Abstract

It takes people who have an understanding of education to manage education. The educational process cannot be separated from human resource development. Education is an indicator of someone's quality. Apart from that, the media has an important role in education. The process of conveying a message from the message source to the message recipient through certain media is called communication, and occurs during the teaching and learning process. There are four main objectives of learning media, namely cognitive, emotive, attentional and compensatory. To improve learning outcomes and efficiency, educational media can also help in fostering relationships between teachers and students. The aim of this research is to describe how important it is for teachers to use learning media in mathematics. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research results show that it will be easier for teachers to teach and learn if they use learning media.

Abstract

Pendidikan kewarganegaraan mengajarkan siswa untuk mengetahui segala hal yang mencakup akan dirinya dan juga negaranya. Pada akhirnya, siswa akan diminta untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai dari mata pelajaran ini. Dengan mengimplementasikan pancasila di kehidupan sehari-hari maka siswa berarti telah menunjukan identitas bangsa negaranya. Namun dalam hal ini, upaya untuk menerapkan PKn di kehidupan sehari-hari bukanlah hal yang mudah, oleh karena itu perlu bagi tenaga didik untuk menyiapkan desain pembelajaran PKn agar para siswa menikmati pelajaran tersebut dan memudahkan mereka untuk menerapkan kandungan dari nilai-nilai mata pelajaran PKn.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah studi literatur. Dimana peneliti menganalisis sejumlah jurnal maupun artikel dari penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui jejak online dengan mencari jurnal dan artikel melalui google schoolar Hasil analisis dari berbagai jurnal yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa mendesain model dan media pembelajaran perlu dilakukan oleh seorang guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar khususnya pada pembelajaran PKn.

Abstract

The background of this research is that children do not like social studies lessons and children feelbored with the material. This research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in dimensions and structure material through the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 05 Sungai betel nut. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles and 4 stages consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. the subject of this study was the fifth children of SD Negeri 05 Sungai Pinang, data collection techniques used observation and assignments in the core activities, to obtain information about students' activeness in participating in the teaching and learning process and seeing social studies learning outcomes in material dimensions and structure. Social studies learning outcomes on dimensions and structure are said to have increased. It can be seen from the results of cycle II that there was an increase of 86, 66 %. This increase is due to changes in the use of learning models that are by the conditions of students so that students more easily understand the material and learn more actively in collaboration. As well as increasing the sense of responsibility in carrying out the task.

Abstract

This article describes the literacy program for elementary school students through observation visits. Elementary school was chosen as a means of instilling literacy because it is hoped that by habituating literacy from an early age, students can acquire literacy habits as a provision for the future. The purpose of this study is to find out the process of literacy programs in elementary schools. Research is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects involved in this study were school principals, teachers, students and the community at SDKampar. Collecting data in the study was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the research analysis show that literacy activities are carried out by inviting students to take part in the school literacy program where all of these activities have been well attended by students even though there are some obstacles in them. There are many government policies implemented in elementary schools regarding literacy. The government is aware of the importance of literacy for elementary school students. Literacy isconsidered important because literacy will open wider insights and knowledge.

Abstract
