Abstract

Naturalist and kinestetic Intelligence in Early childhood become the main parameters in the stages of growth and development. This Intelligence becomes a strong foundation in the future in achieving self-success in the industrial era 4.0. In guarding the growth and development of early childhood, Sekolah Alam was an solutions to prpare for the golden generation in the future. Program evaluation carried out with the CIPP (Context Input Process Poduct) model approach aim to measures the achievement of the implementation of the organizing and outcome program for the students. The result showed that the implementation of the program was in the very good category 88,9% and outcome 87,5% student achievied the curriculum target, so it can be concluded that the Sekolah Alam curriculum was succesfully implemented to build the naturalist and kinesthetic intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine strategies and media bases in learning English-Listening Comprehension skills. The two strategies that are the subject of discussion are the Audio-Visual Media-based Strategy and the Interactive-Audio Strategy. Quantitative research was carried out by surveying the object of research and strengthened by interviews with several respondents at random to ensure that all respondents had received learning with two strategies. The object of this research is the students of the English Education Department at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. All respondents in this survey are 34 respondents. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner to interpret the percentage of the implementation of learning in the two strategies. The results showed that the Audio-Visual Strategy had a percentage point interval of 76.92%, which indicated that this strategy was in the "Good" category. While the Interactive-Audio Strategy has a percentage point interval of 50.48%, which indicates that this strategy is in the “Enough” category. From these results, it can be concluded that the Audio-Visual strategy provides maximum results when applied in Listening Comprehension Skill learning so that the Audio-Visual strategy is more effective

Abstract

Students must have various abilities, one of which is critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is an ability that is an indicator of successful learning and is directly related to real life. Should carry out the development of critical thinking skills effectively and efficiently in education. Critical thinking skills of students, accurate measurement tools are needed. The measuring instrument is in the form of a test instrument developed through research. Conduct the researched with a quantitative approach by describing the characteristics of the critical thinking test instrument. The research method was the development of a test with the research subjects of class X MIPA students from seven public high schools in Kendal Regency with the criteria of high, medium, and low ranking schools. Developed the test in the form of multiple-choice reasoned with three scoring categories for each item according to the scoring of the polytomous items in the PCM 1-PL model (Partial Credit Model 1 Parameter Logistic). The feasibility test of the critical thinking test instrument was carried out with experts in measurement, assessment, and Biology Learning and was tested empirically on 1118 students. The research data were analyzed using the EXCEL, SPSS 16, QUEST and PARSCALE applications. The results showed that: (1) The test instrument with four categories of scores fit the PCM 1-PL model; (2) the test instrument has a high-reliability value; (3) The test instrument has a right level of difficulty; (4) The test instrument can be used to measure the ability of students in the range of -3.7 to 2.9. The test instrument developed was feasible to be used to measure students' critical thinking skills with three categories of polytomous scoring with the PCM 1-PL model.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 is currently still volatile. Large-scale restrictions stop activities outside the home that have a broad impact on life, including the field of education. Learning activities transition into online learning at home. Changes due to this condition pose challenges as well as opportunities for students and educators. The purpose of this study is to explore information on challenges and opportunities in online learning so that the results of this study can provide policy recommendations in the implementation of learning in the following semester. This survey research was conducted by distributing questionnaires (google forms) related to the challenges and learning opportunities for the second-semester students of the 2019 batch of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang. The results obtained indicate that elements of student dissatisfaction dominate each aspect of the majority during online learning. The conclusion obtained from this research is that online learning has obstacles to be transformed into opportunities as an alternative problem solving to the stability of the quality of Education.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the implementation of learning. Research that explores the implementation of distance learning assessments during the pandemic is carried out using a mix-method approach. This approach is used to explore quantitative and qualitative information in depth. Quantitative data were obtained by surveying the teachers of SD N 2 Ngijo and SD Integrative Islamic Pesantren Rakyat. Qualitative data were obtained by field study and interviews with school administrators (principals and teachers) and parents of students. The results showed that based on the aspects of Online Assessment Implementation, Assessment Principles, and Reliability of the assessment instruments used in distance learning assessments, the score was more than 60%. This percentage is in the excellent category for the implementation of distance learning assessment. However, in reality, many factors have a significant influence on the implementation of distance learning assessments. Economic factors are the main factors in providing supporting facilities and infrastructure in carrying out distance learning assessments that do not take place according to concepts and theories.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan saat ini menjadi kendala bagi guru terutama oleh guru Madrasah di Kecamatan Sumenep. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi yaitu guru kerepotan dalam mengelola file tugas siswa yang selama ini proses pembelajarannya hanya menggunakan Whatsapp. Kendala tersebut merupakan tantangan yang perlu dihadapi oleh guru di masa pandemic ini. Tujuan diadakannya pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan bagaimana menggunakan LMS Edmodo dan melatih guru menggunakan Edmodo untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah (1) ceramah, tanya jawab, dan diskusi yang digunakan untuk memberikan informasi dan penyampaian konsep-konsep penting yang berkaitan dengan LMS Edmodo, (2) pendampingan selama peserta praktek memanfaatkan Edmodo, (3) evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan ini. Hasil yang dicapai adalah 94% dari seluruh peserta mampu mengelola LMS Edmodo mulai dari memiliki akun, melengkapi profil pada akun Edmodo, dan memberikan instruksi aktivitas belajar utnuk siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi teorema pythagoras dengan menggunakan tahapan-tahapan yang terstruktur dan sistematis yakni dengan melakukan strategi pembelajaran heuristik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan berkolaborasi dengan guru. Desain PTK yang digunakan adalah model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. PTK dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VIII C SMP Unggulan Al-Yasini Pasuruan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan melihat presentase capaian hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus pertama diperoleh gambaran kemampuan siswa, namun hal tersebut belum memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal yang sudah ditetapkan. Sehingga implementasi tindakan dilakukan berdasarkan refleksi siklus 1. Pada siklus ke dua terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan. Hasil belajar pada siklus 1 diperoleh rata-rata 78,75, kemudian meningkat pada siklus 2 dengan rata-rata 85,67 sehingga perbedaan signifikan dari kedua siklus adalah 14,3%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tindakan yag diterapkan dinyatakan berhasil dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a profile of the mathematicalunderstanding ability of class XI students on story problems in ArithmeticSequences and Series material. Qualitative research methods were used in thisstudy, with descriptive analysis techniques. The research was conducted at SMAN1 Rogojampi with 38 class XI students as the research subjects. The researchinstrument is a test to analyze comprehension skills and interview guidelines.Several stages of research are planning, implementation and observation. Then,explore students' mathematical understanding abilities by using 4 test items. Afterthat interviews were conducted with students. The results in this study stated thatthe level of students' mathematical understanding ability was classified as in themedium category. It could be seen that overall students were still lacking inunderstanding the concept of the material so they could not use the formulacorrectly when answering the questions given.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan kondisi kekurangan gizi yang diakibatkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang. Stunting menyebabkan gangguan perkembangan motorik dan verbal sehingga dapat berdampak pada penurunan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Desa Jombok merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi tempat pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Diketahui bahwa prevalensi kejadian stunting di Desa Jombok tinggi, yaitu sebanyak 40% anak di Desa Jombok mengalami stunting. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dalam upaya mengurangi angka kejadian stunting berupa program penyuluhan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) pada anak-anak di Desa Jombok. Penyuluhan dilakukan kepada siswa-siswi kelas satu hingga kelas enam SD Negeri 4 jombok. Metode yang digunakan berupa (1) Observasi (2) Pelaksanaan Kegiatan (3) Evaluasi Kegiatan. Observasi dilakukan dengan melakukan kajian mengenai pola hidup bersih dan sehat siswa di SD Negeri 4 jombok. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan penjelasan pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, demo cara mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi disertai lagu tahapan-tahapan praktiknya,  dan praktik mencuci tangan dan menggosok gigi oleh siswa. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan pemberian kuis mengenai pengetahuan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, cara menggosok gigi dengan tepat, dan cara mencuci tangan dengan benar. Setelah kegiatan dilakukan, diharapkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Jombok terhadap kebersihan meningkat sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi angka kejadian stunting.
