Abstract

Social skills are essential for everyone to have. The cultivation and development of social skills are essential for children. From an early age, children need to be instilled and developed with social skills to face life in school and society well. The cultivation and development of social skills for children are crucial, considering the changing times that can make children lack social skills. For example, the rapid development of information technology, mobile phones, online games, and other communication media can make a person’s skills, especially children’s, less developed or even decline. Therefore, it is very important to develop social skills for children. Besides parents, teachers and facilitators at school also play a crucial role in developing children’s social skills. However, with this module-shaped instrument, guidance for teachers and facilitators to develop children’s social skills becomes crucial. In this community service, a pilot project will be carried out to guide teachers and facilitators to develop children’s social skills. Teachers and facilitators will dissect and provide input on the guide so that it can be used later according to its purpose to develop children’s social skills.

Abstract

In industries and organizations, there are two types of employees: permanent and contract. Permanent employees have advantages like higher abilities, stronger commitment, job satisfaction, and innovative behavior. On the one hand, many contract employees in Indonesia insist on being permanent employees. However, in reality, institutions in Indonesia need help in converting their contract employees into permanent employees. Considerations of commitment and the costs involved, as well as doubts about the readiness of contract employees to work, become issues in this matter. There is a need for proper selection to assess the readiness of employees to predict their capabilities in work. Therefore, this study aims to develop a work readiness measurement tool suitable for Indonesia. Using a quantitative method, the development of this measurement tool involves five stages: conceptualization, construction, testing, item analysis, and measurement tool revision. The participants involved in the study were 320 contract employees, resulting in a 24-item Work Readiness Scale. The coefficient α of the Work Readiness Scale for the 24 items was 0.864, while this measurement tool's goodness of fit analysis yielded CFI 0.95, RMSEA 0.06, IFI 0.95, and NFI 0.90. In conclusion, this measurement tool is generally reliable and valid.

Abstract

There are many changes in human life after arrival of Covid-19 pandemic. One of them is change in education process. Education, which was easily accessible, is more increasingly limited over the pandemic, with face-to-face activities moving online. Students also experience limitations in interacting with others to access educational information and undergo psychological changes. This exacerbates the issue where many students in Indonesia are confused about choosing their majors and future careers. When these students eventually enrol in higher education, they are at risk of choosing the wrong major and career mismatching which impacts their future career development. Therefore, the program team conduct online psychosocial education to help students recognize themselves, choose the right majors, and overcome obstacles related to major selection. There are 137 students from various regions in Indonesia participating in the online program via Zoom Meeting Cloud. Participants find the program beneficial and recommend its continuation. Overall, participants are satisfied with the implementation of the program and hope for its sustainability.

Abstract

Psychoeducation on the Implementation of Environmentally Friendly Green Entrepreneurship for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) run by UNJ Students and Alumni in the food production sector, namely Dath Crumbs and Juragan Dimsum, as well as in the artificial flower arrangement service business, By.Paeonia. This activity was also attended by several students who are interested in entrepreneurship. This community service program was carried out to raise awareness among UNJ students and alumni entrepreneurs of the role they can play in protecting the environment while striving to gain profit from their businesses. We aim to foster awareness of environmental issues starting from our closest surroundings. The education we provided began with the introduction of the concept of green entrepreneurship, the importance of sustainability awareness among business actors, and the application of ecopreneurship in the food, beverage, and artificial flower industries. In this seminar, we also discussed the benefits that entrepreneurs can obtain by applying ecopreneurship. Moreover, as part of the younger generation, their businesses are more likely to endure in the long term. The mean score showed an improvement of 0.40 from the pretest to the posttest. Therefore, we hope that these entrepreneurs will eventually become green entrepreneurs and ecoinnovators—a generation that contributes ideas for running sustainable businesses in order to achieve SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of Perceived Value, Perceived Risk, and Perceived Usefulness on Green Purchase Intention. A quantitative approach was employed in this research. The population consisted of 581 potential users of electric motorcycles. The measurement instruments used in this study included the Green Purchase Intention scale adapted from Chen & Chang (2012), and the Perceived Risk, Perceived Value, and Perceived Usefulness scales adapted from Wu et al. (2014). Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS application. The results of the study indicate that Perceived Value has a P-value of 0.000, Perceived Risk has a P-value of 0.009, and Perceived Usefulness has a P-value of 0.000. Generally, Perceived Value, Perceived Risk, and Perceived Usefulness have a significant influence on Green Purchase Intention, with Perceived Value emerging as the most dominant factor. Based on the goodness-of-fit analysis, the model yielded a value of 0.399, and the R-squared value was 0.620. These values suggest that the model has good predictive capability. The implications of this study highlight that enhancing Perceived Value, reducing Perceived Risk, and increasing Perceived Usefulness can significantly improve Green Purchase Intention.

Abstract

This study explores the psychological factors that influence applying a technology acceptance model to KAI Commuter Jabodetabek. The model focuses on the primary variables of perceived usefulness and attitude toward the service, with passenger loyalty serving as the key indicator of successful public transportation acceptance. Data was collected via surveys from 352 purposively selected commuter workers in the Greater Jakarta area using a cross-sectional, quantitative design. The measurement tools used are adaptations of the Passenger Loyalty Measure to Public Transportation Modes, the Attitude Measure to Public Transportation, and the Perceived Usefulness Measure. The results indicate that attitude toward KAI Commuter Jabodetabek partially mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness and passenger loyalty (B = 1.2, t = 7.35, p < .001). This indicates that passengers’ decision to use or reject KAI Commuter Jabodetabek services depends on the ratio of benefits. By integrating principles from the technology acceptance model with psychological theories of attitude and behavior, this study addresses a critical gap in understanding how psychological and perceptual factors drive transit behavior. The insights gained provide valuable guidance for the design and management of PTSs , enhancing user adoption and long-term loyalty.
