Abstract

This article explores the plastic waste-based payment policy implemented on the Suroboyo Bus Service in Indonesia, examining its alignment with the principles of a Green Constitution. The Green Constitution concept emphasizes the integration of environmental protection into legal frameworks. This study aims to analyze the Suroboyo Bus Service Plastic Waste Payment Policy in the context of the Green Constitution. Our analysis covers various aspects, including the historical background, legal norms, policy effectiveness, and the importance of community participation. The study employs normative-empirical research methods, examining the legal norms underpinning the Suroboyo Bus Service policy and its implementation. Quantitative data is collected through questionnaires distributed to the Suroboyo Bus Service users, revealing insights into public awareness, attitudes, and perceptions regarding the policy. Analysis of legal norms indicates a harmonization between the Suroboyo Bus Service policy and the Green Constitution principles outlined in the 1945 Indonesian Constitution. However, the study identifies a legal vacuum in waste management, suggesting more explicit guidelines are needed. The article also underscores the importance of collaborative efforts between the government and community organizations in efficient waste management.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the resilience of families of Semeru eruption survivors after being relocated to new housing from a Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah perspective, referring to the parameters in the Regulation of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, there are four indicators to measure family resilience, namely: physical, economic, social psychological, and socio-cultural. This research includes field studies with a qualitative approach, collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Content analysis is used as a data analysis technique, with triangulation of data sources as a technique for checking data validity. The research findings show: sequentially the economic aspects felt most affected by the survivors of the Semeru eruption after relocation, loss of assets and difficulty in finding new livelihoods were the causes, in second place the psychological aspect was due to the trauma felt, in third place the socio-cultural aspect was due to having to adapt in a neighborhood with completely new neighbors, and finally the physical aspect due to the lack of health services in the new residence. The efforts made are looking for a new job, strengthening the closeness between family members, strengthening solidarity and solidity between families in a new environment, and strengthening the spiritual aspects of the family. From a Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah perspective, the condition of survivors' families is not yet ideal, because these families are still classified as vulnerable in terms of economic aspects and the realization of the values of sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah. Referring to the provisions in Law no. 52 of 2009 and Law no. No. 24 of 2007, building the resilience of families of Semeru eruption survivors cannot be placed solely on the family, it needs real support from the government, professionals, academics and civil society, to make this happen.

Abstract

Islamic religious education in schools plays an important role in instilling religious values through effective communication between teachers and students and using appropriate media. This study aims to analyze the influence of communication styles (verbal and non-verbal) and communication media (print and electronic) of Islamic Religious Education teachers on students' religious attitudes in schools. The approach used is an associative quantitative approach to explore the relationship between these variables. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, selected to measure students' religious attitudes objectively. The research sample comprised 86 respondents, chosen through purposive sampling with specific criteria, such as students actively participating in lessons and at specific grade levels. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS, involving validity and reliability tests, classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression (including t-test and F-test). The analysis results show that the teachers' communication style has a significant and positive effect on students' religious attitudes (Sig. 0.000). In contrast, the communication media shows a significant but negative effect (Sig. 0.004). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect students' religious attitudes (F-test, Sig. 0.000). These findings indicate that although a good communication style can improve students' religious attitudes, inappropriate communication media may negatively affect those attitudes. Therefore, teachers need to choose the right communication style and media, considering the context and characteristics of the students, to support the optimal development of religious character.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembealajaran insya’ selalu menjadi perbincangan hangat, karena insya’ ini terhitung matakuliah lanjutan dari urutan maharah yang 4, yakni maharah kalam, maharah istima’, maharah qira’ah dan maharah kitabah (insya’), Perguruan tinggi islam berbasis pesantren merupakan perguruan tinggi dibawah naungan pesantren, yang mayoritas mahasiswanya adalah santri pondok. Tujuan penelitian ini: Pertama, untuk menganalisa perkuliahan matakuliah insya’ di Prodi Bahasa Arab Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Lumajang. Kedua, untuk mengetahui prosedur perkuliahan dalam meningkatkan maharah kitabah di Prodi Bahasa Arab Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Lumajang. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) bersifat kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini, pertama mahasiwa sudah banyak menguasai kosakata dan kaidah dasar bahasa arab, kedua dosen sudah melakukan metode pengajaran dengan baik, hanya saja terkendala refrensi yang minim, baik berupa buku atau file. Keywords: Pembelajaran insya’, maharah kitabah, Perguruan Tinggi Islam   الملخص تعد دراسة "الإِنشاء" دائمًا موضوعًا ساخنًا، لأن الإِنشاء يعتبر مادة دراسية متقدمة ضمن ترتيب المهارات الأربعة، وهي مهارة الكلام، مهارة الاستماع، مهارة القراءة ومهارة الكتابة (الإِنشاء). الجامعات الإسلامية التي تعتمد على النظام التعليمي التقليدي للمعاهد هي مؤسسات تعليمية تحت إشراف المعاهد، حيث يكون غالبية الطلاب فيها من طلاب المدارس الدينية. هدف هذا البحث هو: أولاً، تحليل دروس مادة الإِنشاء في برنامج اللغة العربية بكلية التربية الإسلامية مفتاح العلوم في لُماجانج. ثانيًا، معرفة إجراءات التدريس في تحسين مهارة الكتابة في برنامج اللغة العربية بكلية التربية الإسلامية مفتاح العلوم في لُماجانج. يُعتبر هذا البحث من نوع الأبحاث الميدانية (البحث في الواقع) ويتميز بالمنهجية النوعية، حيث تم جمع البيانات باستخدام المقابلات، والملاحظات، والتوثيق. نتائج البحث هي: أولاً، أن الطلاب قد تمكنوا من اكتساب العديد من المفردات والقواعد الأساسية في اللغة العربية، وثانيًا، أن الأساتذة قد قاموا بتطبيق طرق تدريس جيدة، ولكنهم يواجهون صعوبة بسبب قلة المراجع، سواء كانت كتبًا أو ملفات. الكلمات الرئيسية : تعليم الإنشاء, مهارة الكتابة, الجامعات الإسلامية. Abstract

This study aims to develop a madrasah culture-based etiquette education model in strengthening students’ character in Islamic primary education. The study is grounded in the concern that etiquette education in madrasahs is often implemented in a fragmented and unsystematic manner, limiting its effectiveness in fostering students’ moral development. Therefore, this research seeks to analyze the existing practices of etiquette education and to formulate a more integrated and sustainable model based on madrasah culture. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design conducted at Darut Tauhid Islamic Primary School, Jember, Indonesia. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, and educational staff. The data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while ensuring trustworthiness through triangulation and validation techniques. The findings reveal that etiquette education has been implemented through habituation practices, religious activities, and teacher role modeling, supported by subjects such as Akhlaqul Lil Banin and Aqidah Akhlak. However, its implementation remains partially structured, lacking systematic integration across the curriculum and consistency in practice. Despite these limitations, the study shows that such practices have a significant positive impact on students’ discipline, politeness, and social responsibility. Based on these findings, the study proposes an integrative model consisting of five key components: Islamic value foundation, teacher exemplarity, integrated habituation, supportive madrasah environment, and parental collaboration. The novelty of this study lies in its effort to conceptualize etiquette education not merely as a set of habitual practices, but as an integrated system embedded within madrasah culture. It also offers a contextual application of the concept of adab in Islamic primary education, bridging theoretical perspectives with practical implementation. This study contributes to the field of Islamic education by providing a conceptual framework that integrates character education theories with Islamic values, while also offering practical guidance for developing more structured and sustainable etiquette education programs in madrasahs. The findings are expected to support educators and policymakers in strengthening value-based education within Islamic schooling contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of integration of ecotheology and the Love-Based Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, the process of fostering students’ environmental ethics, and the impacts of this integration on students’ environmental ethics at MI Nurul-Islam Banyuputih Kidul. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews with the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students, as well as documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation.The results show that the integration of ecotheology and the Love-Based Curriculum is implemented by linking aqidah and akhlaq materials with human responsibility as khalifah, instilling the values of love, care, and compassion, and habituating environmentally responsible behavior in learning activities and students’ daily routines. The process of fostering environmental ethics is carried out gradually through teacher role modeling, routine class duties, collective clean-up activities, plant care, and the reinforcement of theological meaning that caring for the environment is part of worship. This integration has a positive impact on increasing students’ awareness, responsibility, and concern for the school environment. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk integrasi ekoteologi dan Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), proses penumbuhan etika lingkungan siswa, serta dampaknya terhadap etika lingkungan siswa di MI Nurul-Islam Banyuputih Kidul. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala madrasah, guru, dan siswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ekoteologi dan Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta dilaksanakan melalui pengaitan materi akidah dan akhlak dengan tanggung jawab manusia sebagai khalifah, penanaman nilai cinta, kepedulian, dan kasih sayang, serta pembiasaan perilaku menjaga lingkungan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan aktivitas harian. Proses penumbuhan etika lingkungan berlangsung secara bertahap melalui keteladanan guru, pembiasaan piket, kerja bakti, perawatan tanaman, dan penguatan makna teologis bahwa menjaga lingkungan merupakan bagian dari ibadah. Integrasi tersebut berdampak positif terhadap meningkatnya kesadaran, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan sekolah.
