Abstract

This study aims to see and assess what are the direct and indirect influences that affect teacher performance which are influenced by the principal's leadership variable, work environment and work motivation in high school in Muaro Jambi. In research using a quantitative approach and survey techniques were chosen as the data collection technique in this study that was used was distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The subjects in this study were teachers at SMA Muaro Jambi with a total sample of 250 teacher in SMA Muaro Jambi using gpower to determine the amount of sampling. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which is distributed and collected via Googleform. Quantitative data analysis using the PLS-SEM method. The results of this study indicate that (1) the principal's leadership influences teacher performance, (2) the work environment influences teacher performance, (3) work motivation influences teacher performance, (4) principal's leadership influences work motivation, (5) work environment affects work motivation, (6) principal leadership influences teacher performance mediated by work motivation and (7) work environment influences teacher performance mediated by work motivation. So, principal leadership, work environment and work motivation influences teacher performance SMA in Muaro Jambi. Abstract

This study explores the persuasive communication strategies used by the TikTok account @somethinc.official to build interaction and influence followers’ buying decisions. The researcher focuses on how the brand delivers persuasive messages through video content, captions, and comment section interactions. Previous studies agree that social media platforms like TikTok are effective in shaping consumer behavior through visual and interactive approaches. However, earlier research has not specifically highlighted how psychodynamic elements and meaning construction are used by local beauty brands in Indonesia. This study fills that gap by analyzing persuasive communication strategies based on two-way interaction used by the @somethinc.official TikTok account. This study aims to explain how persuasive communication strategies are applied in TikTok content to increase engagement and influence followers’ buying decisions. A descriptive qualitative method is used, with content analysis of videos, captions, and comments. The concepts used in this study include psychodynamic communication theory and meaning construction in social media. The results show that @somethinc.official consistently applies persuasive strategies through live streaming to create two-way interaction, casual language to build closeness with followers, and visual elements like the brand’s signature colors. Content such as product explanations, user reviews, and promotional offers like discounts has been effective in increasing engagement and encouraging purchases. These findings support the principles of persuasive communication and are relevant for other brands on similar platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to examine two main aspects of the principal's servant leadership in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, namely: the application of servant leadership principles in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi and the challenges faced by the principal in implementing the Independent Curriculum through a servant leadership approach. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and document analysis. The informants in this study consist of the principal, vice principals, subject teachers, and student representatives. The findings of the study reveal that: (1) the principal applies servant leadership principles based on five indicators. The principal actively supports teachers and students through mentoring, training, and creating a conducive learning environment. Servant leadership has been proven to help teachers adapt to curriculum changes, enhance collaboration, and strengthen teacher and student motivation in implementing the Independent Curriculum. (2) However, there are several challenges in implementing the Independent Curriculum through a servant leadership approach, including teachers' limited understanding of the curriculum, difficulties in accepting change, inadequate technological support, and varying levels of teacher adaptation to the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Kegiatan "Workshop Pelatihan Administrasi Sekolah: Menerapkan Teknologi AI dalam Perencanaan Pendidikan" di SMK Negeri 8 Merangin bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi melalui penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI). Masalah yang dihadapi mencakup manajemen data yang tidak terintegrasi, rendahnya keterampilan administrasi digital, dan kesulitan dalam penjadwalan serta komunikasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan intensif dan sesi praktik penggunaan alat AI, yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan staf dalam pengelolaan data, perencanaan pendidikan, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan administrasi staf, pengurangan kesalahan data, dan efisiensi operasional yang lebih baik. Peserta berhasil mengimplementasikan alat-alat AI dalam pengelolaan data dan perencanaan pendidikan, yang sebelumnya menjadi tantangan besar. Selain itu, workshop ini menciptakan kesadaran akan pentingnya teknologi dalam pendidikan, dengan staf dan guru lebih terbuka terhadap inovasi. Sekolah menunjukkan komitmen untuk melanjutkan penggunaan teknologi AI dalam administrasi, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di era digital.
