Abstract

Latar Belakang : Kesehatan jiwa adalah kondisi seseorang yang menyadari kemampuannya serta memiliki sehat fisik, mental, spiritual dan sosial. Kesehatan jiwa tidak lagi hanya membahas tentang masalah gangguan jiwa saja, namun kelompok sehat dan resiko juga perlu diketahui agar masyarakat mendapatkan tindakan yang tepat, salah satunya adalah kesehatan jiwa pada remaja. Berbagai penelitian menunjukan tingkat pengetahuan pada remaja masih sangat kurang tentang kesehatan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pada remaja tentang kesehatan jiwa. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan survey deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah sample 153 orang yaitu siswa kelas X di SMA N 1 susut Bangli. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kesehatan jiwa dalam bentuk google form. Data dianalisis dengan univariat analisis. Hasil : Dari data tingkat pengetahuan  didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan siswa SMA N 1 Susut Bangli adalah baik yaitu dengan 112 orang atau 73.2%, berdasarkan jururusan sebagian besar adalah jurusan IPA sebanyak 89 orang atau 58.2%, sementara dari segi umur sebagian besar responden berumur 15 tahun sebanyak 77 orang atau 50.3%. Simpulan : Sebagian besar pengetahuan siswa SMA N 1 Susut Bangli memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang kesehatan jiwa.

Abstract

Background: Caregiver can discuss problems when treating patients, because there is a burden that must be borne by the caregiver both physically and emotionally. The burden that is happened during the treatment must be responded by a coping source both internally and externally. Coping resources can include family support, government support, and support from health workers. Objective of The Study: Explores in depth the meaning of caregiver's burdens and expectations in caring for family members with mental disorders. Methods: Design of qualitative research with interpretative phenomenology approach. Based on the inclusion criteria and the data saturation, then there are 9 participants who are willing to follow this research process. Data collection strategies used in depth interview techniques with semi-structured interview guidelines. Researcher conducted the data analysis using Intepretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Result: It is found four themes in this study, there are: 1) Caregiver bears the burden, 2) Feels the home situation like a hospital, 3) Requires a support from family, government, and health personnel, and 4) Sincere and surrender to accept the situation. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that caregivers bear various burdens ranging from physical burden to psychological burden and to overcome the burden, it requires support from family, government, and health workers.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a feeling felt by respondents regarding disturbing mental tension, which as a general reaction with the inability to overcome a problem or there is no sense of security, which later leads to a physiological and psychological change. The level of family anxiety can be assessed by using a questionnaire with each respondent's characteristics and level of anxiety can be divided into several parts, namely: normal anxiety levels, mild anxiety levels, moderate anxiety levels, severe anxiety levels and panic. Objective: Knowing the description of the level of family anxiety in caring for patients with schizophrenia at the Mental Poliklinik UPTD. Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali and the characteristics of families caring for patients with schizophrenia based on education, age, and type of work. Methods: The research method that used in this study was descriptive research. This study used a cross sectional study, which was a study in which the subjects were evaluated only once and the measurement of each only one variable at the same time that using sampling consecutive sampling technique. The sample used was 32 people consisting of family members of hallucinations patients. Results: Based on research conducted at the Poliklinik UPTD. Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali toward 32 family members who was caring for patients by schizophrenia, most family members did not experience anxiety or anxiety in the normal range which was 29 family members of 32 family members and 3 families who experienced mild anxiety levels. Conclusion: That most family members who treated patients by schizophrenia at the Poliklinik UPTD. Rumah sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali does not experience anxiety or anxiety still within normal limits. Latar Belakang: Kecemasan adalah suatu perasaan yang dirasakan oleh responden mengenai ketegangan mental yang menggelisahkan, dimana sebagai reaksi umum dengan ketidakmampuan dalam mengatasi suatu masalah atau tidak ada rasa aman, yang nantinya menimbulkan suatu perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis. Keluarga yang memiliki anggota keluarga dengan  gangguan jiwa dapat mengalami kecemasan Tingkat kecemasan keluarga dengan skizofrenia yaitu cemas ringan (80,49%) dan 8 keluarga mengalami cemas sedang (19,51%). Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecemasan keluarga dalam merawat pasien dengan skizofrenia di Poliklinik Jiwa UPTD Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali dan karakteristik keluarga yang merawat pasien dengan skizofrenia berdasarkan pendidikan, umur, dan jenis pekerjaan. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian cross sectional yaitu suatu penelitian dimana subjek diobsevasi hanya satu kali saja dan pengukurannya masing-masing satu variabel pada waktu yang sama yang menggunakan teknik sampling consecutive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 32 orang terdiri dari anggota keluarga pasien Halusinasi. Hasil: Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di Poliklinik Jiwa UPTD. Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali terhadap 32 anggota keluarga yang merawat pasien dengan skizofrenia, sebagian besar anggota keluarga tidak mengalami kecemasan atau kecemasan masih dalam batas normal jumlah 29 anggota keluarga dari 32 anggota keluarga dan 3 keluarga yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan ringan. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar anggota keluarga yang merawat pasien dengan skizofrenia di Poliklinik Jiwa UPTD. Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali tidak mengalami kecemasan atau kecemasan masih dalam batas normal.

Abstract

Background: Stroke is a major cause of disability in adults, where four million Americans experience neurological deficits due to stroke, two-thirds of these deficits are moderate to severe. This disease has become a worldwide health problem and is increasingly important, with two-thirds of strokes now occurring in developing countries. Stroke sufferers themselves will experience a psychological response, namely anxiety because in addition to being a life threat, patients will feel anxious about their future. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the level of anxiety in stroke patients in the Belibis Room of Wangaya Hospital Denpasar. Methode: The type of design used is descriptive design. Data collection was carried out by the researchers themselves using a standard questionnaire sheet, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), with the number of respondents 30 people who were Stroke patients in the Belibis room of Wangaya Hospital Denpasar. Result: The results of this study indicate that the majority of stroke patients in the Belibis room of Wangaya Hospital Denpasar experienced moderate anxiety, namely as many as 17 (56.7%) respondents, mild anxiety as many as 6 (20%) respondents, severe anxiety as many as 6 (20%) respondents, panic 0%, and only 1 (3.3%) respondents who did not experience anxiety. Conclusion: Individuals who experience anxiety are mostly aged over 50 years, female sex, high school education, and have private jobs. It is expected that families can provide motivation and positive encouragement to patients.Keywords: Anxiety Level; Stroke Patients

Abstract

Background: Teen are transition age from childhood to adulthood, in adolescence age the individuals will experience a change in attitudes, behaviors in line with the level of physical growth. Teenagers are very easily influenced by factors that exist outside of him as family, environment, society, peers and school friends. When enter puberty, every child has personality system that established from development so far. The concept gives sense of continuity, integrity, and consistency in a person which is a physical representation of an individual, the central core of "Me" in which all perceptions and experiences organized. In assessing theirself can positively and negatively. Individuals who have positive self-concept will be optimistic, believe in yourself and always be positive about everything, also to the failure. Individuals who have negative self-concept, believes that he looked weak, helpless, unable to do anything, incompetence, failure, poor, unattractive, unpopular and loses attraction of life. The Aim of this study was to find out description of tees self-concept who experience puberty in health vocational school of Panca Atma Jaya, Klungkung regency in 2012. Method: The method has been used in this study were descriptive method with Coss sectional approach. The sampling were simple random sampling technique so that number of sample were 130 respondents it has been collected from March-May 2012. Result: The self-concept of teen who experiences puberty, of 130 respondents, there were 2 respondents (1.5%) have negative self-concept and 128 (98.5%) respondents have a positive self-concept. Conclusion: The existence of extracurricular activities at SMK Panca Atma Jaya has a positive impact on students in developing students' self-concepts.Key words: Description of Self-Concept; Teen;, Puberty   ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dari masa kanak-kanak menuju usia dewasa, pada masa remaja individu mengalami perubahan dalam sikap, perilaku sejajar dengan tingkat pertumbuhan fisiknya. Remaja sangat mudah dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang ada diluar dirinya seperti keluarga, lingkungan, pergaulan, teman sebaya dan teman sekolah. Ketika memasuki masa pubertas, setiap anak telah mempunyai sistem kepribadian yang merupakan pembentukan dari perkembangan selama ini. Konsep diri memberikan rasa kontinuitas, keutuhan, dan konsistensi pada seseorang yang merupakan representasi fisik seorang individu, pusat inti dari “Aku” dimana semua persepsi dan pengalaman terorganisasi. Dalam menilai diri sendiri seorang individu dapat menilai dirinya positif ada pula yang menilai negatif. Individu yang memiliki konsep diri positif akan bersikap optimis, percaya diri sendiri dan selalu bersikap positif terhadap segala sesuatu, juga terhadap kegagalan yang dialami. Individu yang memiliki konsep diri negatif meyakini dan memandang bahwa dirinya lemah, tidak berdaya, tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa, tidak kompeten, gagal, malang, tidak menarik, tidak disukai dan kehilangan daya tarik terhadap hidup. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, adalah untuk mengidentifikasi Gambaran Konsep Diri Remaja Yang Mengalami Masa Pubertas di SMK Kesehatan Panca Atma Jaya Kabupaten Klungkung tahun 2012. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan coss sectional. Jumlah sampling yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu sebanyak 130 responden yang dikumpulkan dari bulan Maret-Mei 2012. Hasil: Konsep diri remaja yang mengalami masa pubertas, dari 130 responden, sebanyak 2 (1,5%) responden mempunyai konsep diri negatif dan 128 (98,5%) responden memiliki konsep diri positif. Simpulan: Adanya kegiatan ekstrakulikuler di SMK Panca Atma Jaya memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa dalam membangun konsep diri siswa.Kata kunci : Gambaran Konsep Diri; Remaja; Pubertas

Abstract

Background: The presence of schizophrenia in the family is a very heavy stressor that must be borne by the family. Families who have family members with schizophrenia can increase stress and family anxiety. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of anxiety of families with one of their family members suffering from schizophrenia at Poliklinik Jiwa Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali. Method: This research is a quantitative research with descriptive research design with consecutive sampling technique, with a sample of 30 respondents. Results: Most of the families of schizophrenia patients experienced mild anxiety levels of 12 (40.0%) respondents, moderate anxiety as many as 11 (36.7%) respondents, severe anxiety as many as 6 (20.0%) respondents, and panic was experienced by 1 (3.3%) respondents. Conclusion: Most of the families of schizophrenic patients experience mild anxiety, as many as 12 with symptoms often feeling lethargic, muscle twitch, tremor, and often feeling short of breath.Key words: Family; Anxiety; Skizofrenia

Abstract

Background: Fatigue (Burnout) is a psychological syndrome in a person that causes fatigue, emotional and mental stress due to excessive stress which can be caused by stressful situations that must be resolved beyond the individual's ability with symptoms such as decreased interest in learning, decreased enthusiasm and fatigue. A person's burnout varies depending on a person's ability to deal with difficult situations that cause fatigue, depersonalization and according to him the interest in self-achievement in certain situations. The results of previous this study showed that most of the respondents, which were 88 respondents (56.4%) experienced moderate fatigue. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of fatigue (Burnout) in the 5th semester of diploma 3 nursing students in online learning during the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic in Denpasar. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional study. Sampling was total sampling by using 65 people, who were the 5th semester of diploma nursing students at the Campus of Stikes KESDAM IX / Udayana and ITEKES. The instrument used was the MBI-SS questionnaire from Maslach and Jakson which was adopted from previous research and has been validated to determine the level of student burnout, using an online questionnaire with the Google form. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that most of the respondents, which were 49 respondents (75.4%) experienced moderate fatigue. Characteristics of respondents based on age as many as 65 people (100%) aged > 20 years, characteristics of respondents based on gender where most of the respondents as many as 36 respondents (55.4%) were female. Conclusion: Most of the respondents have moderate levels of fatigue (burnout)

Abstract

Background: Bali Province is in first place with 11% of schizophrenia sufferers. Mental disorders in Bali are also often associated with possession by demons, evil spirits, or curses from ancestors. Bali is known to have various cultures and local wisdom that bind its people, one of which is Tat Twam Asi which means you are me and I am you. Objective: The aim of this activity is to reduce the stigma of people with mental disorders through the application of Tat Twam Asi. Method: This activity was carried out by providing health education about the application of Tat Twam Asi in Mental Health with a total of 180 participants. Before health education is carried out, participants complete a pre-test and a post-test is given after completing the education. There are five questions in the pre-test and post-test with the criteria for a good score of ³ 75%, a fair score of 56 – 74% and a poor score of <55%. Results: Based on the results of the pre-test carried out before the health education, the average participant score was <55% in the poor category. After providing health education about the application of Tat Twam Asi in mental health, the average participant score was  ³ 75% in the good category. Conclusion: Based on the results of community activities, it was found that there was an increase in public knowledge about the application of Tat Twam Asi in mental health, as an effort to reduce stigma towards people with mental disorders.

Abstract

Background: Mental health has become a critical concern among adolescents, particularly affecting their emotional regulation, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal relationships. Middle school students are especially vulnerable as they navigate identity formation while being susceptible to external influences. Various factors, including peer pressure, media influence, and gender norms, can exacerbate the gap between adolescents' reality and future perceptions. This study aims to determine the effect of Body Mind Therapy on adolescent mental health. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted. The population comprised middle school students in the Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara area. The sample size was calculated using the Lemeshow formula (n=97), with final participants of 40 students selected through simple random sampling. Inclusion criteria were students aged 12-16 years with parental consent. Variables measured included vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration), sleep quality (PSQI), anxiety (SAS/SRAS), and mental health (SDQ). Data were analyzed using a paired t-test with a 95% confidence interval. Results: Most of the adolescents were 14 years old (45%) and female (92.5%). After conducting a paired t-test, the results showed that diastolic blood pressure, pulse, respiration, sleep quality, and mental health variables in the difficulty component showed significant effects with a p-value < 0.05. Conclusion: This intervention can be relied upon to improve adolescents' physical and mental health, particularly in reducing physiological stress and improving aspects of mental health such as emotional difficulties.

Abstract

Background: Elderly individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure are at high risk for developing complications. One of the prevention efforts for hypertension complications is regular blood pressure monitoring. Blood pressure control and prevention of hypertension complications are influenced by several factors, including the patient's knowledge of hypertension and dietary patterns. Through understanding, early detection, and appropriate treatment, elderly individuals can manage and prevent serious complications that may arise. Methods: The activity implementation stage includes preparation of facilities and equipment, followed by health education using educational video media and leaflets. The activity was held in one session. The target audience for this activity was elderly individuals, both independent and assisted, aged 45 years and older. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests. Results: The activity was carried out at Wantilan, Desa Guwang, with the attendance of 30 elderly individuals from the local elderly group in the village. The activity began with elderly exercise, followed by health education through an educational video and leaflet distribution. The pre-test and post-test results showed a significant improvement in the elderly's knowledge about hypertension. The elderly demonstrated a better understanding of hypertension, including the definition of normal blood pressure, how to measure blood pressure, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle to control hypertension. Conclusion: Health education is crucial in controlling hypertension in the elderly. With accurate knowledge about hypertension, the elderly become more confident in taking preventive actions. Increased independence has a positive impact on physical, mental, and emotional aspects, which helps the elderly feel more optimistic and have a better quality of life.
