Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Guided inquiry. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IX B SMP Negeri 2 Merauke tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Instrumen lembar observasi untuk mengamati keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, dan instrumen tes berupa tes pilihan ganda dan essai untuk mengukur prestasi belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata 67,6 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 28,5% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi rata-rata 73,31 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Guided inquiry dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IX B SMP Negeri 2 Merauke. Abstract

penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas proposal penelitian tindakan kelas yang disusun oleh guru-guru SMP negeri 2 Merauke. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis dokumen terhadap proposal penelitian guru. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh proposal penelitian guru di SMP Negeri 2 Merauke dan objek penelitian adalah 5 proposal penelitian guru matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa inggris, IPA dan IPS. Objek penelitian adalah hasil proposal penelitian hasil pekerjaan guru setelah diberikan pelatihan penyusunan proposal penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mendeskripsikan ketepatan ataupun kesalahan dari setiap komponen proposal penelitian tindakan kelas guru. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) judul penelitian masih terdapat judul yang belum lengkap. (2) Sistematika proposal sudah tepat dan permasalahan pada tata letak tulisan. (3) Latar belakang masalah terlalu umum belum menguraikan permasalahan secara spesifik dan solusi permasalahan yang diberikan belum diberikan kajian hubungan antara masalah dan solusi. (4) kajian teori masih minim referensi dan belum ada pengkajian secara mendalam terhadap teori-teori yang dituliskan. (5) penelitian relevan hanya menyajikan hasil penelitian relevan dalam bentuk angka. (6) gambar kerangka pikir sudah tepat namun deskripsinya belum sesuai dengan gambar. dan (7) sistematika metodologi penelitian sudah sesuai dan lengkap, kekurangan pada bagian instrument penelitian dan indicator keberhasilan belum sesuai secara. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui persentase aspek kognitif TIMSS pada buku siswa matematika semester 1 kurikulum 2013 (edisi revisi 2017) SMP kelas VIII pada soal uji kompetensi yang terdiri dari 240 butir soal yang dianalisis berupa pilihan ganda 125 butir soal dan esai 115 butir soal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi dokumen yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang didasarkan pada analisis dokumen secara mendalam dan komprehensif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil analisis butir soal yang ditinjau dari aspek kognitif TIMSS menujukkan bahwa dari 240 butir soal yang dianalisis terdapat 27 butir soal yang masuk dalam aspek pengetahuan dengan besar persentase 11,25%, 136 butir soal merupakan aspek penerapan dengan besar persentase 56,67% dan terdapat 77 butir soal yang merupakan aspek penalaran dengan besar persentase 32,08% sehingga soal yang paling dominan dalam buku tersebut adalah aspek penerapan yaitu sebesar 56,67%

Abstract

Beliefs have been identified as an affect on the psychology of mathematics education. Additionally, representations play a paramount role in mathematics teaching and learning. However, few studies have examined prospective teachers' beliefs and their relationship to representations in problem-solving. The purpose of this study is to examine prospective mathematics teachers' beliefs and representations in solving word problems review from gender differences. This study involves 103 college students from the mathematics education department at a public university in Merauke Regency. The data were gathered using a questionnaire, a test, and in-depth interviews. A questionnaire was utilized to elicit the belief of prospective teachers. A test and interview were conducted to evoke data about participants' representations when solving word problems. The male student was found to be capable of arriving at a solution employing multiple representations. Due to the inaccurate representation constructed, the female student was unable to find the correct solution. This work implies that lecturers should heed prospective teachers' beliefs and generate representations of the focal point of classroom learning practice.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kecemasan matematika terhadap kesadaran metakognisi dan kaitannya dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP Negeri Urumb. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Ex-Post Facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri Urumb tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah sampel 123 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen: (1) angket motivasi belajar, (2) angket kecemasan matematika, (3) angket kesadaran metakognisi dan (4) hasil belajar matematika. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap kesadaran metakognisi siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,916, (2) Kecemasan matematika berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap kesadaran metakognisi siswa dengan koefisisen korelasi sebesar 0,074, (3) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan koefisisen korelasi sebesar 0,797, (4) Kecemasan matematika tidak berpengaruh secara langsung secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan koefisisen korelasi sebesar -0,067, (5) Kesadaran metakognisi tidak berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika dengan koefisisen korelasi sebesar 0,112, (6) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh tidak langsung secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui kesadaran metakognisi koefisisen korelasi 0,102 dan (7) Kecemasan matematika berpengaruh tidak langsung secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui kesadaran metakognisi koefisisen korelasi 0,008. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation and mathematics anxiety on metacognition awareness and its relation to mathematics learning outcomes of Urumb Public Middle School students. This type of research is "ex post facto". The population in this study were Urumb Public Middle School students in the 2019/2020 school year with a total sample of 123 students selected using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using instruments: (1) Learning motivation has a significant direct effect on students 'metacognition awareness with a correlation coefficient of 0.916, (2) Mathematical anxiety has a significant direct effect on students' metacognition awareness with a correlation coefficient of 0.074, (3) Learning motivation has a direct effect significant to the mathematics learning outcomes of students 'correlation coefficient0.797, (4) Mathematical anxiety does not have a significant direct effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of students' correlation coefficients -0.067, (5) Awareness of metacognition does not significantly influence the mathematics learning outcomes of correlation coefficients 0.112, (6) Learning motivation has a significant indirect effect on student mathematics learning outcomes through awareness of correlation coefficient metacognition 0.102 and (7) Mathematical anxiety has a significant indirect effect on student mathematics learning outcomes through awareness of correlation coefficient metacognition 0.008.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan lembar kerja siswa yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan minat belajar matematika siswa. Metode pengembangan menggunakan model pegembangan Borg & Gall yang terdiri atas Research and information collecting; Planning; Develop preliminary form of product; Preliminary field testing; Main product revision; Main field testing; Operational product revision. Produk pengembangan diujicoba pada siswa kelas VII SMP YPK Tomer. Hasil penelitian memuat uraian singkat mengenai masalah dan tujuan penelitian, metode yang digunakan, dan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Problem Solving memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan penilaian oleh tiga validator. Sedangkan instrumen penilaian berupa soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan angket minat belajar juga memenuhi kriteria valid. Perangkat diujicobakan pada Siswa Kelas VII B SMP YPK Tomer sebanyak 5 pertemuan. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa serta berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid. Berdasarkan hasil angket minat belajar matematika diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan problem solving pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel efektif meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas VII B SMP YPK Tomer yakni 86,9% siswa memiliki minat belajar matematika pada kategori minimal baik, sedangkan pada aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran tidak efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yakni hanya 52,17% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada kategori minimal cukup kreatif

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive research that aimed to discover the external factors affecting students in doing Mathematics Homework and to discover the most dominant external factors. The sample used in the research represented the entire population of sixty students. Data collecting techniques used is by distributing the questionnaires. The questionnaire contained nine external factors was tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzing technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The result of this research is nine external factors affecting the students of Madrasah Al-Munawwaroh in doing the Mathematics homework they are factor of follow up of the teacher in giving Mathematics homework as 97.5%, factor of giving the value of Mathematics homework as 98.33%, factor of type and nature of Mathematics homework as 81.67%, factor of responsibility and time to do the Mathematics homework as 85%, factor of the Mathematics homework difficulty level as 81.67%, factor of material and resources in doing Mathematics homework as 88.83%, factor of teaching method and Mathematics teacher characteristics as 90%, factor of friend influenced as 85%, and parents support as 72.5%. The dominant external factors are the factor of giving value in Mathematics homework, the factor of follow up of teachers in the giving Mathematics homework, and factor of how to teach and Mathematics teacher characteristic. Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase interest and achievement of learning mathematics using Advance Organizer model. This research was conducted in two cycles with 4 meetings in each cycle. Subjects in the study consisted of 28 students, 17 male students and 11 female students of grade IX SMP Negeri 2 Merauke. Data collection techniques used are test techniques for achievement tests and non-test techniques for interest questionnaires and observation sheets. The result of the research is the interest of learning mathematics of students in cycle I was 64,29% which is in good category and very good and in cycle II student learning interest increased to 78,58% which is in good category and very good. Student learning achievement in pre cycle with the value above 61 was 35,71% complete. In the first cycle student achievement increased by 53.57% of students value above 61 and on the second cycle student achievement increased to78.57% of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Based on the result, it can be concluded that Advance Organizer model can increase interest and achievement of mathematics learning of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Merauke.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine student responses after being given an introduction to mathematical literacy using card media. Literacy cards contain literacy contexts in everyday life that are associated with commonly encountered problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using instruments in the form of questionnaire student responses. The questionnaire was prepared and tested for validity by expert validators. There were three dimensions developed in this questionnaire including the appearance of card media, the usefulness of literacy cards, and the suitability of using literacy cards. Each dimension was then developed into an indicator and elaborated on several questionnaire points. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students, totaling 18 students. The results were analyzed using microsoft excel to determine the level of student response. A description of the results was carried out to provide a clear picture of each indicator. Based on the results, it obtained on the display indicators and content of literacy cards as much as 68% agree, ease of use of literacy cards as much as 70% and the usefulness of literacy cards by 71% which shows that the interpretation of literacy recognition through card games gives a good response by respondents.

Abstract

[English]: This scoping review aims to examine mathematics education research in Indonesia in the last seven years. A search on top 1 and 2 journals, which were selected through a national database (Sinta), yielded 595 articles published from 2015 to March 2021. A content analysis of the articles revealed that research mostly used by mathematics education researchers in Indonesia was qualitative (41.85%), quantitative (32.94%), and developmental (17.82%). The research participants were dominated by junior high school students (35.63%), college students or pre-service teachers (23.87%), and senior high school students (17.48%). The number of participants ranges from 31 to 60 (26.72%) in the majority of the research. Most of the research data were collected through tests, interviews, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the use of descriptive statistics, qualitative methods, and t-tests were obtrusive. There are twelve most researched topics in Indonesia, including mathematical ability (27.23%), technology application (13.28%), and cognitive process (9.92%). Several topics that have not been developed in Indonesia are philosophy and history of mathematics education, early childhood mathematics learning, and topics on multicultural, multilingualism, and equity in mathematics education. Meanwhile, the integration of Islamic values ​​in teaching and learning mathematics is a particular topic in Indonesia. [Bahasa]: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penelitian pendidikan matematika di Indonesia dalam tujuh tahun terakhir. Pencarian pada jurnal level 1 dan level 2, yang dipilih melalui basis data nasional (Sinta), menghasilkan 595 artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2015 sampai Maret 2021. Hasil konten analisis dari artikel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penelitian paling banyak digunakan peneliti pendidikan matematika di Indonesia adalah kualitatif (41,85%), kuantitatif (32,94%), dan pengembangan (17,82%). Partisipan paling banyak dilibatkan adalah siswa SMP (35,63%), mahasiswa atau calon guru (23,87%), dan siswa SMA (17,48%). Sebagian besar jumlah sampel yang digunakan berada pada kisaran 31-60 orang (26,72%). Pengumpulan data banyak dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Sementara itu, analisis data paling banyak menggunakan statistik deskriptif, metode kualitatif, dan uji-t. Terdapat dua belas topik paling banyak diteliti di Indonesia, diantaranya; kemampuan matematis (27,23%), aplikasi teknologi (13,28%), dan proses kognitif (9,92%). Beberapa topik yang belum banyak berkembang di Indonesia yaitu filosofi dan sejarah pendidikan matematika, pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini, dan topik terkait multikultural, multilingual, dan kesetaraan dalam pendidikan matematika. Sementara itu, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan topik penelitian yang menjadi ciri khas di Indonesia.
