Abstract

Perancangan arsitektur bangunan yang tidak memperhatikan realitas virtual di lingkungan sekelilingnya dapat menyebabkan depresi, stress, kecemasan, dan gangguan produktivitas bagi penghuninya. Hal itu dapat diatasi dengan cara menghadirkan alam yang memiliki manfaat terapeutik, interaktif dan konektif antara manusia dan lingkungan alam dalam desain biofilik.  Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana cara arsitek didalam menganalisis dan membuat sintesis atas kebutuhan ruang hunian bagi kenyamanan psikologis penghuninya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa penerapan desain biofilik pada suatu hunian dapat memberikan ruang restoratif bagi fisik manusia, membersihkan sistem saraf dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Adapun cara menganalisis dan membuat sintesis dalam desain arsitektur biofilik pada tipologi hunian adalah mengurai kebutuhan ruang arsitektur yang seimbang dengan kemampuan lingkungan alam di sekitarnya, dan   memadukan kedua hal tersebut dalam desain hunian, sebagaimana model yang ditemukan.

Abstract

Not every architectural design outcome aligns with the aspirations of both the architect and the client. There are instances where, post-construction and after the buildings have been utilized for a period, they end up deserted, eventually transforming into abandoned structures. Architectural design failure refers to instances where the design of a building, structure, or space is failed, resulting in negative consequences such as safety hazards, functional problems, financial losses, or aesthetic issues. These failures can arise due to various reasons, including inadequate planning, poor design decisions, lack of attention to detail, insufficient consideration of user needs, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances. This study investigates two commercial buildings situated in South Tangerang and Gianyar, Bali. The study's methodology relies on conducting on-site observations using case studies, gathering primary data, and subsequently analyzing the observations' outcomes. Additionally, the study will draw upon the theoretical frameworks of various scholars to substantiate the findings and derive conclusive insights.

Abstract

Jln. H.juanda is a transit point for users of rail transportation services at Bekasi station with high mobility. Activities on Jalan H. Juanda are dominated by motorbikes, shop houses, and street vendors. The actors involved in this area are users of rail transportation services, entrepreneurs around the station environment, street vendors (street vendors), drivers (motor cars, public transport), pedestrians. In this area there is a meeting between pedestrians and motorized vehicles. This area is a traffic jam point in Bekasi because there is a rail gate that is close to the sharp bamboo monument roundabout. Under these conditions, it is necessary to organize along the H. Juanda road corridor to overcome the congestion that occurs and to design a road corridor that accommodates all existing activities and actors. The arrangement begins with a field survey to identify problems, collect data and measure existing in the field. These data are then analyzed using Hamid Sirvani's Urban Design theory, taking into account the applicable regulations and standards. The output of this arrangement is the corridor design for Jln. H. Juanda includes the design of pedestrian circulation paths, public and private vehicle drivers, paths and street vendor zones. Design output includes two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) layout drawings.

Abstract

Wisata kuliner di Karawang merupakan pusat kuliner yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan kuliner dengan menyediakan fasilitas pendukung kegiatan wisata kuliner dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Kawasan wisata kuliner ini bisa menjadi ikon Karawang karena dirancang berdasarkan kearifan lokal yang dimiliki Karawang itu sendiri. Pendekatan arsitektur metaforis pada perancangan bangunan wisata kuliner di Karawang menggunakan metafora intangible atau metafora abstrak. Bentuk dasar massa bangunan yang hanya terlihat kotak-kotak dan terdapat banyak gazebo di bagian luarnya menjadi ciri kearifan lokal yang ada di tanah Pasundan, Karawang ini. Penerapan arsitektur metafora intangible dapat diterapkan pada fungsi massa ruang yang saling mempersatukan antara pengunjung, pelaku usaha/UKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) sehingga dapat tercipta gotong royong satu sama lain dalam rangka membangun sebuah ekosistem. suasana tanpa hambatan untuk bersatu menggerakkan pusat kuliner menjadi tempat kesinambungan perekonomian yang cerah bagi Karawang.

Abstract

Yogyakarta, as one of the main tourist destinations in Indonesia, has very strategic and historically rich areas, one of which is the Malioboro Street area which is known as the center of trade and culture. Surrounding this area are two important districts, Ngupasan and Ngampilan, which have strong historical-trade characteristics but are also facing pressure from rapid tourism development. Rapid changes in the social and economic structure of these two districts pose challenges in space management, the quality of life of local communities, and the preservation of cultural identity. This research aims to analyze the application of the shaping neighborhoods concept in the design of Ngupasan and Ngampilan areas in Yogyakarta City. The concept of shaping neighborhoods is expected to provide solutions in creating sustainable areas, integrating various spatial functions, such as residential, public spaces, and commercial areas, as well as promoting social diversity and local community involvement. With this approach, this research also explores how a design based on the principle of shaping neighborhoods can create a balance between the needs of tourism and the sustainability of local communities. The method used in this research is qualitative analysis through literature studies, field observations, and interviews with stakeholders, including city governments, urban planners, as well as local communities and tourism sector actors. The results show that the application of the concept of shaping neighborhoods in these two districts can optimize the function of space, increase social interaction, and strengthen the integration between the social life of local communities with growing tourism activities. This research is expected to provide recommendations for urban planning that is more inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the dynamics of change in the historical-trade area.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan kegiatan dalam sebuah kawasan tidak terlepas dari dukungan kegiatan-kegiatan yang lain. Kawasan Industri tidak bisa berkembang sendiri tanpa dukungan dari zona-zona penyangga seperti zona pendidikan, komersial, kesehatan, wisata, dan sosial budaya. Cikarang sebagai kawasan industri memerlukan zona penyangga salah satunya adalah zona wisata. Di Kampung Poncol Pasirsari Cikarang selatan terdapat lahan yang potensial dikembangkan untuk kegiatan wisata terutama kuliner, karena lokasinya yang dikelilingi perusahaan industri dimana karyawannya membutuhkan lokasi untuk makan dan refreshing sejenak dari rutinitas kegiatan industri. Lahan yang tersedia di kampung Poncol ini akan dikembangkan sesuai potensinya menjadi kawasan wisata kuliner yang mengedepankan konsep Ekologi yang di kaitkan dengan arsitektur. Karena itulah muncul ide perancangan kawasan Ekowisata Kuliner di kampung Poncol desa Pasirsari Cikarang Selatan Kabupaten Bekasi ini.

Abstract

Pasar Bojongsari merupakan pusat perekonomian lokal di Kecamatan Kedungwaringin, Bekasi, namun menghadapi tantangan besar dari sisi infrastruktur dan pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang pasar menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur industrial futuristik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara pengguna, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis menunjukkan perlunya optimalisasi fungsi, zonasi ruang, serta peningkatan estetika dan efisiensi melalui desain yang modern, bersih, dan berorientasi masa depan. Konsep ini diharapkan menjadi solusi inovatif bagi revitalisasi pasar tradisional agar tetap relevan di era urbanisasi.

Abstract

The expansion of Jakarta’s suburban areas has intensified residential development near railway lines, including Bekasi City, West Java. High-frequency train operations generate noise levels that may exceed the residential environmental quality standard of 55 dB(A) stipulated by Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment Decree No.48/1996. This study aims to measure noise levels, map their spatial distribution, and propose mitigation strategies. Measurements were conducted using a Sound Level Meter (SLM) at ten sampling points on both sides of the railway, spaced approximately 400 meters apart. Data were collected over two weeks during peak hours, with readings recorded every 5 seconds for 10 minutes at each point. Results indicate average daily noise levels of 60–65 dB(A), with the highest value of 75 dB(A) at approximately 3 meters from the track and the lowest value of 52 dB(A) beyond 15 meters. Noise mapping using Surfer 15.0 and ArcGIS 10.2 shows critical zones >70 dB(A) within a 0–5 meter radius, while zones of 60–70 dB(A) dominate 5–10 meters. Levels below 55 dB(A) occur only beyond 15 meters and are rare due to high housing density. Recommended mitigation includes natural barriers such as dense vegetation, artificial barriers such as acoustic panels, and enforcing a minimum 20-meter setback for new housing development. This study underscores the importance of noise mapping as a foundation for spatial planning and residential environmental protection.
