Abstract

Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago has been ongoing for centuries. Islam emerged as an influential force in the history of the archipelago. The entry of Islam into Indonesia, a country diverse in culture, led to culture and religion being closely linked. In the Angkola Batak tradition, ancestors' teachings remained embedded in everyday life until after the arrival of Islam, when acculturation and interrelationships took place between Islamic culture and religion. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a library research approach focusing on the acculturation of Sinamot (dowry) culture in the Batak Angkola community of South Tapanuli. The study findings cover three aspects of the topic. First, the social condition of the Angkola Batak community, which adheres to the dalihan na tolu social structure as a benchmark for communicating, acting, and resolving social problems. Second, the interrelationship between customs and Islam in the Sinamot tradition (one of the series in Angkola Batak marriages) in determining the amount of Sinamot is attended by the nuclear family from both parties to resolve the specified amount. Finally, it was discovered that there were changes in the banquets in the deliberation, such as abandoning forms prohibited in Islamic teachings, such as those involving the consumption of pork and palm wine, and also changes in the Sinamot tradition in the marriages of the Angkola Batak community due to several factors, including changes resulting from the move from traditional to modern times, and the wishes of the Batak Angkola community to familiarise themselves with and keep up with the times. The introduction of Islam provided a systematic and logical variation, allowing society to easily accept it at wedding ceremonies.

Abstract

Buya Hamka's Tafsir Al-Azhar is one of the important intellectual legacies in the study of Indonesian tafsir in the 20th century. This interpretation was compiled by the Indonesian cleric and scholar, Buya Hamka, who is not only known as a mufassir, but also a writer, thinker and public figure. Tafsir Al-Azhar offers a classical Islamic scientific approach, modern thought, and the socio-cultural context of Indonesian society. Hamka uses a simple language style, logical arguments, and emphasizes universal Islamic values, such as justice, humanity, and moderation. This interpretation also reflects the spirit of Islamic reform, an effort to respond to the challenges of the times, and voices the relevance of the Al-Qur'an in everyday life. In the study of Indonesian tafsir, Tafsir Al-Azhar is an important reference that represents thematic and contextual styles of interpretation, making it relevant for modern readers today.

Abstract

This research focuses on the phenomenon marriage is scary that has become a phenomenon in Indonesia. Indonesian statistics show that the marriage rate is decreasing, and the divorce rate is increasing every year.  It was found that as many as 397 Muslims in Indonesia experienced marriage is scar. This may be one of the causes of the declining marriage rate every year.  This study aims to determine and analyze the causes of marriage is scary and explore the efforts made in the internal and external environment. This study is a qualitative research, primary data comes from respondents who experience marriage is scary, parents, traditional leaders and religious leaders, totaling 20 people. The findings of this study indicate that first, the causes of marriage is scary in Indonesian Muslim communities are economic factors (31.99%), customs and culture (15.62%), social media (6.8%), domestic violence (15.60%), social media (6.85) and other reasons (11.44%); Second, the efforts made to minimize the occurrence of marriage is scary in Indonesia are approaches and open communication with families, providing religious strengthening and understanding of marriage and strengthening local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini beranjak dari permasalahan rendahnya capaian belajar yang teridentifikasi pada peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SDN 015 Samarinda Ulu pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi “Bumiku Tersayang.” Penelitian ini menerapkan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimen tipe nonequivalent control group. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok belajar sebagai subjek, yaitu satu kelas yang ditetapkan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol, di mana masing-masing kelas beranggotakan 20 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes (pretest dan posttest), serta dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa soal pilihan ganda dan lembar observasi aktivitas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji T-Test sampel independen untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,001. Nilai ini berada di bawah ambang batas 0,05, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL ini memberikan dampak positif yang sangat signifikan pada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Terbukti bahwa model ini memiliki kapabilitas untuk meningkatkan tingkat penguasaan materi oleh peserta didik.
