Abstract

Cases of verbal and non-verbal bullying often occur around us, whether we realize it or not. This bullying has a negative impact on victims, so it is important to make efforts to prevent and stop cases of bullying. One way to handle cases of bullying is to provide psychoeducation to children about the negative effects that can arise from cases of bullying. For the reason this research was conducted in the form of psychoeducation for dhuafa orphans under the guidance of the At-Taufiq Guntur Mosque, South Jakarta by using the role-playing method which was carried out face to face. Through formative evaluations and observations made after the activity, it was concluded that the role-playing psychoeducational activities carried out proved successful in achieving the goals that had been designed, namely students gain an understanding of bullying and have skills on how to deal with bullying.

Abstract

Abstract Many business actors in the informal sector experience difficulties in managing family finances because the income they receive is daily and not fixed. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge about how to manage the finances of families of informal sector entrepreneurs in the beneficiary community of the Friday Grocery Movement (Gesmat) At-Taufiq Guntur Mosque, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. The program designed is Psychoeducation in Managing Family Finances with the seminar method. This seminar was attended by 39 participants and was held in the hall of the At-Taufiq Mosque. To measure the success of the program, seminar participants were asked to complete a pre-test and post-test to determine the extent to which participants' knowledge of how to manage the family finances with daily and non-fixed incomes increased. The results obtained from this activity indicate that the pretest and posttest results have a significance value of 0.036 (p <0.005). This shows that there is a significant difference in scores between before and after the program. In other words, this psychoeducation is proven to increase participants' knowledge of how to manage family finances with an irregular daily income. Abstrak Banyak pelaku usaha di sektor informal mengalami kesulitan dalam mengatur keuangan keluarga karena penghasilan yang diterima bersifat harian dan tidak tetap. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai cara mengatur keuangan keluarga pelaku usaha sektor informal pada komunitas ibu penerima manfaat Gerakan Sembako Jumat (Gesmat) Masjid At-Taufiq Guntur, Kecamatan Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan. Adapun program yang dirancang adalah Psikoedukasi Cerdas Mengelola Keungana dengan metode seminar. Seminar ini dihadiri oleh 39 peserta dan dilaksanakan di Aula Masjid At-Taufiq Halimun. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan program, peserta seminar diminta untuk mengisi pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai cara mengatur keuangan keluarga berpenghasilan harian dan tidak tetap. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest dan posttest memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.036 (p < 0,005). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah program. Dengan kata lain, psikoedukasi ini terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra tentang cara mengelola keuangan keluarga dengan penghasilan harian yang tidak tetap.

Abstract

Abstract Parental readiness is an important factor to pay attention to because the process of becoming a parent is a transitional process that has a significant influence on various aspects of the lives of the father and mother. The community service carried out is providing a psychoeducational program about readiness to become parents in Pasirtanjung Village, Tanjungsari District, Bogor Regency. This activity involved 13 respondents who were married and did not have children. The psychoeducation program is structured based on the basic characteristics of implementing psychoeducation, according to Brown, using experiential learning and lecture methods. Based on the processing of participant reaction sheet data, an average result of 3.02 was obtained. That is, participants feel 'satisfied' with the implementation of the psychoeducation program being carried out. Some of the aspects that are considered most satisfying are providing a summary of the material, clarity in asking questions to participants, and clarity in providing answers to participants. The aspects that are in the category of 'quite satisfactory' are timeliness in starting. Following up on these findings, a psychoeducation program can be recommended as one of the methods used to provide material about readiness to become parents. Abstrak Kesiapan menjadi orang tua merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting untuk diperhatikan karena proses menjadi orang tua adalah proses transisi yang membawa pengaruh signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan calon ayah dan ibu. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan yaitu pemberian program psikoedukasi tentang kesiapan menjadi orang tua di Desa Pasirtanjung, Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 13 responden yang sudah menikah dan belum memiliki anak. Program psikoedukasi disusun berdasarkan karakteristik dasar pelaksanaan psikoedukasi menurut Brown dengan metode experiential learning dan ceramah. Berdasarkan pengolahan data lembar reaksi peserta, didapatkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 3.02. Artinya, peserta merasa ‘puas’ dengan pelaksanaan program psikoedukasi yang dilakukan. Beberapa aspek yang paling dianggap memuaskan adalah pemberian ringkasan materi, kejelasan mengajukan pertanyaan ke peserta, dan kejelasan memberikan jawaban ke peserta. Sedangkan aspek yang dalam kategori ‘cukup memuaskan’ yaitu ketepatan waktu dalam memulai. Menindaklajuti temuan ini, program psikoedukasi bisa disarankan sebagai salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk memberikan materi tentang kesiapan menjadi orang tua.

Abstract

Internet merupakan pencapaian besar dalam sejarah umat manusia yang akan terus berlanjut hingga batas yang tidak bisa diprediksi oleh siapa pun. Hadirnya teknologi digital dengan karakter mudah dan cepat pada hakikatnya bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai macam masalah sosial di dalam masyarakat, sehingga harapan untuk menciptakan kehidupan manusia yang lebih sejahtera akan dapat tercapai. Namun, keterbatasan kapasitas kognisi manusia dalam usaha memahami orang lain dan dunia sosial (kognisi sosial) secara otomatis mengarah pada upaya penyederhanaan penyimpulan. Proses pengolahan informasi yang disederhanakan akan sangat rentan bias dan hingga akhirnya mampu menciptakan distorsi realitas. Bias kognisi sosial ini menyebabkan seseorang hanya menerima masukan dari orang lain yang sesuai dengan pemikirannya, sehingga ia menjadi selektif atas informasi yang didapat hanya berdasarkan pada keyakinan atau harapan pribadi. Bias kognisi sosial adalah masalah yang dapat diantisipasi salah satunya dengan konsep kerendahan hati intelektual

Abstract

The implementation of online distance learning creates a new deviant behaviour in higher education students. There are symptoms of student behaviour who negligent in using the internet for purposes that are not related to learning which is known as cyberloafing. Considering the rapid development of technology, the measurement of student cyberloafing behaviour needs to be developed continuously. Thus, this study aims to develop previous scales related to student cyberloafing to stay up to date. Based on literature review that discusses the measurement of student cyberloafing, a 20-item scale form created. The data were collected from 506 undergraduate students at a large university in Jakarta who have online distance learning experiences. Data were analysed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with the JASP program. The results of this study indicate that the student cyberloafing scale model is in accordance with the theory where three dimensions are indicated, namely social purpose cyberloafing, academic cyberloafing, dan gaming purpose cyberloafing. The scale has a good fit model based on CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR and GFI. Keywords: confirmatory factor analysis; cyberloafing; student cyberloafing; student cyberloafing scale

Abstract

This research aims to develop a booklet as a medium to introduce knowledge about parental readiness. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model in this research is the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research respondents consist of 13 married individuals in Pasirtanjung Village, Tanjung Sari District, Bogor Regency, West Java, who do not yet have children. Questionnaires were also given to content experts and media experts. The results of this research show that, according to the 13 respondents, the booklet received a score of 3.1748, which falls into the 'Good' category. The assessment by content experts received a score of 3.9091, which also falls into the 'Good' category, and the assessment by media experts received a score of 4, falling into the 'Very Good' category. The results of the t test also show a significance value smaller than 0.005. These results show that there is an increase in knowledge about parenting readiness after the booklet was given. The recommendations from this research indicate that the booklet can be used to increase knowledge about preparedness for parenthood.

Abstract

The purpose of community service in Pasirtanjung Village, Tanjungsari District, Bogor Regency, West Java, is to improve the skills of UMKM in information technology to be able to compete in the current era of technological and information development. The implementation of the activity was carried out at the Village Head's Office which was attended by as many as 40 entrepreneur. This method of community service is carried out directly through the provision of skills training materials and access to capital. The results of this community service are quite good, as can be seen from the enthusiasm of UMKM in following the process of providing material. This activity is expected to be able to provide skills to UMKM so that they are able to compete in the era of increasingly rapid development of information technology. Abstract

This study investigates marriage priorities and perceptions of family functioning among emerging adults. The study will compare two groups of emerging adults based on their mother’s employment status: emerging adults with stay-at-home mothers and working mothers. The research participants were 332 respondents obtained using the convenience sampling technique, with the criteria emerging adult (18-29 years old), unmarried, married parents, and living on Java Island. The instruments used were the Marital Horizon Questionnaire and McMaster Family Assessment Device Subscales GF12. The data analysis technique used to test the hypotheses in this study is the Kruskal-Wallis Test. The research results show that there are no differences in marriage priority (p = .445, p>0.05) and family functioning (p = .964, p>0.05) between Emerging Adulthood with stay-at-home mothers and Working Mothers. The mean score for family function in the group of emerging adults with working mothers (166.72) and the group of emerging adults with stay-at-home mothers (166.28). Meanwhile, the mean score for marriage priority in the group of emerging adults with working mothers (162.48) and the group of emerging adults with stay-at-home mothers (170.52). This study concludes that emerging adults raised by working mothers still maintain a positive perception of family functioning and consider marriage a priority.

Abstract

This study investigated the efficacy of Self Control for Pupils - Reflective Journaling (STOP-RJ) intervention program in enhancing self-control among juvenile detainees at the Jakarta Youth Correctional Center (LPKA Jakarta). A total of 15 male juvenile detainees, aged 15 to 18 years (M = 16.73), selected through convenience sampling, participated in the study with the approval of institutional authorities. Over the course of the 15-day program, participants were instructed to maintain reflective journals that focused on two primary aspects of self-control: emotional expression and adaptive social behavior. Their self-control levels were assessed using a self-control scale both before and after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test with the JASP program version 0.16.3.0. The findings revealed a significant increase in adaptive social behavior, accompanied by a large effect size (t (1.15) = 4.141, p < 0.001, d = 1.069). These outcomes reinforce the potential implications of structured reflective exercises in enhancing self-control skills among juvenile detainees.
