Abstract

Cognitive development in early childhood is an important focus in education, with the fast outbound game of catching the ball recognized as an effective method in supporting children's holistic development. The research method used is qualitative research. This research aims to explore the role of these games in developing the cognitive skills of early childhood at RA Tadika Adnani. With a qualitative approach and case study design, data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation analysis. Results show challenges in child engagement, emotional responses to challenges, lack of social interaction, and constraints in cognitive abilities. Adjustments are needed in the delivery of game rules, a supportive environment, increased involvement, positive emotional responses, and good social interactions. Continuous evaluation and collaboration between teachers and parents are important in supporting children's holistic development.

Abstract

Rosila, NIM: 20030033, "Early Childhood Social Emotional Development Through the Singing Method in Raudhatul Athfal Roihanul Jannah." This research aims to analyze the social emotional development of early childhood through the singing method. Social emotional development is an important aspect in early childhood education, which is characterized by the ability to interact, socialize and be responsible. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects being teachers and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the singing method is effective in improving children's social emotional development. Children learn to interact with peers, express emotions, and build self-confidence. This research is in line with Erikson's theory which emphasizes the importance of social interaction in child development. The steps in the singing method include selecting an appropriate song, using a tone that is easy to understand, introducing the song, and joint demonstration. Singing activities involve physical activity which makes learning more fun and interactive. This conclusion shows that the singing method is not only fun, but also contributes positively to the social emotional development of early childhood at RA Roihanul Jannah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the Talaqqi method in memorizing short surahs in early childhood at RA Al-junaidiyah Kampung Lama. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method (field research), which includes data collection carried out by direct observation. The results of this research are (1) Implementation of the Talaqqi method in memorizing short surahs in early childhood. Where teachers at RA Al-junaidiyah have implemented the Talaqqi method well (2) Children's ability to memorize short surahs in early childhood. The ability of children to memorize short surahs in RA Al-junaidiyah varies, with some children being fast at memorizing, some being moderate and some being slow. The subjects for memorizing this short surah were 23 students from the rose class. There are 8 children who are developing very well, 14 children are developing according to expectations, while 2 children are starting to develop. (3) The supporting factors in implementing the Talaqqi method are health factors, intelligence factors and motivation factors. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in implementing the Talaqqi method are the child's lack of patience, the child's lack of seriousness and the child's lack of focus in memorizing.

Abstract

Name: Trini Dama Yanti. Student ID: 20030041. This thesis discusses the analysis of singing methods in early childhood language development at RA As-Syarif, Sibanggor Jae village. The research aims to determine (1) the language development of early childhood at RA As-Syarif and (2) the effectiveness of the singing method in supporting language development. This qualitative study employs a descriptive approach, describing data processing results through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate significant progress in children's language development at RA As-Syarif, particularly in symbolic and complex language use. The singing method has proven effective in enhancing vocabulary, speaking skills, and children's confidence. This research concludes that the singing method creates a fun learning environment that supports early childhood language development.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of Iqro’ block educational tools to introduce Hijaiyah letters to children at Raudhatul Athfal Al-Hilal Atar. The research aims to determine the use of Iqro’ blocks in teaching Hijaiyah letters, evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing children's recognition of these letters, and assess their practicality in the learning process. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, this study comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the Iqro’ blocks significantly improve children's ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters through interactive and enjoyable learning methods. The validation from experts indicated that the educational tool is highly feasible, achieving an average score of 4.76. Teachers also noted increased engagement and motivation among students during lessons utilizing the Iqro’ blocks. This research underscores the importance of using innovative educational tools in early childhood education to enhance the learning experience and improve literacy skills.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop the Box Magic Alphabet Educational Game Tool, understand the characteristics, test practicality, ensure effectiveness and describe the difficulties experienced by students and educators in using the Box Magic Alphabet Educational Game Tool. The method used is Research and Development research using the ADDIE development model. The results of this research are: (1) The Box Magic Alphabet Educational Game Tool Development Process was developed using the ADDIE model. Based on the results of the Box Magic Alphabet product assessment instrument, it is said to be very good as a learning medium for students to recognize letters. The Box Magic Alphabet product that was developed also produced a guidebook created to make it easier for teachers in the process of making and using the Box Magic Alphabet. (2) Characteristics of the Magic Alphabet Box Educational Game Tool which has the characteristics of being simple, interesting, fun, durable and long-lasting, easy to use and can improve aspects of student development. (3) The effectiveness of the Box Magic Alphabet educational game tool in introducing letters to early childhood as an effective learning medium. This is because the existence of educational game tools can make it easier for teachers to convey information through the media provided, with a percentage value reaching 92% and is considered very valid. (4) The practicality of the Magic Alphabet Box Educational Game Tool in introducing letters to young children can be seen from its simple use, it does not confuse children and is also easy for teachers to practice, with a percentage score of 96% and is considered very valid.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of illocutionary acts and the dominant illocutionary acts used in the speech. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through transcription and analyzed using data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data were classified into multiple categories based on the concepts outlined in John R. Searle's theory. Only one speech by Leen Alkassab, delivered at the graduation ceremony for ambassador doctors at Harvard Medical School in the United States, was used as the data source for this research. The findings indicate two illocutionary acts: assertive, and expressive. Assertive acts were the most dominant found in the speech, with 22 occurrences, most of which involved stating functions. Expressive acts were found in 13 cases, with the illocutionary functions of gratitude and thanks being the most common. Directive and commissive acts were the least frequent, while declarative acts were not found in the speech, as they require specific conditions for declarative utterance to occur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur pengembangan penelitian R&D yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall menurut Sugiyono yang meliputi 10 langkah yaitu analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, refisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi pemakaian, Produk Masal, dan Implementasi. Analisis menunjukkan kurangnya ketertarikan anak terhadap tari, terutama di era digital yang lebih mempopulerkan hiburan modern. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Panduan Tari Rindu Muhammad dirancang khusus untuk anak usia dini di RA Darussalam Kota Siantar, mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Mandailing untuk memperkenalkan dan melestarikan budaya tari di kalangan generasi muda. Validasi desain panduan dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil dari ahli media menunjukkan persentase kevalidan sebesar 85,71%, menandakan bahwa media audio visual tersebut valid dan efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat anak. Validasi oleh ahli materi menghasilkan persentase 75,38%, menegaskan materi video untuk pembelajaran. Uji coba panduan di RA Darussalam menunjukkan efektivitas materi; anak-anak antusias dan cepat memahami gerakan, sementara pengajar menemukan panduan jelas dan mudah dipahami. Setelah revisi pemakaian, uji coba ulang dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas perbaikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan anak-anak yang menikmati aktivitas interaktif dan memberikan umpan balik positif. Implementasi panduan di RA Darussalam menghasilkan nilai 92,85% dari guru, menandakan efektivitas tinggi dalam pembelajaran dan harapan untuk memperkenalkan budaya lokal Mandailing kepada anak-anak
