Abstract

Salah satu komoditas perkebunan utama yang mendukung perekonomian di Nagekeo adalah kakao (Theobroma cacao L.). Komoditas ini berperan penting dalam menyediakan lapangan kerja dan sumber pendapatan masyarakat. Namun, pengelolaan Organisme Pengganggu Tumbuhan (OPT) yang belum optimal menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya produksi kakao di Kabupaten Nagekeo. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan petani terkait pengelolaan OPT kakao. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2019 di tiga kecamatan yang terletak di Kabupaten Nagekeo, yang terkenal dengan produksi kakao. Data pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan petani terhadap pengelolaan hama kakao dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur di mana responden di ambil dari setiap kecamatan. Hasil analisis chi-square menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada korelasi yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan, sikap, maupun tindakan petani terhadap pengelolaan OPT kakao.   One of the main plantation commodities that supports the economy in Nagekeo is cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.). This commodity plays an important role in providing employment and a source of income for the community. However, the suboptimal pest management is one of the factors causing low cocoa production in Nagekeo Regency. Therefore, this research aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of farmers regarding cocoa OPT management. This research was conducted from January to March 2019 in three sub-districts located in Nagekeo Regency, which is famous for cocoa production. Data on farmers' knowledge, attitudes and actions regarding cocoa pest management were collected through structured interviews where respondents were taken from each sub-district. The results of the chi-square analysis show that there is no significant correlation in farmers' knowledge, attitudes or actions regarding cocoa pest management.

Abstract

Indications of pest and disease attacks during plant growth cause a decrease in fruit quality. Fungi cause local or systemic symptoms in their host, and these symptoms may occur separately in different hosts, simultaneously in the same host, or one following the other in the same host. Diagnosis and identification of pathogens on a laboratory scale in kepok banana plants in Ngada Regency have not been conducted. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the pathogens causing various disease symptoms in banana plants so that it can serve as preliminary data for further research related to pathogen disease management and information for farmers. This research aims to inventory and identify pathogens causing diseases in banana plants. This research method uses a survey method (purposive sampling) and observation in the plant disease laboratory. The results found several pathogens associated with kepok banana plants, namely Fusarium wilt disease (Fusarium oxysporum and Fusarium graminearum) and bacterial wilt disease (Pseudomonas solanacearum and Ralstonia solanacearum).

Abstract

The production and growth of Oryza sativa L. rice plants are crucial for maintaining the long-term viability of food agriculture. The purpose of this study was to assess how liquid organic fertilizer affected the growth of the rice cultivars Kusuma 06 and Inpari 30. The study was carried out in Pape Village, which is situated in Bajawa Sub-district, Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, from January to April of 2024. The research method involved the application of liquid organic fertiliser to Inpari 30 and Kusuma 06 rice plants in the field during the research period. The height, number of leaves, and number of tillers on rice plants were noted, as well as the infestation rate of false whiteflies and brown stem leafhoppers. The results demonstrated that liquid organic fertiliser exerted a significant influence on rice plant growth, with enhanced plant height, leaf number, and tiller number observed in plants treated with liquid organic fertiliser. Furthermore, the infestation of false white pests and brown stem leafhoppers also exerted a notable impact on the growth and yield of rice plants, resulting in a reduction in grain production and substantial economic losses. The results of research conducted in Pape Village, Bajawa District, Ngada Regency indicated that the Inpari 30 rice variety yielded 9 sacks, while the Kusuma 06 variety yielded 7 sacks. The productivity of the Inpari 30 rice variety was found to be superior, particularly among wetland rice farmers. Consequently, the application of liquid organic fertiliser and integrated pest control is crucial to the practice of paddy rice farming in order to achieve optimal yields.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tanaman cabai merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang multifungsi, dapat digunakan sebagai bumbu masak, saus atau sambal dan bahan campuran obat-obatan serta banyak kandungan gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk organik cair kotoran ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi cabai rawit. Penelitian ini telah di laksanakan di Desa Turekisa,Kecamatan Golewa Barat Kabupaten Ngada .Waktu penelitian dimulai dari Desember 2024 sampai dengan Maret 2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non fakt al 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 5 (lima) ulangan. Adapun dosis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni P0 (kontrol), P1 (20 ml/lt air), P2 (40ml/lt air), P3 (60 ml/lt air). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemberian pupuk organik cair kotoran ayam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit dengan perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan P3 dosis 60 ml/air.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Terung (Solanum melongena L.) adalah tanaman holtikultura yang ditanam untuk dimanfaatkan buahnya.Terung menjadi salah satu bahan pangan yang mudah di dapat dan murah harganya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara dan pupuk organik cair Bowuli Subur Makmur pada dosis yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung ungu (Solanum melongena L).Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok sehingga menghasilkan 16 unit percobaan. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan sidik ragam Analisis Of Varians (ANOVA).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung ungu perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada POC BSM dengan perlakuan terbaik B2 dengan dosis 40 ml/L. Dan pupuk NPK Mutiara tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung ungu.
