Abstract

Suci Nopida (20120034) studied the influence of infrastructure on the smoothness of the teaching and learning process at MA Darul Ikhlas, Dalan Lidang, Panyabungan District. This research aims to answer three problem formulations: 1) Is there an influence of infrastructure on the smoothness of teaching and learning? 2) What is the condition of the infrastructure at MA Darul Ikhlas? 3) What are the factors that influence the smoothness of the teaching and learning process?. The research method used was a mixed method with a stratified proportional random sampling technique, involving 252 students. The use of a Likert scale-based questionnaire produced 23 valid statements for infrastructure and 22 for the smoothness of the teaching and learning process. The research results show that the infrastructure at MA Darul Ikhlas is not yet complete, with deficiencies such as laboratory equipment and projectors. Three factors that influence the teaching and learning process are infrastructure, teacher professionalism, and student interest in learning. The influence of infrastructure on the smoothness of the teaching and learning process is 44.5%. Hypothesis testing shows significance, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between infrastructure and the smoothness of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of Iqro’ block educational tools to introduce Hijaiyah letters to children at Raudhatul Athfal Al-Hilal Atar. The research aims to determine the use of Iqro’ blocks in teaching Hijaiyah letters, evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing children's recognition of these letters, and assess their practicality in the learning process. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, this study comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the Iqro’ blocks significantly improve children's ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters through interactive and enjoyable learning methods. The validation from experts indicated that the educational tool is highly feasible, achieving an average score of 4.76. Teachers also noted increased engagement and motivation among students during lessons utilizing the Iqro’ blocks. This research underscores the importance of using innovative educational tools in early childhood education to enhance the learning experience and improve literacy skills.

Abstract

Peran tata usaha sekolah berfungsi sebagai pendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah agar berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan apa yang telah direncanakan. Adapun Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengetahui manajemen tata usaha di MTs Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal. 2) Mengetahui layanan administrasi di MTs Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal. 3) Mengetahui manajemen tata usaha dalam meningkatkan kualitas Pelayanan adsminitrasi di MTs Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun tenik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber data primernya yaitu kepala madrasah, kepala tata usaha, staff tata usaha. Adapun sumber sekundernya ialah melalui dokumen, wawancara dan foto. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan menghasilkan data berupa kata-kata tertulis, ungkapan lisan dari narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukksn bahwa manajemen tata usaha di MTs Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal surdah berrjalan derngan baik, serperrti administrasi kerpergawaian, kurrikurlurm, kersiswaan, perrsurratan dan perngarsipan, sarana dan prasarana. Layanan administrasi di MTs Nergerri 4 Mandailing Natal sangat berrperran pernting urnturk kermajuran madrasah, karerna sertiap kergiatan di madrasah itur diaturr olerh ternaga administrasi. Dalam merningkatkan kuralitas perlayanannya serperrti perrgantian dalam jam perlajaran jika gurrurnya tidak hadir di dalam kerlas. Manajemen tata usaha dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan administrasi di MTs Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal. dimurlai dari proses perrerncanaan, pelaksanaan, pengarahan, pengendalian, dan evaluasi.

Abstract

This researcThis research aims to improve initial writing skills through the Drill method in class I of SD Negeri 111 Pidoli Dolok. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that was conducted. in two cycles. This cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research consisted of 15 students, 5 male students and 10 female students in class I of SD Negeri 111 Pidoli Dolok 2023/2024. Data collection tools in research. used observation and test sheets and for data analysis in this study used quantitative descriptives. The research results show that the learning process through the Drill method can improve students' initial writing skills by fulfilling the KKM. The improvement in initial writing skills can be seen from each cycle, in the pre-cycle the average score was 67, with learning completeness of 5 students (33.33%) after the researcher used the Drill method in cycle I, student achievement was still 60%, after repetition by continuing to stage II of cycle student achievement is said to be. increased with an average achievement of 85 with completeness. students is 100%. From these data it can be concluded that students' initial writing skills improved after researchers used the Driil method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan dan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor yang menjadi penentu  dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan. Sumber data digunakan adalah data primer diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, guru dan, peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku-buku. Teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji kredibilitas data. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan adalah menyusun perencanaan, melakukan seleksi, melakukan pembinaan Keempat, mengikuti lomba, dan evaluasi. Faktor penghambat  pendukung yang menjadi penentu peningkatan prestasi akademik peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan adalah faktor internal meliputi soliditas team, semangat untuk berprestasi, kinerja yang tinggi dan Ikhlas. Sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi soliditas wali murid, dukungan sekolah, networking dan sarana prasarana.

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the implementation of Islamic boarding school management in its efforts to develop the talents and interests of students, both in terms of methods and programs carried out by the Islamic boarding school. The approach to this research is qualitative with a case study type. Data and data sources were obtained from the research subjects, namely the Al-Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School, Padang Lawas, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews with the leaders of the Islamic boarding school, teachers, and students. Direct observation of daily activities at the Islamic boarding school. And documentation of documents and physical evidence at the location. The method used by the Islamic boarding school as the result of the analysis to determine the talents and interests of students is through daily observation, extracurricular activities, interviews, and discussions, as seen from the involvement of students in external competitions. This method allows the Islamic boarding school to see and improve students' talents according to their skills. The programs show comprehensive and structured management implementation, such as extracurricular activities of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, calligraphy art, music art and various sports. In addition, this Islamic boarding school also routinely sends its students to participate in multiple national and international competitions, which have resulted in various achievements. These programs not only increase the skills and knowledge of students but also form strong characters and personalities by Islamic values. The Islamic boarding school also provides adequate facilities such as laboratories, art rooms, and fields that support activities as extracurricular activities. This study states that effective and innovative management is the primary key to developing the talents and interests of students. The originality of this Islamic boarding school management development research manages various innovative programs that include academic, religious, art, and sports activities and produces various achievements of students in multiple fields.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of the marsialapari tradition in Huta Padang Village, Mandailing Natal, and its impact on the character building of tolerance in the local community. The tradition of marsialapari, a typical practice of gotong royong in Mandailing and Angkola culture, continues to be preserved in this village even though the influence of modernization has eroded it in many other places. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that marsialapari not only plays a role in supporting agricultural activities, but also as an important mechanism in building and maintaining tolerance values among people of diverse religions. Through participation in this tradition, the people of Huta Padang Village develop mutual respect, openness and empathy, which characterize tolerant characters. This finding is reinforced by functionalism theory, which highlights the role of tradition in maintaining social stability, and social capital theory, which emphasizes the importance of consistent social interaction in strengthening social cohesion. Thus, this study reveals that marsialapari is not just a cultural heritage, but also a strategic tool to maintain social harmony in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Physics learning is often considered difficult and boring by students, which impacts their low learning motivation and active engagement in class. Students' communication skills and attitudes are important factors that can influence the success of physics learning. This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' communication skills and their attitudes toward physics learning at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Grade X. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research population consists of all Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok with a saturated sample of 30 students. The research instruments include a communication skills questionnaire (30 items) and an attitude toward physics learning questionnaire (24 items) using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation test with SPSS 17. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant and strong relationship between students' communication skills and their attitudes toward physics learning. Improvement in communication skills can contribute to the formation of positive attitudes among students in physics learning. This can be seen from the R Square value of 0.630, indicating that communication skills contribute 63% to students' attitudes in physics learning.
