Abstract

This research explores how to strengthen a brand image based on the two-way symbolic model through Generation Z. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects included caregivers, Pesantren heads, administrators, guardians, alums, the community, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that applying a two-way symmetrical communication model can strengthen the brand image of Pesantren through interaction with Generation Z, which can be proven by several indicators, namely dialogism, involvement of Generation Z, messaging adaptation, and relationships. A two-way symmetrical communication model can increase involvement and interaction between administrators, students, and the community. Generation Z has a crucial role in strengthening the image of Pesantren through social media campaigns. Open communication and responsive adaptation of messages to feedback help build a positive image of Pesantren. The active involvement of students in social and religious activities strengthens relationships with the community, making Pesantren an inclusive and responsive institution that contributes significantly to the welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Technological innovations, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), present new challenges and opportunities in higher education policy management. This study examines how higher education institutions can balance implementing innovative AI technology with ethical considerations. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved university leaders, lecturers, and students as subjects. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and policy document analysis, while data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that implementing AI in policy management requires addressing ethical aspects, such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency. Institutions can educate stakeholders about the benefits and risks of AI through communication and training initiatives while adopting ethical strategies, such as clear AI usage policies and stakeholder involvement in decision-making. Leveraging effective digital platforms, institutions can foster an environment that supports innovation while adhering to ethical principles. This research significantly contributes to the development of higher education management policies by emphasizing the importance of balancing innovation and ethics in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence-based learning on education policy and school management, with a focus on how schools adapt to technological disruption. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Artificial Intelligence-based learning requires transformative policy changes in three main aspects: data use policies, continuous training for teachers, and personalized learning approaches. Effective data management policies are critical to protecting student privacy and supporting adaptive learning based on real-time analytics. Continuous professional development enables teachers to utilize Artificial Intelligence tools effectively, while personalized learning strategies increase student engagement and motivation through an individualized approach. The implications of this research emphasize that the integration of Artificial Intelligence in education must be accompanied by ethical, inclusive and planned policies. The contribution of this research is both theoretical and practical, providing a framework for policy makers to design strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a culture of innovation to realize the maximum potential of Artificial Intelligence in education..
