Abstract

Many textbooks available in the market require educators to be selective when choosing and using them as sources of knowledge to support learning. A high-quality textbook should align with the developmental and growth stages of students to achieve national educational goals. This study aims to evaluate and develop Arabic language textbooks based on BSKAP qualifications. The research employs a qualitative-evaluative approach, specifically a library research study with content analysis. For data analysis, Krippendorf's model is used, and the validity of the data is ensured by cross-checking the findings. The study's results highlight four aspects of textbook feasibility established by BSKAP: content/material feasibility, presentation feasibility, language feasibility, and design/graphic feasibility. Some indicators within each aspect require revisions, additional materials, and innovations from the authors of the Arabic textbooks under KMA 183 and the Arabic language educators who are implementing the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Arabic has a level of complexity in terms of rules, meaning, and vocabulary which causes students to find it difficult to learn and even avoid learning Arabic, one of which is writing skills. This research aims to provide an overview and describe how to apply the text-based Arabic language learning model in writing skills through a theoretical review according to Hammond. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type with data collection techniques, that is interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis model used is the Miles Huberman and Saldana interactive model including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research are text-based learning in students' writing skills at Ma'had Sabilillah Malang using Hammound's text-based learning model with 4 stages, namely: Stage 1; BKOF (Building knowledge of the field), Stage 2; MOT (Modelling of text), Stage 3; JCOT (Join Construction of text), Stage 4; ICOT (Independent Construction of Text) is the implementation of students' knowledge and understanding to produce text independently. In its implementation, it starts with teacher-centered learning (Teacher-centered approach) then teachers and students collaborate to play an active role in compiling and analyzing texts that have been created with themes about daily activities. In the final stage, students learn independently and the teacher only acts as controlling. The Arabic language learning process based on Hammond's theory creates a classroom atmosphere where writing skills are not as usual, which is tense and quickly gets boring, resulting in students synergizing with each other in producing their best work in writing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis letak kesalahan secara fonologi dalam bacaan Al-Qur’an pada QS An-Naba’ pada saat membacanya baik bil ghoib maupun bin nadzr. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif di MAN Lumajang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kesalahan yang terjadi dalam aspek artikulasinya yaitu terdapat 6 kesalahan konsonan dalam bacaan siswa (4 huruf konsonan jenis frikatif dan 2 huruf konsonan jenis hambat) selain itu juga terdapat 5 kesalahan dalam huruf vokal (2 huruf vokal pendek dan 3 huruf vokal panjang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari peneliti bahwasanya kesalahan yang terjadi adalah jenis kesalahan error dan mistakes yang harus dilakukan tindakan untuk menanggulangi kesalahan tersebut. Adapun manfaat penelitian ini secara teoritis dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan ilmu aswat, khususnya dalam konteks keterkaitan antara kesalahan konsonan dan vokal dalam bacaan al-Qur’an. Sedangkan secara praktis penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi yang kemudian dapat diaplikasikan sebagai tata cara membaca yang efektif bagi pembelajar al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujaun untuk mengetahui problematika dan solusi yang tepat terhadap tantangan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran 7 kota Batu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif  yang bersifat deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah Tantangan dan problematika pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada santri MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran 7 kota Batu secara umum dapat dibagi menjadi dua bagian. 1) dari segi pendidik, yaitu: a) kesiapan sebelum pembelajaran, b) metode yang diguanakan, c) kurangnya sarana dan prasarana dalam PBA dan problematika dari segi peserta didik, yaitu: a) kurangnya kemauan dan kesungguhan dari peserat didik, b) perbedaan latar belakang, c) kurangnya perhatian dari guru dan orang tua.  Soulisinya yaitu: 1) harus adanya kesiapan bagi seorang guru, 2) memberikan metode yang efesien dan efektif, 3) memberikan fasilitas yang menunjang peserta didik, 4) memberikan motivasi sebelum memulai materi, 5) memperhatikan latar belakang setiap siswa dan 6) memberikan perhatian lebih kepada santri. Adapun harapan peneliti dengan penelitian ini dapat menambah keilmuan dan sebagai sumbangan pemikiran untuk mengoptimalkan upaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran khususnya pada pelajar bahasa Arab, dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan profesionalismenya dalam mengajar sehingga tujuan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab bisa dicapai dengan baik dan efesien.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektvitas model video based learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan maharah kalam pada santri MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran 7 kota Batu. Jenis penilitian ini  quasi experimental atau eksperimen semu, Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah seluruh santri MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran 7 kota Batu yang terdiri 11 kelas, dan sampelnya adalah kelas VII A dan B. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan simple random sampling, dan yang menjadi kelomok kontrol dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII A, dan kelompok eksperimen adalah kelas VII B. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pre-test pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 59,00 dan dan hasil pre-test kelas eksperimen 57,00, sehingga dapat kita ketahui nilai rata-rata atau kemampuan pada santri dari kedua kelompok tersebut masih berada pada level yang rendah. Sedangkan pada hasil post-test kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata masih pada nilai yang sama yaitu 59,00. Sedangkan pada hasil  post-test kelas eksperimen nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 78,30, dengan nilai tersebut dapat kita lihat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Sehingga media model video based learning efektif terhadap peningkatan maharah kalam para ssantri MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran 7 kota Batu.

Abstract

ABSTRAK This study aims to analyze public perceptions regarding the prohibition of inter-tribal marriage among the Buton and Kei tribes, using the perspective of maqasid al-sharia and 'urf through a phenomenological approach. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, where a phenomenological approach is used to understand people's subjective experiences related to the prohibition. The primary data in this study were obtained from direct interviews with the Buton and Kei tribal communities, while secondary data was obtained from relevant documents, such as Islamic legal literature and local customary studies. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. The phenomenological data analysis technique used involves two main stages, namely Horizonalization and Cluster of Meaning. In the first stage, each participant's statement was analyzed in parallel without initial assumptions, then grouped in the second stage to find relevant meanings related to public perception. The results of the study show that from the perspective of maqasid al-shharia, this prohibition of inter-tribal marriage is considered as part of the efforts of hifdz al-nasab (safeguarding offspring), which includes the importance of maintaining genealogy and family honor. Public perceptions are divided into three main groups: those who agree with the ban, those who are moderate or neutral, and those who resist. In addition, from the point of view of 'urf, the prohibition is categorized as 'urf sahih (legitimate tradition), which is in line with the accepted principles of Islamic law. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Community Language Learning (CLL) method and the use of Quizalize in learning nahwu mabda'i at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. It employs a mixed-method approach with a sequential exploratory design, beginning with a qualitative approach (case study) involving observation, interviews, and documentation. This is followed by a quantitative approach (experiment) that includes normality, validity, and reliability tests. The results indicate that the implementation of the CLL method in learning nahwu mabda'i consists of five stages: Embryonic Stage, Self-Assertion Stage, Birth Stage, Reversal Stage, and Independent Stage. To measure effectiveness, a pre-test was administered at the beginning and a post-test at the end of the learning process, using 25 questions related to mubtada' material. The results of the normality test (Shapiro-Wilk) and the non-parametric hypothesis test showed that the hypothesis was accepted. Of the 25 questions, 17 were deemed valid, while 8 were invalid. The reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha yielded a value of 0.785, indicating high reliability. Thus, the application of the CLL method, supported by Quizalize, has proven to be more effective and solution-oriented in enhancing students' understanding of nahwu mabda'i at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan metode Community Language Learning (CLL) dan pemanfaatan Quizalize dalam pembelajaran nahwu mabda’i di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix method dengan desain sequential exploratory, diawali dengan pendekatan kualitatif (studi kasus) melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif (eksperimen) melalui uji normalitas, validitas, dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode CLL dalam pembelajaran nahwu mabda’i terdiri atas lima tahapan: Embrionic Stage, Self-Assertion Stage, Birth Stage, Reversal Stage, dan Independent Stage. Pengukuran efektivitas dilakukan melalui pre-test di awal dan post-test di akhir pembelajaran menggunakan 25 butir soal terkait materi mubtada’. Hasil uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk) dan uji hipotesis non-parametrik menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Dari 25 soal, 17 dinyatakan valid, sementara 8 lainnya tidak valid. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha memperoleh nilai 0,785, yang menunjukkan reliabilitas tinggi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode CLL yang didukung oleh Quizalize terbukti lebih efektif dan solutif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman nahwu mabda’i mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

Abstract

This study explores the application of the Qatar Debate methodology to enhance Arabic students' public speaking skills through debate simulations. The study aimed to improve students' verbal fluency, confidence, and critical thinking by encouraging them to analyze, formulate arguments, and actively engage in Arabic discourse. The research was conducted at the Key to Islamic Sciences University in Lumajang, integrating formal instruction in academic debate. Fifteen students participated in this study, using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and recordings, with analysis following the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that debate simulations, based on the Qatar Debate methodology, significantly enhance students' Arabic public speaking and critical thinking abilities..

Abstract

Stigmatization of Indonesian society who still uses the label of patriarchal culture by limiting the space, higher education opportunities and participation in the public sphere for women under the pretext of hadith understood by the editor of the dominance of women's stereotypes.This study aims to analyze the role of public and domestic for men and women based on the perspective of Dr. Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir through a phenomenological approach. This type of research is qualitative research with a literature study method and uses a phenomenological approach. The primary data sources in this study are women’s books (not sources of slander, while secondary data sources are books, journal articles, seminars, and online sites that are accurate and in line with this research). Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. While the data analysis used deductive descriptive analysis. The results of this study are public and domestic roles for men and women based on the perspective of Dr. Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir through a phenomenological approach is not a sect that must be debated if using the Mubadala method. If the Mubadalah method is applied, then gender inequality such as a double burden will not occur if we adhere to the reciprocal and relational theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the contents of the tenth-grade Arabic textbook by Hasan Saefullah based on the 2008 Ministry of National Education standards and Ahmad Thu'aimah. The research method used is a literature study using qualitative method with descriptive content analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that this book generally has complied with the principles of compiling the 2008 Ministry of National Education standard teaching materials. It is aligned with the principles of consistency, relevancy, and adequacy, which have been contained in competency standards and basic competencies in learning objectives. However, on the gradation principle, there is a discrepancy in the material contained in the teaching material preparation, such as the receptive and expressive language mastery section. The author places the mastery of reading skills after listening skills and grammatical mastery before speaking skills. It violates the order of language learning in general because the sequence of language learning starts from maharah istima', then maharah kalam, maharah qiroah, and finally maharah kitaba. Meanwhile, Thu'aimah standards, which includes the principles of validity, meaningfulness, and feasibility, have also been applied in the preparation of this textbook. The researchers expect that the authors of Arabic teaching materials pay more attention to several international and national standardization principles in writing Arabic teaching materials.
