Abstract

Batik sebagai salah satu potensi yang ada di Indonesia terkadang menggunakan pewarna sintetis yang mengandung bahan kimia. Limbah yang dihasilkan bisa jadi masih mengandung logam berat yang mempunyai toksisitas yang tinggi. Logam berat pada limbah batik yang mempunyai toksisitas tinggi tersebut antara lain logam timbal (Pb) yang biasanya berasal dari pewarna putih dan Kromium (Cr) dari pewarna merah. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengurangi kadar Pb dan Cr pada limbah batik adalah melakukan proses adsorpsi menggunakan tongkol jagung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model kesetimbangan yang digunakan untuk melihat keefektifan tongkol jagung sebagai adsorben logam Pb dan Cr adalah Langmuir dan Freundlich dengan variasi konsentrasi Pb yaitu 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150 dan 200 mg/L dan Cr pada konsentrasi 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 dan 1000 mg/L. Model kesetimbangan isotherm adsorpsi logam Pb dan Cr menggunakan tongkol jagung dengan waktu kontak 60 menit, kecepatan pengadukan 100 rpm dan 150 rpm. Hasil analisis kesetimbangan adsorpsi isotherm Langmuir untuk logam Pb dan Cr menghasilkan kapasitas adsorpsi 4,25mg/g dan 4,46 mg/g. Analisis kesetimbangan adsorpsi isotermal Freundlich untuk logam Pb dan Cr menghasilkan tetapan kesetimbangan 3,31 dan 3,41. Kesimpulannya adalah model kesetimbangan adsorpsi Langmuir lebih sesuai digunakan untuk menentukan keefektifan proses adsorpsi logam Pb dan Cr menggunakan tongkol jagung pada limbah batik dibandingkan dengan model Freundlich.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature review regarding the use of video media with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in science learning and also determine the identification and use of the Team Games Tournament learning model in science learning. The method used in the research is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The results of the analysis of several articles show that the Team Games Tournament Learning Model assisted by learning videos in science learning has a significant positive influence on improving student learning outcomes, understanding concepts, student responses and student activities become more effective.Keywords: Team Gemes Tournament, Science, Learning Results.  Keywords: learning results, science, team gemes tournament

Abstract

The love for one's country is increasingly being degraded among young people in the contemporary era due to students' lack of extensive knowledge and understanding of national culture. This correlates with students' learning and sense of nationalism which is starting to disappear due to developments over time and the impact of westernization. The research conducted by researchers used a qualitative research approach design with a case study method. This research chose the Elementary School at Makkah Indonesian School for grade 4 students as the research location because the school consists of heterogeneous student conditions with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that the Makkah Indonesian School already understands the description and objectives regarding Pancasila values education, the principal and teachers have planned the implementation of Pancasila values education, and the realization of Pancasila values education has been seen. implemented optimally, and in the evaluation of Pancasila values education at the Makkah Indonesian School, there are still at least not very significant obstacles Keywords: Pancasila, Education, Mecca Indonesian School

Abstract

Critical thinking skills development remains a significant challenge in Indonesian elementary education, particularly in science subjects where traditional teaching methods often fail to engage students effectively. This study aimed to develop and evaluate GEMPITA (Plant Breeding Educational Game) to enhance Grade IV students' critical thinking skills through an integrated Problem-Based Learning approach. The research employed a Research and Development methodology using the ADDIE model. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Palebon 03 Semarang City with 34 Grade IV students across two implementation phases: small-scale trial (6 students) and large-scale trial (28 students). Data collection included expert validation, instrument validity testing, and one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. Statistical analysis employed normality testing, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations to assess learning effectiveness. Expert validation achieved 91-93% approval ratings across material, media, and language criteria. The assessment instrument demonstrated high reliability (r = 0.95) with 34 valid items from 50 initial questions. Both implementation phases showed significant improvement in critical thinking skills, with mean scores increasing from 51-53 to 90 points. Learning completeness improved dramatically from 0% to 96-100%. N-Gain analysis revealed high effectiveness (0.80) in both trials, with statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) between pretest and posttest scores. Student response rates reached 96-97%, indicating excellent acceptance. GEMPITA effectively enhanced critical thinking skills through game-based learning integration with Problem-Based Learning methodology. The findings support theoretical frameworks of problem-based learning and socio-conflict theories while providing practical evidence for technology-enhanced pedagogical approaches in Indonesian elementary education contexts.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran matematis menjadi kunci bagi peserta didik untuk menghadapi berbagai rintangan di era digital dan menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari. Kemampuan ini seharusnya ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran di sekolah. Namun, kenyataannya, banyak peserta didik yang belum menguasainya karena proses belajar yang konvensional dan minimnya bahan ajar yang melatih kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran matematis dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur terhadap artikel-artikel jurnal terkait media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran matematis peserta didik sekolah dasar dalam mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The results of a survey by the OJK in 2022 stated that the financial literacy knowledge of the Indonesian population reached 49.68% (Krisdayanthi & Wijaya, 2023) The importance of financial literacy education in primary schools to direct students to understand, assess and act on their financial well-being (Ishmuhametov & Kuzmina-Merlino, 2017; Maulana & Kurniasih, 2021). This article aims to present information about the implementation of financial literacy learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is PRISMA (Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) which consists of three steps, namely identification, screening, and inclusion. The number of articles found is 16,400 articles from 2020 to 2024. Based on the PRISMA 2021 guide, there are 14 articles considered for in-depth review. The limitations of the selected studies on peer-reviewed journals show that the implementation of financial literacy in elementary schools has a positive impact on developing students' awareness of financial management, which can be seen as an increase in understanding and knowledge about financial literacy. So it can be concluded that the implementation of financial literacy is very important to be carried out in elementary schools.

Abstract

Low student interest in learning is still a serious challenge in education which has an impact on suboptimal student learning achievement. Traditional learning methods are often unable to generate student interest in learning. The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach as a learning innovation that focuses on students' abilities has the potential to increase interest in learning. This research aims to conduct a literature review of various relevant literature to examine the TaRL approach in increasing students' interest in learning. This research method is a systematic literature review (SLR) by applying the PRISMA protocol with article search using Publish or Perish software on the Google Scholar database indexed by SINTA for the period 2020-2025. From the initial 500 articles, the selection resulted in 10 relevant articles to be analyzed. The results showed that the TaRL approach proved effective in increasing students' interest in learning at various levels of education and subjects. The research showed an increase in learning interest in each learning cycle with the category of learning interest increasing from poor/low conditions to good/high to very good/very high in each learning cycle. Successful implementation is influenced by the quality of diagnostic assessments, learning activity design, teacher competence and social-emotional support. The main challenges include limited resources, time, as well as teachers' skills in developing diagnostic assessments. The TaRL approach shows high flexibility as it can be integrated with both learning models, approaches and media. Therefore, it is relevant to be applied in various learning contexts.
