Abstract

This study aims to analyze education financing strategies by using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by schools. The main strengths found are the existence of canteens and cooperatives as sources of internal income, the participation of employees and students in school financing, and support from committees, parents, and alumni. The weaknesses identified include limited human resources in managing financing, costs for competitions, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, as well as salaries for teachers and honorary staff. Opportunities that can be used include regular funds from the government and local governments as well as contributions from committees and alumni. The threats faced include delays in the procurement of the 2013 Curriculum books and dependence on the procurement of civil servants. The proposed way of solving the problem is through an alternative strategy designed based on a SWOT analysis. This strategy includes leveraging internal strengths and external opportunities to increase school revenues, improving internal weaknesses through better training and management, and addressing threats by seeking more independent and innovative alternative solutions. The results of the study show that with the right strategy, schools can improve the effectiveness of education financing, ensure optimal use of resources, and achieve desired educational goals. This research also highlights the importance of careful planning and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure sustainability and improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

The competitiveness of schools in coastal areas often face significant challenges due to geographical isolation, limited resources and environmental threats. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of strategies to improve the competitiveness of schools in coastal areas of Berau Regency. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research combines quantitative SWOT analysis with qualitative data from interviews, observations, and document review to provide a comprehensive understanding of the internal and external factors affecting school performance. The results show that schools have strengths such as strategic geographic accessibility, strong relationships with local communities, and effective use of technology. However, weaknesses such as inadequate facilities and limited professional development for teachers, coupled with threats such as environmental degradation and budget constraints, hinder their growth. Positioned in Quadrant I of the SWOT matrix, schools are in a favorable position to adopt growth-oriented strategies by leveraging their strengths to capitalize on opportunities. The study concludes that targeted interventions, such as expanding digital infrastructure and promoting ecosystem-based learning programs, are critical to enhancing competitiveness. These findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and educators to address challenges and optimize educational outcomes in similar coastal regions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of student satisfaction with the implementation of digital information systems through websites and Instagram at Senior High School 2 Berau and identify factors that contribute to student satisfaction or dissatisfaction. The method used was a quantitative survey with questionnaires distributed to 103 students from classes X and XI as respondents. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively to provide an overview of the students' level of satisfaction, as well as identify specific aspects that influence their perception of the school's information system. The findings showed that most respondents were satisfied with the information services provided by the school through the digital platform, with satisfaction levels reaching more than 98% in various aspects such as ease of access, flexibility of use, visual design, and responsiveness of social media admins. This indicates that the implemented digital information system has successfully met the needs of students in terms of accessing information that is fast, accurate, and easy to understand. The theoretical implications of this study support the literature that emphasizes the importance of technology integration in education to increase students' satisfaction and connectedness with school. Practically, the findings provide insights for other schools in optimizing the use of digital platforms as a means of communication and information delivery. However, this study has limitations in terms of respondent coverage which only includes one school, so further research with a wider coverage is needed to obtain more generalizable results.

Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan dalam dua ranah peran guru perempuan akan menambah beban pikiran yang berujung pada munculnya konflik peran ganda. Siklus peran ganda yang berulang memberikan perasaan kejenuhan bagi guru perempuan, terlebih bagi guru perempuan yang memiliki beban tanggungan anak dan yang harus mengerjakan sendiri pekerjaan rumah tangganya. Perasaan kejenuhan ini disebut dengan “Burnout Syndrome”. Variasi tekanan yang dialami guru perempuan menumbuhkan sikap Hardiness atau kekuatan dalam dalam diri.Melalui latar belakang tersebut pnelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh konflik peran ganda dan burnout sydrome terhadap kinerja guru perempuan baik secara langsung dan tidak langsung dengan hardines sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei eksplanasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana data yang diperoleh melalui kusioner akan dianalisa menggunakan rumus statistik untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah diuraikan. Tempat penelitian dilakukan pada SMA Negeri di Kawasan pesisir Kabupaten Berau. Pupulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru perempuan yang mengajar di SMA Negeri di Pesisir Kabupaten Berau yang terdiri dari 9 sekolah berjumlah 143 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling dengan metode Proportionate Random Sampling dan diambil dengan menggunakan rumus Solvin dengan hasil berjumlah 105 Guru perempuan. Alat bantu analisis data menggunakan SPSS dan Kalkulator Sobel untuk menguji variabel intervening. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil konflik peran ganda memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai sig. -0,272 dan Burnout Syndrome juga memberikan pengaruh negatif dengan nilai sig.-0,238. Pada pengaruh tidak langsung yang di uji dengan kalkulator sobel didapatkan hasil bahwa hardines mampu memediasi pengaruh Konflik peran ganda dan Burnout Syndrome terhadap kinerja Guru. Nilai P Value atau Nilai Signifikansi pada konflik peran ganda dan burnout syndrome terhadap kinerja melalui hardiness sebesar 0.040 (Jalur I) dan 0,049
