Abstract

Basic education plays a crucial role in shaping the academic and behavioral foundations of children worldwide. Amidst challenges such as early onset social and psychological issues, guidance and counseling in elementary schools are pivotal in providing the necessary support for the holistic development of students. This article systematically reviews literature concerning the implementation and evaluation of elementary school guidance and counseling programs. It focuses on evaluation methodologies, outcomes measured, and factors influencing successful implementation. The studies reviewed span various global contexts, exploring diverse approaches and practices in evaluating counseling programs. Key findings reveal varying evaluation methods utilized, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative techniques to gauge the programs' impact on students. Evaluation outcomes underscore improvements in academic performance, enhancement of social skills, and advancements in students' mental well-being. Critical factors contributing to successful implementation include strong school leadership, adequate resource allocation, and active parental engagement in the counseling process.

Abstract

This business plan is designed to advance Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in facing the challenges and opportunities of the digitalization era. In this context, the main focus is to implement a comprehensive digitalization strategy. First, involving UMKM in online platforms to increase market visibility and reachability. Second, adopt an effective digital marketing strategy, including the use of social media, SEO and data-based campaigns. Based on technological innovation, this plan aims to have a positive impact on the growth of UMKM, depict realistic growth projections, and provide adaptation strategies to changing digital market trends. It is hoped that the steps proposed in this business plan will strengthen the competitiveness of UMKM in the digital era, creating a business environment that is sustainable and responsive to dynamic changes in the digital economy.

Abstract

Correspondence is an important form of written communication in the world of education. The variety, form, and type of letters used in educational contexts are very diverse, reflecting the various communication needs and goals between the parties involved, including students, teachers, parents, and administrative parties. Official educational letters usually include notification letters, permission letters, invitation letters, certificates and decision letters. Each type of letter has a specific format and structure according to its purpose and function. For example, notification letters are often used to convey important information such as changes to school schedules or activities, while permission letters are used by students or parents to request permission to be absent. Invitation letters are generally used to invite parents or external parties to school events. Apart from that, certificates and decision letters are used to provide official statements or decisions related to academic and administrative processes. A good understanding of the types, forms and types of letters is very important for all parties in the world of education so that communication can run effectively and efficiently. In this research the author used a qualitative method with a library research approach. Library research is research that functions to obtain information from books, magazines, documents, historical records or in other words the facilities contained in the library.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of school libraries in improving students' information literacy at SMP Swasta IRA Medan. Using a quantitative survey method, data were obtained through a questionnaire involving 50 students as respondents. The results showed that the frequency of students' visits to the library was still low, with most respondents visiting the library less than once a week. Although the book collection was considered relevant, students provided input regarding updating and improving the collection. Library facilities and services also need improvement to increase the attractiveness of the library. This study recommends the addition of digital facilities, the implementation of literacy programs, and active promotion to increase library utilization. Thus, the library can function optimally as a center for information literacy resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the facilities and infrastructure services to improve the quality of education, the facilities and infrastructure that have been provided for students, the efforts made by the school so that students are interested in using the facilities and infrastructure provided, and the efforts made by the school principal to continue providing facilities and infrastructure in schools. This research method uses a qualitative research approach through research processes such as observation, interviews, literature and documentation. The results of the research show that the UPT SD Negeri 060806 school has implemented the required facilities and infrastructure provided by the school itself and was well received by all students and educators at the school so that the learning process carried out can be helped by the existence of this special service. creating a productive learning atmosphere to produce outstanding students to continue to improve the quality of national education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam penerapan pendidikan inklusif di MTs Darul Ulum Budi Agung Medan. Fokus penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan kepala madrasah bersama guru dalam mengembangkan layanan pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari kepala madrasah serta dua orang guru yang terlibat langsung dalam layanan pendidikan inklusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah berperan dalam menyusun program kerja, memberikan motivasi, melakukan pengawasan langsung, mendukung kegiatan akademik maupun non-akademik, serta melaksanakan evaluasi melalui rapat rutin dan laporan wali kelas. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas, minimnya pelatihan guru, dan belum adanya program khusus dari Kementerian Agama. Namun, kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang bersifat transformasional mampu menjaga komitmen guru untuk tetap melayani siswa inklusif secara optimal.
