Abstract

Occupational safety and health is an effort to prevent or reduce work accidents through stopping/minimizing risks or hazard factors in order to achieve work targets or creation. Based on data from the International Labor Organization (ILO), every year 2.78 million workers die due to accidents and diseases at work. Based on this number, around 2.4 million (86.3 percent) die from occupational diseases, while more than 380,000 (13.7 percent) from work accidents. Therefore, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a crucial aspect in reducing the level of hazard risk to workers. This study aims to understand the level of compliance of workers wearing PPE at the work site. This research is qualitative research and case study research design. Based on the results of interviews and observations carried out, it is understood that the level of compliance of informants wearing PPE is still fairly moderate, this matter is evident from the informant's statement that there are still many incomplete use of PPE required when working.

Abstract

Indonesia is known for its diverse culture and also has a large expanse of water territory. Most of Indonesia's territory consists of oceans and has great marine potential. This potential should be able to improve the welfare of the community, especially the fishermen who rely on this marine potential. However, the reality is that fishermen's lives are often plagued by poverty. Fishermen, especially laborers and traditional fishermen, are among the poorest groups in coastal areas. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The research population is all fishermen in the coastal area of Pantai Labu, Palu Sibaji District. The research sample was taken using accidental sampling. Data was collected through interviews using prepared questionnaires. The research respondents totaled 30 people who work as fishermen. The findings of this research show that most fishermen still use traditional fishing gear and also make efforts to preserve the marine ecosystem, such as building fish houses and strongly prohibiting sea bombing.

Abstract

Melalui lomba keagamaan, penelitian ini berupaya mengkaji bagaimana perkembangan agama anak di Desa Tapak Kuda. Upaya ini dilakukan untuk mempromosikan cita-cita agama dan memperluas kesadaran beragama di usia muda. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif, metodologi penelitian bersifat kualitatif. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data selama kompetisi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontes keagamaan, seperti kontes membaca, berbicara, dan kecerdasan religius, memiliki efek yang menguntungkan pada praktik keagamaan dan pemahaman pemuda desa. Karakter anak-anak dibentuk dan perasaan kebersamaan mereka diperkuat oleh kompetisi ini, yang juga meningkatkan pemahaman agama.
