Abstract

This study evaluates the Wirid Youth Program implemented at SMAN 2 Lengayang in Pesisir Selatan Regency, aimed at reducing juvenile delinquency and shaping student character. This study adopts a quantitative research paradigm. The evaluation employed the CIPO method (Context, Input, Process, Output) through surveys and interviews with randomly selected participants. The validity of questionnaire items was tested using the Pearson Product Moment formula. The data analysis technique with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that all program components context, input, process, and output are rated highly. The program effectively addresses teenagers' needs and challenges, provides accessible locations and satisfactory facilities, and is smoothly coordinated. As a result, there is increased teenage participation, enhanced religious knowledge, and positive behavioral changes. The program has met its objectives and positively impacted the participants. This evaluation underscores the program’s success and offers insights for future improvements and program development.

Abstract

The development and success of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are highly dependent on accessible and suitable financing options. This article provides an in-depth review of various SME financing sources, examining the benefits, drawbacks, and impacts of each option, including fintech lending, traditional bank financing, and venture capital. The findings offer a systematic understanding of SME finance dynamics. Results indicate that while venture capital can accelerate growth, it often raises challenges related to sustainability and governance. In contrast, bank financing provides stability but is hindered by high interest rates and complex bureaucratic processes. Fintech financing offers rapid access and ease but comes with heightened security and risk assessment concerns. The study suggests that SMEs should align funding choices with their unique needs and characteristics. Additionally, regulators and stakeholders are encouraged to increase their knowledge and safeguards in response to the expanding fintech lending market. Future research could explore innovative, eco-friendly financing solutions to meet SMEs' evolving needs. Abstract

This research investigates the organizational structure and effectiveness of management at Koperasi Pembangunan Usaha Sumatera Barat, utilizing qualitative methods such as observations and interviews. The cooperative's hierarchical framework, which encompasses the General Assembly, managers, and staff, ensures efficient decision-making and consistent implementation of policies. With an experienced manager at the helm, the cooperative places great emphasis on cooperative education and character development, cultivating a culture of honesty and integrity that is crucial for long-term sustainability. The cooperative upholds familial principles and promotes mutual trust, employing a selective recruitment process to ensure alignment with its core values. The cooperative's empathetic approach to problem-solving, which includes pawn systems, collateral sales, and deadline extensions, highlights its ability to handle challenges with compassion. Financial management practices, such as employing professional accounting services and providing quarterly financial reports, guarantee transparency and accountability. Furthermore, the distribution of 40% of profits through the Surplus of Cooperative Efforts (SHU) demonstrates a commitment to fairness and the collective well-being of its members. The study concludes that the cooperative's well-defined organizational structure significantly enhances the effectiveness of its management. The hierarchical organization facilitates transparent operations, while leadership driven by values fosters a cohesive and sustainable culture. These findings hold valuable insights for other cooperatives seeking to enhance their management effectiveness through structured organization and value-based practices.

Abstract

The relevance of development that is focused on both environmental sustainability and economic improvement is shown by the current global economic boom. With an emphasis on green skills development, green human resource management (GHRM), and its effects on environmental sustainability, this article provides a thorough overview of the role that human capital plays in assisting workforce transformation towards a green economy. This study examined 20 pertinent articles out of 1,760 that were found in the Semantic Scholar and Scopus databases using the PRISMA approach. The findings demonstrate that the adoption of green technology, particularly in the fields of sustainable industry and renewable energy, depends on the development of green human capital. To speed up the development of green talents, cooperation between the government, business community, and academic institutions is also required. The study also identifies significant prospects for job creation and environmental impact reduction, as well as obstacles to the green economy's implementation, such as structural impediments and skills gaps. The article's conclusion is that significant investments in education and training, along with policies that promote sustainability and worker well-being, are necessary to shift the workforce toward a green economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cooperative learning models with Group Investigation techniques in learning economics. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various relevant previous studies. The results showed that the Cooperative Learning Model of Group Investigation technique can improve student learning outcomes in economic learning. The conclusion of this study suggests the application of the Group Investigation technique in learning economics to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness and impact of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on economics education. The research method used in this article is a literature review. This review aims to analyze and summarize the findings of previous studies, as well as relevant theories related to the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in economics education. This approach was chosen to gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness, potential, and challenges of the TGT model in improving learning outcomes, motivation, and critical thinking skills in economics education. Data collection was carried out by identifying and gathering journal articles, books, research reports, and other academic sources related to the application of the TGT learning model. This study shows that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model positively impacts economics education at the secondary school level by enhancing student motivation, engagement, and understanding of economic concepts through an enjoyable collaborative approach, while also supporting the development of social skills such as teamwork, communication, and responsibility. This fills the gap in previous research and provides practical guidance for teachers to implement TGT as an interactive and student-centered alternative methods.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the large number of reports from tourists regarding the rampant acts of extortion and disrespectful attitudes carried out by local residents who work as parking attendants, traders, and so on. This became increasingly serious when this discomfort surfaced on social media and went viral, resulting in tourists thinking twice about visiting Carocok Beach in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province. If this is not addressed seriously, the impact will be felt by the regional government, local communities and traders, of course. However, efforts have been made to create comfort for tourists visiting Carokok Beach. This research uses qualitative methods accompanied by direct observations and interviews with parties who are considered capable of answering the problems in this paper. The results of this research show that: first, local people always try to be friendly towards tourists who visit Carocok Pesisir Selatan Beach, second, local people and local youth organizations investigate parties who commit extortion against tourists, third, local people maintain cleanliness tourist environment, fourth, do not increase car and motorbike parking fees arbitrarily, fifth, urge traders to be polite to tourists who shop, sixth, do not increase merchandise prices beyond the limit, seventh, ensure security for tourists by preparing security forces both from the Government and from the local community.
