Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kesadaran ekologis terintegrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila (kesadaran eko-sila) mahasiswa, melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis flipped classroom (FC) pada perkuliahan Kajian Lingkungan Hidup (KLH). Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment dengan jumlah kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing 35 orang. Pengelompokan pada kelas eksperimen berdiferensiasi didasarkan pada karakteristik mahasiswa yang terdiri atas self-efficacy dan self-motivation. Data kesadaran eko-sila  diperoleh melalui angket Skala Kesadaran Eko-Sila dan diuji peningkatannya dengan Uji N-Gain Ternormalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor N-gain kesadaran eko-sila mahasiswa dengan self-eficacy rendah memperoleh skor N-gain = 0,3 dan pada self- eficacy tinggi = 0,5 dengan kategori sedang. Skor N-gain kesadaran eko-sila mahasiswa pada self-motivation rendah adalah 0,6 dan pada self-motivation tinggi sebesar 0,5, dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kesadaran eko-sila sebesar 48,40%.  Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kesadaran eko-sila sebanding dengan self-eficacy dan berbanding terbalik dengan self-motivation mahasiswa. Kesadaran eko-sila dapat ditingkatkan dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis flipped classroom pada perkuliahan KLH. Disarankan pentingnya pengembangan  pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam era digital pada perkuliahan lainnya yang dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila secara berkelanjutanAbstract:  The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in integrated ecological awareness of students' Pancasila values (eco-sila awareness), through differentiated learning based on flipped classroom (FC) in Environmental Studies (KLH) lectures. The research method used quasi experiments with the number of experimental groups and control groups of 35 people each. The grouping in differentiated experimental classes is based on student characteristics consisting of self-efficacy and self-motivation. Eco-sila awareness data were obtained through the Eco-Sila Awareness Scale questionnaire and tested for improvement with the Normalized N-Gain Test. The results showed that the N-gain score of eco-moral awareness of students with low self-efficiency obtained an N-gain score = 0.3 and on high self-efficiency = 0.5 with the medium category. The N-gain score of students' eco-moral awareness on low self-motivation is 0.6 and on high self-motivation is 0.5, with the medium category. The results of the N-Gain test showed that the increase in eco-sila awareness was 48.40%.  It was concluded that increasing eco-sila awareness is proportional to self-efficiency and inversely proportional to students' self-motivation. Eco-sila awareness can be increased by flipped classroom-based differentiated learning in KLH lectures. It is suggested the importance of developing differentiated learning in the digital era in other lectures that can instill the values of Pancasila in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Computer technology is currently advancing rapidly. Almost every sector of work relies on computer technology for data processing, including in the field of education, particularly in counseling services. Based on monitoring and direct interactions with teaching staff at SMK Negeri 3 Palu, it is revealed that there is currently no system available that can manage student violation incident data optimally. Instead, the process still relies on manual recording, where teachers record student violations and then submit them to the Counseling Unit (BK). Manual information management is vulnerable to the risk of data loss and information overlap. To address this situation, this research intends to develop a Web-Based Student Violation Counseling Information System with a Point System at SMK Negeri 3 Palu, focusing on improving efficiency and transparency in the point allocation process. In this study, the approach applied is the Waterfall model. With the adoption of this system, the identification of the most frequently occurring student violations becomes more detailed.

Abstract

Every company certainly needs an information system for ease of work management in a company organization. As in the problems faced by the company PT. Oti Eya Abadi who needs an information system that can create and print company cash as efficiently as possible so that leaders and employees who manage the company's financial cash do not make manual formats in excel anymore and obtain cash data formats automatically from the information system. In order to achieve a sequential but still efficient system flow in the use of information systems, an analysis is made related to the business process flow of the information system with a description in the form of Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN). By describing BPMN, the creation of an information system can be made more directed in each access feature so that when the information system is completed it can be used with access that is easier for users to understand and more efficient in using an information system, including the financial information system of PT. Abstract

The network on the Automatic Teller Machine currently uses a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) network based on Geostationary Satellites. VSAT networks often experience problems such as UP-DOWN or total DOWN. Some of the problems that cause interruptions on the VSAT interconnection include the usage period of the Modem electronic device and also ODU (Outdoor Unit) devices such as RFU, LNB, and BUC, ODU devices have a transmit period and also a received period that is uncertain according to the voltage at the location. Problems with the VSAT interconnection system cause ATM services to become unusable, resulting in losses for the bank's profits. In addition, the repair process is also generally quite time-consuming. The purpose of this study is to design an inexpensive ATM backup network solution so that when there is a break/disruption in the VSAT network the service on the ATM is not interrupted and in terms of operational costs does not swell. The backup network is intended to back up the satellite-based leading network automatically so that ATM services are always available when the satellite-based network is interrupted. The result of the study is that the proposed solution can resolve service outages at ATM machines in 34 seconds. The ATM network system will experience disconnection before finally reconnecting through the backup network. The proposed solution is much cheaper than the VSAT-based failover network solution, as it is based on the public internet network.

Abstract

This study addresses the usability challenges faced by Tadulako University's MBKM & Academic Services Information System (SITAMPAN), developed in response to the Ministry of Education’s Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative. By applying a structured Design Thinking approach, this research seeks to present a novel solution for enhancing user experience and system usability in educational information systems. Through the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) evaluations, initial findings indicated a low usability score (SUS: 41.75, grade "F"), categorizing the system as a "Detractor" in the Net Promoter Score (NPS) framework. Following the implementation of user centered design improvements, the SUS score increased substantially to 86.25 ("A" grade), with NPS shifting to a "Promoter" classification, while UEQ scores showed marked improvement across all metrics. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of Design Thinking in systematically addressing and optimizing the user experience, providing valuable insights for future information system developments in educational contexts.

Abstract

Central Sulawesi, particularly Palu City, is a disaster-prone area with communities lacking sufficient knowledge and preparation for natural disaster risks. This study aims to develop a sustainable digital platform that enhances community preparedness through a user-friendly and engaging website design. By applying the Design Thinking method, the platform integrates sustainable digital innovation to provide essential information on disaster-prone areas, volunteer opportunities, and donation channels. The platform’s design prioritizes efficient use of digital resources to minimize environmental impact, supporting long-term resilience and community mobilization. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches, data was gathered through questionnaires and interviews with PMI staff, volunteers, and the public. The Design Thinking stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, were employed to create a responsive and effective user experience. SEQ testing results revealed an average usability score of 4.25, highlighting the platform's ease of use. This project contributes to sustainable innovation in disaster preparedness by leveraging digital resources to empower communities in Central Sulawesi.

Abstract

In 2023, the Environmental Agency of Palu City recorded a total waste production of 97,492 tons, of which 10.4% was plastic waste. The Palu City Government operates a fleet of garbage trucks on a predetermined collection schedule. However, garbage bins frequently overflow before their scheduled pickup, resulting in extended waste accumulation and inefficiency. This study proposes a web and mobile-based system to enhance waste management by integrating bin condition reporting and shortest route calculation for collecting full bins. The Held-Karp algorithm is utilized to address the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) for determining optimal collection routes. The system was developed using Golang, Flutter, ReactJS, and a MySQL database. API functionality was validated using Postman, and overall system functionality was tested using the black-box method. A case study involving 8 test points (1 starting point, 10 waste collection points, and 1 endpoint) demonstrated that the proposed system reduces travel time by up to 21.74%, costs by 22.29%, fuel consumption by 21.16%, and distance traveled by 21.16% compared to conventional methods. These results highlight the potential of the system to significantly optimize waste collection operations and support sustainable urban waste management practices.

Abstract

In 2020-2023. The issue of high school dropouts at SMA Negeri 2 Sigi increased, causing impacts such as declining school accreditation, a decrease in the number of students, and operational aid. This research aims to build an early prediction system for student dropouts using Machine Learning (ML). In this study, data from 200 students were used. With 16 students labeled as dropout. The results showed a model accuracy of 0.942 and an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.948. the factors most influencing student droppout are average grades, meeting targets, and father’s education leve.

Abstract

Android-Based Attendance Application, Face Recognation, Haversine Algorithm, Management System. The attendance system is a method for managing employee presence, which contributes to productivity and accountability. This study aims to implement an Android-based attendance application that utilizes face recognition technology and the Haversine algorithm to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the attendance process. Face recognition is applied to automatically verify user identity and reduce the risk of fraud in the attendance process. The system integrates the Haversine algorithm and face recognition, where the Haversine algorithm is used to calculate the distance between the employee's location and the office, ensuring that attendance can only be recorded within a predetermined radius. The results indicate that this system is effective in determining employee attendance status with high accuracy, recording employees within a radius of ≤ 30 meters as present. Additionally, the use of face recognition technology accelerates the attendance process and improves accountability. These findings open opportunities for further research in integrating technology into human resource management and are expected to enhance transparency and efficiency in managing employee attendance across various sectors.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan teknologi di era industri 5.0 telah mempengaruhi berbagai aspek terutama pada pelayanan tanda tangan elektronik, dimana pada era teknologi saat ini tidak hanya menjadi atau untuk memfasilitasi kehidupan sehari-hari tetapi juga mendorong inovasi di berbagai bidang untuk memecahkan masalah global dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan. Namun penerapan teknologi informasi pada diskominfo masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti proses bisnis dan prosedur standar operasional yang tidak terstruktur dan terorganisir serta masih kurangnya efisiensi dalam penggunaan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kualitas pada pelayanan pada tanda tangan maka solusi yang dibutuhkan yaitu membangun perancangan arsitektur perusahaan dengan kecerdasan buatan dengan menggunakan TOGAF ADM dalam meningkatkan pelayanan organisasi dalam mendukung pengembangan kota pintar di Kota Palu. Sedangkan tahapan yang dikerjakan pada perancangan menggunakan TOGAF ADM dimulai dari Tahap Pendahuluan, visi arsitektur, arsitektur bisnis, sistem informasi, arsitektur, dan arsitektur teknologi selaras dengan standar yang diperlukan proses bisnis dan prosedur operasional standar. Hasil perancangan akan menghasilkan rencana strategi yang akan menyatukan arsitektur bisnis, data, aplikasi dan teknologi dalam hubungan untuk mendekati satu sama lain.
