Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, while data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS software. The results of the study showed that partially (t-test), Academic Pressure had a negative and significant effect on students' Mental Health, while Social Support had a positive and significant effect on students' Mental Health. Simultaneously (F-test), Academic Pressure and Social Support together had a significant effect on students' Mental Health with a contribution value (R Square) of 69.0%, while the remaining 31.0% was influenced by other variables outside this research model. This study aims to evaluate the performance comparison between employees who work on Saturdays and those who are off on that day in Yogyakarta. The method used is an independent sample t-test to analyze the performance differences between the two groups. The results show that employees who are off on Saturdays have significantly better performance with an average score of 86.51 compared to 72.49 for those who work, with a p-value < 0.001. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of work policies that consider work-life balance to improve employee productivity. These findings provide new insights for management in designing more effective and sustainable work policies and open up opportunities for further research on factors affecting employee performance in a broader context.

Abstract

As digital transformation accelerates in the post-pandemic workplace, employees face increasing pressure to remain constantly connected and responsive. While technology enhances flexibility and efficiency, it also introduces new psychological demands that can undermine employee wellbeing. This study investigates the influence of technostress, digital work overload, and supervisor support on employee wellbeing among professionals working in hybrid and digitally integrated organizations in 2025. Grounded in the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) theory and the Conservation of Resources (COR) model, this research proposes that technostress and digital work overload function as job demands that exhaust personal resources, while supervisor support serves as a critical job resource that can buffer negative effects and promote wellbeing. Data were collected through an online survey involving 210 respondents from various service and technology-based companies operating in Jakarta and Bandung. Results from that technostress and digital work overload have significant negative effects on employee wellbeing, while supervisor support has a significant positive effect. These findings confirm that maintaining digital balance and supportive leadership are essential for sustaining psychological health in the digital work environment. The study contributes to discussions on digital wellbeing in HRM by emphasizing the need for mindful technology use and empathetic leadership in hybrid workplaces.

Abstract

Talent management has become an important strategic approach in higher education to enhance lecturer performance, particularly amid the digital transformation that has increased lecturers’ exposure to technology-related work demands. In this context, lecturer performance may depend not only on institutional talent management practices but also on lecturers’ ability to cope with digital work pressures. This study examines the effect of talent management on lecturer performance and the moderating role of technostress among lecturers in higher education institutions. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted involving 200 lecturers from public and private higher education institutions in West Java Province, Indonesia. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that talent management has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, whereas technostress has a negative and significant effect. In addition, technostress significantly moderates the relationship between talent management and lecturer performance, such that the positive effect of talent management becomes weaker when technostress is higher. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of talent management in improving lecturer performance depends partly on lecturers’ digital work conditions. This study contributes to higher education human resource management literature by integrating talent management and technostress within a single model of lecturer performance. Practically, higher education institutions should strengthen talent management systems while simultaneously reducing technology-related work pressures through digital support, training, and more manageable academic work systems.
