Abstract

Language has a very important role in human life as a means of daily communication, especially in speaking. Speaking is a way for someone to convey their meaning to another person using words, so that they can be understood. This skill is very crucial, especially for children in elementary school. However, many elementary school students still have difficulty speaking or conveying their ideas and opinions. To overcome this, it is necessary to use learning media that can help develop students' speaking skills. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and a type of library research, which collects data from related scientific papers. The results of the literature study show that the use of flash cards as a learning medium can be effective in improving students' speaking skills at the elementary school level. Flash cards contain text, vocabulary, or symbols that help students convey information orally more easily and clearly.

Abstract

Reading is the pronunciation of words and the acquisition of words from printed materials. In the era of education 4.0, students' interest in reading, especially students at the elementary school level, needs to be improved. The era of education 4.0 is a challenge in itself, including for elementary schools in fortifying students from the negative impact of the rapid use of technology, especially in students' daily lives. Based on these conditions, the author is interested in discussing a media called E-bookstory to improve students' reading literacy. This research uses the library research method, which is research whose object of study uses library data in the form of books or journals as its data source. Digital books, also known as e-books, are publications consisting of text, images, video or sound, published in digital form and can be read on a computer or other electronic device. One of the efforts that can be made by educational personnel is to use E-Bookstory media. Interest in reading will arise among children when they find interesting books and contain important knowledge in books, with that children become trained and diligent when reading.

Abstract

Environmental learning strategies include the surrounding environment and students can easily master the material through observation. In this learning strategy students are required to be able to learn to love and be able to apply the learning of the surrounding environment to themselves and without coercion from anyone. The task of the teacher in this case, is to strive for this learning strategy to look fun and not boring for students. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. This research method usually uses data collection techniques consisting of observations, interviews and documentation studies. Through the Environmental Learning strategy, students can understand learning when outside the classroom and are also able to make the enthusiasm of learning students' motivation higher, because students experience a different learning atmosphere than usual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang tepat digunakan dalam mengatasi tantangan literasi Humanis di SD serta bagaimana pembentukan karakter yang positif. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Jenis metode kajian literatur (tinjauan pustaka). penelitian pustaka (riset pustaka) merupakan kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan teknik pengumpulan data pustaka seperti membaca, mencatat, dan mengolah bahan koleksi perpustakaan saja tanpa memerlukan riset lapangan. Adapun hasil penelitian yaitu penerapan literasi humanis tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan akademik, tetapi juga membentuk individu yang lebih bertanggung jawab, toleran, dan peduli terhadap keberagaman di sekitar mereka. Selain itu, Ada beberapa manfaat literasi humanis di SD/MI yaitu; Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran, Pengembangan Karakter dan Empati, Kesiapan Menghadapi Tantangan Global, Menciptakan Lingkungan Pembelajaran yang Positif, Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru terdapat tantangan literasi humanis di sekolah dasar (SD). Kemudian terdapat tantangan dalam penerapan literasi humanis di MI/SD yaitu: Kurangnya minat baca siswa, Kurangnya perhatian orang tua, Kurangnya referensi yang dimiliki guru, Kurangnya motivasi membaca siswa, Siswa kurang mampu berinteraksi dengan teman atau guru, Siswa kurang aktif mengajukan argumen atau ide dalam proses belajar. Kemudian strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi tantangan pada literasi humanis di SD yaitu; Memberikan pelatihan kepada guru, Merancang materi ajar yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang aktif dan partisipatif, Menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang aktif.
