Abstract

The use of computer-based Management Information Systems (MIS) has become crucial in corporate decision-making in this digital era. This study investigates the impact of computer- based MIS on the efficiency and quality of corporate decision-making. Through comprehensive literature analysis, it is found that MIS provides significant benefits in delivering quick and accurate information access, as well as aiding in overcoming the data overload issues that often hinder decision-making processes. The integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as predictive analytics and artificial intelligence, further strengthens the role of MIS in enhancing corporate decision-making responsiveness and intelligence. Thus, the development and implementation of computer-based MIS are crucial in improving performance and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to learn how V Sport and other micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the soccer manufacturing sector use e-commerce to increase their profits. The sources used for this analysis include financial records from Shopee and Lazada Football MSMEs in 2022. In this study, 12 samples were selected for examination using purposive sampling technique. Classical hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression, descriptive analysis, and SPSS hypothesis testing are some of the analytical techniques used. The research shows that Shopee has a great influence on net profit, but Lazada has no real influence. In addition, the study revealed that the combination of Shopee and Lazada significantly increased net profit. An example from MSMEs: V Sport, a soccer ball manufacturer, shows that the combined impact of Shopee and Lazada on net income exceeds the impact generated by any single e-commerce platform.

Abstract

The implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) is essential for organizations to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness. However, the success of MIS implementation is influenced by various complex factors. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the success of MIS implementation from the perspective of a case study in a medium- sized manufacturing company. Through interviews, observations, and document analysis, seven key factors were identified: top management support, user involvement, training and mentoring, alignment with business processes, information technology infrastructure, organizational culture, and change management. These findings provide valuable insights for organizations to effectively manage MIS implementation and achieve expected benefits. The theoretical and practical implications of this research are also discussed.

Abstract

Human resources are a very important aspect in a company, with good resources the company can achieve company goals. Employees are human resources who play an important role in implementing the vision, mission and goals of an industry. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of motivation, work environment, psychological climate and job satisfaction on employee performance in a company. Researchers used literature review and descriptive analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is a method by collecting data, compiling or classifying, analyzing and interpreting it. The results of the analysis prove that employee motivation and psychology greatly influence employee job satisfaction in a company. The results of the research have implications for motivation, work environment conditions, psychological climate and employee job satisfaction which need to be improved and if employee job satisfaction increases then employee performance will also increase.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has led to the widespread adoption of Cloud Computing in various industries, including online trading. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of implementing a Cloud Computing-based Management Information System (MIS) in the online trading industry. Using a qualitative and quantitative approach, the study examines the infrastructure, security, cost, and benefits associated with the implementation of such a system. A case study of a leading cloud hosting provider in the industry was conducted to gather data through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of a Cloud Computing-based MIS is feasible and offers significant benefits, including improved operational flexibility, scalability, and data accessibility. However, challenges such as data security and integration with existing systems need to be addressed. This research contributes to the understanding of the potential of Cloud Computing in enhancing management information systems in the online trading industry.

Abstract

Sistem informasi telah menjadi bagian penting dalam komunikasi antara masyarakat dan organisasi dalam berbagai konteks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan penerapan sistem informasi yang mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan dinamika masyarakat dan organisasi. Dalam konteks ini, fokus utamanya adalah pada pengembangan sistem informasi yang memungkinkan kolaborasi efektif antara komunitas dan organisasi, meningkatkan partisipasi dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasi.Metode evaluasi yang terdiri dari analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan. dari implementasi ini. sistem Informasi . Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan interaktif dalam pengembangan sistem informasi dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan. Sistem yang memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dan organisasi dapat meningkatkan partisipasi publik dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, meningkatkan ketersediaan layanan, dan mengoptimalkan kinerja organisasi.Studi ini membantu memahami bagaimana sistem informasi dapat menjadi alat yang efektif . untuk memfasilitasi komunikasi antara masyarakat dan organisasi. Implikasi praktisnya mencakup panduan bagi pengembang sistem informasi untuk merancang solusi yang memenuhi perubahan kebutuhan dan dinamika masyarakat dan organisasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi sistem informasi dalam konteks yang kompleks ini, yang dapat membantu meningkatkan strategi implementasi di masa depan.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen merupakan platform yang menyediakan data untuk memfasilitasi proses pengambilan keputusan yang efektif, baik dalam mengatasi tantangan maupun dalam mengeksplorasi peluang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen dalam pemasaran di PT Bank Central Asia Tbk melalui metode pustaka, yang melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis data dari berbagai sumber terkait. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung operasional bisnis di PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, di mana tanpa teknologi informasi, operasional bank tidak akan mungkin berjalan.

Abstract

Abstrak Jurnal ini menyajikan tinjauan komprehensif mengenai penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam organisasi modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dan tantangan yang terkait dengan pengintegrasian MIS dalam proses SDM. Melalui tinjauan literatur yang sistematis, penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai metodologi dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam implementasi SIM dalam manajemen SDM. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari organisasi-organisasi di berbagai sektor yang telah mengadopsi MIS untuk fungsi SDM. Sampelnya mencakup studi kasus, survei, dan studi eksperimental yang mengeksplorasi dampak MIS terhadap kinerja SDM. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi survei, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan MIS yang efektif dalam manajemen SDM mengarah pada peningkatan efisiensi, pengambilan keputusan, dan kepuasan karyawan. Namun, tantangan seperti keamanan data, penolakan terhadap perubahan, dan masalah integrasi telah teridentifikasi. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya perencanaan strategis, pelatihan pengguna, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan dalam keberhasilan penerapan MIS dalam manajemen SDM.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital telah menjadi praktik dominan dalam dunia bisnis modern, menawarkan manfaat signifikan seperti jangkauan global, biaya rendah, ROI terukur, penargetan akurat, fleksibilitas, koneksi instan, dan pembangunan hubungan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menganalisis fenomena disrupsi digital sebagai kekuatan transformatif yang merekonstruksi strategi pemasaran dan model bisnis. Melalui metode meta-analisis data sekunder, temuan mengungkap bahwa disrupsi digital bukanlah ancaman, melainkan peluang strategis bagi organisasi bisnis untuk berinovasi, khususnya dalam pengembangan layanan digital berbasis teknologi baru. Kunci keberhasilan menghadapi disrupsi terletak pada fokus organisasi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan sebagai tujuan akhir, serta kemampuan beradaptasi melalui pembangunan budaya digital, pemanfaatan data, dan kolaborasi. Studi empiris (termasuk selama pandemi COVID-19) menunjukkan pergeseran masif ke strategi pemasaran digital (SEO, SEM, konten interaktif) yang terbukti meningkatkan kinerja bisnis. Disimpulkan bahwa organisasi yang merangkul disrupsi sebagai mitra inovasi dengan tetap berpusat pada pelanggan akan mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1)  to find some important problems of online purchase, 2) to know the effect of  problems of online purchase on consumer behavior; 3) to reveal  the influence of consumer behavior on repeat purchase decision; 4) to know the effect of  problems of online purchase  on repeat buying decision through consumer behavior. The present writer employs the research based on the quantitative approach,  descriptive and verified design, and  survey method. As much as 100 consumers of the major online shops are selected using purposive random sampling as the respondents. The data from the site is analyzed using the partial least square structural equation modeling. The findings of the research are as follows:  First, indicators’ effect of the problems of online purchase on consumer behavior falls is moderate. Second, the influence  of the behavior of the consumer on the indicators  of the buying decision  is moderate. Third, the influence of indicators of the behavior of  consumer on repeat buying decision ranges from low to moderate effect. Fourth, The effect of the consumer behavior on the indicators of the repeat buying decision is low. Sixth, Problems of online purchase affects Consumer behavior significantly with its indicators. Seventh, Consumer behavior affects significantly the Repeat buying decision. Eight, problems of the online purchase  affects the repeat buying decision through the consumer behavior.
