Abstract

One of the characteristics of 21st century teachers is having ICT skills that can be used in the learning process. Therefore, in this community service, the PKM team held training on making online quizzes for teachers in the UM Labschool in Blitar City. The purpose of this service is that teachers have insight and skills about developing test instruments, and are skilled at using online applications, namely Google Form, Quizizz, and Plickers that can support the learning process. The method of implementing this service activity is carried out by lectures, demonstrations and practices, giving assignments, discussions, and presentations. 17 paticipans have attended the training with discipline and order. The results of community service showed that all participants were able to develop good test instruments and were accompanied by the selected online quiz link. It showed that there was an increase in participants' understanding before and after participating in this training activity. This activity makes a meaningful contribution to partners in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic which requires distance learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan saat ini menjadi kendala bagi guru terutama oleh guru Madrasah di Kecamatan Sumenep. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi yaitu guru kerepotan dalam mengelola file tugas siswa yang selama ini proses pembelajarannya hanya menggunakan Whatsapp. Kendala tersebut merupakan tantangan yang perlu dihadapi oleh guru di masa pandemic ini. Tujuan diadakannya pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan bagaimana menggunakan LMS Edmodo dan melatih guru menggunakan Edmodo untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah (1) ceramah, tanya jawab, dan diskusi yang digunakan untuk memberikan informasi dan penyampaian konsep-konsep penting yang berkaitan dengan LMS Edmodo, (2) pendampingan selama peserta praktek memanfaatkan Edmodo, (3) evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan ini. Hasil yang dicapai adalah 94% dari seluruh peserta mampu mengelola LMS Edmodo mulai dari memiliki akun, melengkapi profil pada akun Edmodo, dan memberikan instruksi aktivitas belajar utnuk siswa.

Abstract

Abstract — The need for information is a primary need for every human being. There is no exception for the need for information regarding the world of education, especially the Tadris Matematika study program. This study aims to determine the needs analysis of the information display requirements needed. The subjects of this study consisted of lecturers, students, and alumni of the Tadris Matematika study program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature studies and interviews with all lecturer and student of Tadris Mathematika. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that it is necessary to develop a website that has the latest information, content, and an attractive appearance.Keywords— Analysis, Information, Website Abstrak — Kebutuhan informasi merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi setiap manusia. Tidak terkecuali kebutuhan informasi mengenai dunia Pendidikan khususnya program studi Tadris Matematika. Abstract

One of the demands of a professional teacher is being able to make quality questions. Item analysis is one way to obtain quality questions. Therefore, in this community service, the PKM team conducted an item analysis training held at Campus 3 of Malang State University in Blitar City, which was attended by 19 teacher participants from three sub-district representatives in Blitar City. The purpose of this dedication is to: (1) increase the awareness of teachers the importance of analyzing items, (2) provide insight about compiling good instruments and analyze items so that they get quality instruments, (3) assist to teachers in analyzing items using ITEMAN, Anates, and Excel. The method of carrying out this dedication activity is carried out with lectures, demonstrations, and practices, assignments, discussions, and presentations. The training was held for four days and was attended by all participants in a disciplined and orderly manner. PKM results show that all participants were able to (1) compile a good test instrument, (2) understand the importance of analyzing items, (3) analyze items using software using ITEMAN, Anates, and Excel.

Abstract

Sebagai negara yang kaya akan keberagaman, sudah semestinya kearifan lokal mendapat perhatian khusus untuk ditanamkan pada masyarakatnya. Dalam dunia pendidikan kearifan lokal dapat dikemas dalam mata pelajaran muatan lokal. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SD Laboratorium UM Kota Blitar dalam penyusunan silabus muatan lokal berbasis kearifan lokal. Pengabdian ini berlangsung selama 3 hari dengan melibatkan 13 guru kelas sebagai peserta. Tahapan pelaksanaannya meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi lembar wawancara, observasi, tes, dan kuesioner. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun silabus muatan lokal berbasis kearifan lokal sudah memadai. Abstract

Mathematics learning needs to be designed into attractive learning so that students can be motivated to learn and improve mathematics achievement. LKPD with Ethno-STEM learning approach becomes an alternative media that attracts students. This study aims to analyze the results of students' attractiveness responses to the use of Ethno-STEM based geometry transformation material LKPD. The data collection technique uses an interest questionnaire, then supported by student interviews. The study showed that the students' response to the use of geometry transformation material LKPD based on Ethno-STEM obtained an average score of 86.0% with the qualification “very attractive”. The assessment is based on the components of the attractiveness of the cover, content, images/illustrations, math material, learning related to local culture, and learning related to STEM elements. Ethno-STEM-based geometry transformation LKPD has a very attractiveness response from its users. For further research, it is recommended to test the effectiveness of geometry transformation material LKPD based on Ethno-STEM.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mendalam menjadi konsentrasi utama di sekolah saat ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan terhadap 40 guru LP Ma’arif Kota Malang yang terdiri dari 22 sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode CBR (Community-Based Research). CBR merupakan pendekatan kolaboratif untuk menjawab kebutuhan melalui metode ilmiah yang inklusif, partisipatif, serta transformatif. Pengukuran peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran mendalam dilaksanakan di awal sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan melalui kuesioner dengan aspek pemahaman pembelajaran, penilaian, dan pemanfatan media dalam pembelajaran. Analisis dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan guru menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dengan aspek media pembelajaran 86.67% menjadi 88.33%, aspek asesmen 77.33% menjadi 83.89%, serta aspek pembelajaran 64.44% menjadi 80.67%. Hasil ini sejalan dengan perubahan proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung pada saat observasi pasca pelatihan. Guru lebih siap dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mendalam, mulai dari perangkat pembelajaran serta terlihat proses berlangsung sesuai kereangka kerja pembelajaran mendalam meskipun belum 100%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan efektif dan diharapkan dapat dilaksankaan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan semacam ini perlu dilakukan dan direncanakan dengan berkolaborasi dengan dinas pendidikan maupun kerjasama dengan perguruan tinggi agar peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam menjamin kualitas pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Training on Implementing In-Depth Learning for Teachers at LP Ma'arif Malang City Abstract Deep learning is currently a major focus in schools to improve the quality of learning. Community service activities were carried out with 40 teachers from 22 schools at the Ma'arif Islamic Junior High School in Malang City. The community service activities were implemented using the CBR (Community-Based Research) method. CBR is a collaborative approach to address needs through inclusive, participatory, and transformative scientific methods. Measurements of teachers' understanding of deep learning were carried out before and after the training through questionnaires covering aspects of learning understanding, assessment, and media utilization in learning. Analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. The results of the teacher training activities showed an increase in understanding of the learning media aspect from 86.67% to 88.33%, the assessment aspect from 77.33% to 83.89%, and the learning aspect from 64.44% to 80.67%. These results are in line with changes in the learning process that took place during post-training observations. Teachers are better prepared to implement deep learning, starting from the learning tools and the process appears to be taking place according to the deep learning framework, although not yet 100%. It can be concluded that the training activities were effective and are expected to be implemented in classroom learning. Such activities need to be implemented and planned in collaboration with the education office and universities to improve teacher capacity in ensuring the quality of learning.
