Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in recent years, leading to increased business competition and encouraging innovation in product marketing. This trend has driven many entrepreneurs to develop products that are not only appealing but also offer added value. One such innovation in the beauty sector is the development of hair oil made from Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). This product utilizes VCO, which is rich in vitamin E, lauric acid, and antioxidants, all known for their benefits in nourishing hair and maintaining scalp health. The natural composition of VCO makes it a safe choice for individuals who wish to avoid harmful chemicals commonly found in hair care products. What makes this business unique is its formulation that combines VCO with almond oil. Although VCO is widely used in various beauty products, hair oil that blends it with almond oil remains rare in the market. Almond oil, which is also rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, helps moisturize the hair, reduce hair loss, and strengthen the hair roots. This combination is expected to provide maximum benefits for hair care. The method used in this study involved a product trial with several participants in the city of Makassar. The trial lasted for one week, aiming to evaluate the product’s effectiveness in delivering the intended benefits. The results of the study indicate that an optimal formulation was successfully developed, resulting in a high-quality hair oil with maximum benefits. Additionally, this product holds potential to increase community income by utilizing the abundant coconut resources, thereby adding value to the local economy

Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly in recent years, resulting in increasingly intense trade competition and various innovations in product marketing. This research focuses on the handicraft industry, especially in the manufacture of accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, and rings. Although the meronce looks simple, the biggest challenge is to create a unique design and ensure the strength of the connecting rope so that it doesn't break easily. Meronce accessories is an activity or process of stringing various elements into an attractive and functional whole, such as bracelets, necklaces, and rings. Usually, meronce is done by using elastic straps as a connecting medium and beads as decorations. While it looks easy and everyone can do it, not everyone has the same design idea when it comes to accessories. In addition, the challenge in meronce is the process of swallowing. We must be able to ensure that when accessories are used, the strap does not come off easily. These beaded accessories can also be a fashion support worn by someone.

Abstract

Marketing in the digital era has evolved with the advent of social media-based marketing strategies. Social media-based marketing strategies are becoming increasingly important for both large companies and MSMEs in building purchase intention for their products. Yotta, a well-known beverage brand in Makassar, presents a digital campaign with the tagline #SemangatYo. The #SemangatYo digital campaign is a form of Yotta's initiative to increase consumer visibility and engagement through digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the influence of social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, and digital literacy on Instagram in building purchase intention for Yotta. This study uses quantitative methods with techniquesnon probability samplingwith the type of sample taken in the research, namelypurposive sampling. This study was conducted through an online questionnaire with 97 respondents from Generation Y and Generation Z who had purchased Yotta products, followed Yotta's Instagram account, and resided in South Sulawesi. Data analysis techniques used classical assumption tests and multiple regression analysis to examine the influence of independent variables (social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, digital literacy) on the dependent variable (purchase intention). The results of the study indicate that the four independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Partially, the social proof and brand advocacy variables on Yotta's Instagram do not have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Meanwhile, the digital campaign and digital literacy variables on Yotta's Instagram partially have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Then the coefficient of determination has a value of 81.5% which indicates that there is 81.5% of the influence of social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, and digital literacy simultaneously on purchase intention while the remaining 18.5% is influenced by other variables that are not used as variables in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how financial capability and accessibility influence the interest of students at the UPTD SMAN 2 Campalagian, particularly those living in Rumpa Village, to pursue higher education. Economic barriers and access issues, such as distance and transportation, are the main obstacles affecting students' interest in continuing their education. This study used a descriptive quantitative method and collected data through questionnaires and documentation. Based on rational choice theory (Coleman, 1990), students' decisions to continue their education are heavily influenced by a cost-benefit analysis related to costs and accessibility. The findings of this study indicate that financial capability and accessibility significantly influence student interest, with financial capability being the most influential factor. It is hoped that these results can be used as a basis for formulating inclusive education policies for students in rural areas.
