Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran group investigation (GI) dan konvensional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pre-test-post-test control group design. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Ambon. Melalui teknik purposive sampling, dua kelas dipilih sebagai sampel yaitu satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan yang lainnya adalah kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemamuan berpikir kritis. Analis data kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis menggunakan uji-t dan ANOVA Dua Jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, (1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran GI dan konvensional secara signifikan; dan (2) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran GI lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari kategori kemampuan awal (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah).

Abstract

Salah satu aspek yang perlu di kembangkan dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini adalah fisik motorik, pengembangan aspek ini sangat penting karena sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan anak dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari hari secara mandiri. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat di gunakan dalam mengembangkan motorik halus anak adalah kegiatan kolase. Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motoric halus anak karena dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini banyak melakukan gerakan - gerakan kecil yang memerlukan koordinasi mata dan jari tangannya dan kelenturan tangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya masalah yang di temukan pada anak TK A di TK Betel Nabire terkait kurangnya kemampuan anak dalam melakukan kegiatan motoric halus, sepeti menulis, mewarnai dengan rapi, menggunting dengan baik, menempel kertas sesuai pola dan hal lainnya yang berkaitan dengan koordinasi mata dan tangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). PTK ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan dari setiap siklus nya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang di dapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya perkembangan yang signifikan setelah pelaksanaan perbaikan rencana pembelajaran selama 2 siklus, Perkembangan anak TK A di TK Betel Nabire mengalami kenaikan menjadi 50% untuk kedua indikator pada siklus 1 dan meningkat lagi menjadi 75% untuk kemampuan merobek, menggunting, menggulung, serta menyendok dan 87,5% untuk kemampuan menyusun kolase dengan baik pada siklus 2

Abstract

Effective management of school facilities and infrastructure is crucial for supporting the educational process. At SD Negeri Air Louw Ambon, significant challenges exist in optimizing the use and maintenance of existing facilities, primarily due to a lack of knowledge and skills among staff. This community service initiative aimed to provide assistance in improving facility management at the school, ultimately fostering a quality and child-friendly learning environment. The project involved stages of consultation and mentoring, workshops and training, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Results indicated substantial improvements in the knowledge and skills of teachers and staff, enhanced physical conditions of school facilities, a safer and more comfortable environment for students, and increased active participation from the entire school community. These improvements have significant implications for educational administration, supporting more effective leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement. The initiative underscores the importance of continuous professional development, regular maintenance, and stakeholder involvement in creating a sustainable and high-quality learning environment. Future efforts should focus on maintaining these gains and building on successful strategies to support long-term educational goals.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought about major changes in the world of education. Many applications have been created to facilitate learning in the classroom. GeoGebra is one such application that has been developed with simpler features so that students can apply it effectively. Community service activities are an important moment for universities to disseminate their research results. The Mathematics Education Study Program also takes part in efforts to improve the quality of education in Maluku through community service programs (PkM) based on research conducted by lecturers and collaborations between lecturers and students, particularly those related to the use of GeoGebra. This activity is necessary because mathematics is abstract in nature, making it difficult for many students to understand the material well. This condition was also found during the initial observation by the community service team at SMP Negeri 30 Maluku Tengah. Therefore, mathematics education lecturers and students conducted community service (PkM) at SMP Negeri 30 Maluku Tengah with a seminar and training approach, one of which was about the use of GeoGebra in linear function graph material. The students' responses showed that (1) Students felt that GeoGebra helped them solve math problems (mean of 4.04 with a good rating); (2) The development of GeoGebra software was easier to apply so that students could use it well (mean of 3.92 with good criteria); and (3) Students were more enthusiastic about learning mathematics and wanted better grades from their mathematics learning (mean of 3.93 with good criteria).

Abstract

This community service activity aims to help teachers in SD Negeri 1 Kairatu, Seram Bagian Barat district, develop a flow of learning objectives and teaching modules, and implement differentiated learning based on the independent learning curriculum. This activity was carried out in the form of socialization. To determine the results, participants were given a questionnaire containing questions related to the material provided before and after the socialization activity. The questionnaire results showed that 10 participants (100%) already understood how to compile the flow of learning objectives and teaching modules and were able to apply differentiated learning to their learning
