Abstract

The Islamic finance industry has grown rapidly in global financial markets until 2015 when it experienced a slowdown in 2016 with an estimated value of USD 1.89 trillion. Defaults on sukuk must be able to be overcome or avoided, so through this paper we want to reveal the risks that can arise from sukuk and mitigate the risk of sukuk defaulting. The type of research method used in this research is literature, namely research whose object discovery is carried out by digging literature information. The result of this study, the resolution of the risk of default is one of them by restructuring the sukuk. As for restructuring, namely rescheduling, providing an extension of time, regulations must be tightened, such as conventional bonds continue to use sharia principles at the same time and all Sukuk transactions must be halal, avoid transactions of riba (paying and taking interest), gharar (ambiguity, fraud), and maysir (games of chance), prohibition of investing in products and services that are not in accordance with sharia, need approval from the Advisory Board Sharia. There are two major implications of this sharia principle of dispute resolution. First, the parties are given the discretion to determine resolutions through fair negotiations, as long as they do not conflict with other Sharia rules, such as usury, gharar, and maysir. Second, there is less concrete scaffolding for debt restructuring because the parties can work out a number of solutions.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) are a horticultural commodity with high economic value and increasing market demand, both from households and the culinary industry. However, at the local farmer level, productivity remains low due to limitations in cultivation methods, production facilities, and technical knowledge. Therefore, this community engagement program was essential to address the need for increased production capacity and to support the economic independence of mushroom farmers. This program was implemented in Jugruk Rejosari Village, Kandangan Sub-district, Benowo District, Surabaya, in collaboration with the farmer group “Jamur Jaya Sukses” as part of the Bangun Desa Unggul program initiated by Baitulmaal Muamalat. The interventions included the distribution of 2,000 baglogs, the implementation of automated temperature and humidity control systems, the use of fermented agricultural waste as a growing medium, steam sterilization, and a micro misting system. Technical mentoring was also provided through consultation with mushroom cultivation practitioners from Magetan. The results demonstrated increased cultivation efficiency, such as reduced crop failure rates, shorter harvesting periods, and lower operational costs due to the use of local waste-based substrates. Additionally, mushroom productivity significantly improved, from an average of 0.6 kg per baglog to 0.9 kg per baglog. This program is expected to serve as a practical model for the sustainable development of oyster mushroom cultivation in other regions.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores in depth the compilation of the state financial management system during the reign of Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib (656–661 AD) and its relevance to the dynamics of justice-based budget reform in 2026. Amid global economic uncertainty and increasing demands for fiscal transparency, the management model of the Baitul Maal of the Ali era offered an important paradigm regarding the equitable distribution of wealth and strict bureaucratic oversight. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a historical-analytical approach. The results of the study show that Ali's policies in removing elite privileges, conducting periodic audits of local officials, and the principle of "spending the budget" for the people are crucial instruments for the reform of the modern financial bureaucracy. The conclusion of the study confirms that the integration of Ali bin Abi Talib's ethics into the state financial management system by 2026 can minimize social disparities and strengthen public trust in state institutions.
