data collection, data analysis, and report preparation. Evaluation also serves as a tool to identify strengths and weaknesses in the learning process, as well as contributing to the development of curriculum and educational policies. Although evaluation is important, there are still many challenges faced, such as lack of resources and stakeholder resistance. Therefore, strategic solutions are needed to improve the effectiveness of educational evaluation.

Abstract

Test reliability is a fundamental aspect in educational evaluation, reflecting the extent to which a test produces consistent results under various conditions. This study aims to analyze the reliability of the developed test, with a quantitative approach using statistical analysis such as Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, inter-rater reliability, and temporal stability test. Content validity is also a major concern in the preparation of the test to ensure suitability with the measurement objectives. Empirical data were collected through a trial on a group of respondents, then analyzed to measure internal consistency and stability of the results. The results showed that the developed test had high reliability, with a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient exceeding 0.70, as well as good consistency between raters. However, several aspects such as item construction and distribution of difficulty levels need to be improved. This study recommends further testing with a wider population and integration of technology in the evaluation to improve measurement accuracy. These findings emphasize the importance of developing valid and reliable evaluation instruments to improve the quality of educational assessment.

Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membaca Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi Al-Qur’an peserta didik di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membaca Al-Qur’an yang dilakukan secara baik dan benar sesuai kaidah tajwid serta untuk menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kemampuan siswa. Metode pada penelitian ini ialah menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), Kajian literatur dilaksanakan dengan tahapan 1) Klasifikasi dan Penentuan pendekatan, 2) Pencarian artikel, 3) Penyeleksian artikel, 4) Analisis dan interpretasi data, 5) Draf artikel, dan 6)Diseminasi hasil. Pada tahap awal ditentukan fokus kajian pada tema Ekstrakurikuler Membaca Al-Qur’an. Hasil pencarian artikel pada berbagai laman (google scholar, sinta, rumah jurnal dan sumber lain) diperoleh 10 artikel yang selanjutnya diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria 5 tahun terakhir dan indexing artikel. Hasil screening dan seleksi diperoleh 7 artikel yang menjadi bahan kajian literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara rutin dengan bimbingan guru yang kompeten di bidang Al-Qur’an. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengenalan huruf hijaiyah, makharijul huruf, serta penerapan hukum bacaan tajwid. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan waktu, motivasi siswa yang bervariasi, serta kurangnya media pendukung pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah sarana dalam rangka untuk menumbuhkembangkan kemampuan individu supaya nantinya bisa menjadi individu yang mempunyai iman, taqwa, perilakukreatif dan mandiri. Pengembangan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler penting untuk dilakukan, karena kegiatan intrakurikuler di rasa masih kurang dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Sejauh mana Pengembangan Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pendidikan Agama Islam terlaksana. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan tahapan penentuan tema, pencarian, penyeleksian literatur, analisis dan interpretasi, penyusunan draf, dan diseminasi hasil. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan 8 artikel dari seleksi 13 kajian pada tiga hal yaitu kondisi dan pelaksanaan, tantangan, dan strategi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PAI mencakup pengajian, shalat berjamaah, kegiatan sosial, dan kompetisi keagamaan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, minat siswa yang rendah, dan kurangnya dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan masyarakat menghambat efektivitas program. Untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, diperlukan strategi seperti pengembangan kurikulum yang relevan, peningkatan kualitas pembina, serta kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan masyarakat.
