Abstract

Learning is a vital part of human life. Learning (especially Islam), with its various styles, is oriented towards providing provisions to humans (students) to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. One of the processes that deliver this is integrated Islamic learning based on the morals of SMAIT students. It will provide provisions for moral learning in the four scopes of the environment: family, school, community, and social media. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. It uses Piaget's constructivism theory with the assimilation and accommodation method as the grand theory and the Al-Ghazali method as the supporting theory. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. In this research, researchers involved figures in learning institutions such as leaders of boarding schools or institutions, teachers, guardians of students (student guardians), and students. The results of this study indicate that the application of different methods in the implementation strategy has an impact on increasing greetings, discipline, ethics in social interaction, and social media among fellow students, parents, teachers, and the community who are part of the social context. This impact is well implemented at the four environmental levels of the study.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah memiliki peran krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, termasuk dalam aspek disiplin siswa. Madrasah Aliyah Darul Muhajirin Praya sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam berupaya mengembangkan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang efektif guna mencapai tujuan akademik dan non-akademik. Namun, tantangan dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa masih menjadi perhatian utama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Muhajirin Praya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan data collection, condensation data, display data, dan conclusion data. Untuk memastikan validitas data, digunakan teknik perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan kepala madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Muhajirin Praya meliputi beberapa aspek utama, yaitu sebagai pendidik, manajer, dan pemimpin. Dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa, kepala madrasah bertindak sebagai pemimpin yang menggerakkan, mengarahkan, membimbing, melindungi, membina, memberikan teladan, dorongan, serta bantuan kepada seluruh elemen madrasah. Kepala madrasah juga berperan dengan mengikutsertakan tenaga kependidikan dalam pelatihan, workshop, atau diklat serta melakukan pengawasan secara berkelanjutan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas sekolah. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang efektif berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah.

Abstract

Quality management in Islamic education is a systematic effort to ensure and improve the quality of educational processes and outcomes based on Islamic values. This study aims to identify and analyze the internal and external factors that influence the success of quality management in Islamic educational institutions. Internal factors include the leadership of the headmaster, teacher competence, Islamic value–based curriculum, infrastructure, and Islamic organizational culture. Meanwhile, external factors consist of government policies, the role of society and parents, technological developments, and social and economic dynamics. The research method employed is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach based on various relevant sources, including theories of educational quality management and the context of Islamic education. The results indicate that synergy between internal and external factors greatly determines the sustainability and effectiveness of quality management implementation in Islamic educational institutions. Therefore, strengthening internal institutional capacity and establishing strategic collaboration with external stakeholders are key to creating superior, relevant, and competitive Islamic education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine systematic and objective techniques for preparing quality analysis reports in Islamic education, aligned with established educational evaluation standards. In the effort to enhance the quality of Islamic educational institutions, a quality analysis report serves as a crucial foundation for decision-making, strategic planning, and continuous improvement. The research employs a literature review, observation of reporting practices in Islamic educational institutions, and analysis of educational quality documents. The findings indicate that preparing a quality analysis report for Islamic education requires attention to three key aspects: (1) formulation of quality indicators based on Islamic principles and national education standards; (2) valid, reliable, and measurable data collection and processing; and (3) presentation of analytical results in a communicative and actionable format. Moreover, the involvement of stakeholders—including teachers, administrators, and the community—is essential to ensure the objectivity of the report. The study concludes that implementing proper reporting techniques significantly strengthens internal quality assurance systems and enhances the accountability of Islamic educational institutions in delivering quality education services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO quality management models in educational management. The main focus is on how TQM and ISO principles can be integrated to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of educational services in formal educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through document analysis, interviews, and observations of quality management practices in selected schools and universities. The findings indicate that the application of TQM and ISO significantly contributes to improving quality culture, teacher professionalism, and student satisfaction. However, the success of implementation largely depends on leadership commitment, stakeholder involvement, and the sustainability of evaluation and quality improvement programs. The study concludes that the synergy between TQM and ISO provides an effective strategy for developing a standardized, adaptive, and continuously improving educational management system.

Abstract

Quality management is a crucial component of modern organizational practice that emphasizes continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. In the Western perspective, quality management theory has evolved through rational and empirical approaches focused on measurable outcomes and process optimization. Scholars such as W. Edwards Deming, Joseph Juran, and Philip Crosby established foundational principles of quality management, including process control, continuous improvement, and employee involvement across all organizational levels.In contrast, the Islamic perspective on quality management extends beyond efficiency and technical quality, integrating spiritual and ethical dimensions derived from the Qur’an and Hadith. Core values such as ihsan (excellence in work), amanah (trustworthiness), and maslahah (public benefit) form the basis for a value-oriented and justice-driven quality system. This study aims to compare Western and Islamic theories of quality management by examining their philosophical foundations, core principles, and practical applications. The findings indicate that while both frameworks pursue superior quality, the Islamic approach emphasizes harmony between material and spiritual aspects, whereas the Western model predominantly focuses on rational, systematic, and technical dimensions of management.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character and moral values amidst the dynamics of global development. However, challenges such as modernization, human resource quality, and curriculum relevance demand continuous policy and program innovation. This article explores various policy innovations and quality improvement programs in Islamic education implemented by governments, educational institutions, and communities. The approach includes policy analysis, literature review, and empirical examination of field implementation. The findings indicate that the success of Islamic education quality improvement depends on the synergy between adaptive policies, teacher competency enhancement, digital technology utilization, and active community participation. The study recommends the importance of locally based policy reform, digital learning innovation, and continuous evaluation to ensure Islamic education remains relevant, inclusive, and competitive.
