Abstract

Beasiswa Bidik misi adalah beasiswa yang diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa berprestasi dan berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu. Banyak kriteria dan persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk dapat nya seorang mahasiswa menerima beasiwa ini, karena akan dibayarkan selama mahasiswa tersebut kuliah di Perguruan Tinggi. STMIK-AMIK Riau masih terkendala dalam menentukan siapa mahasiswa yang berhak menerima. Beasiswa bidik misi bertujuan  meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi mahasiswa, khususnya mereka yang menghadapi kendala ekonomi serta meningkatkan akses dan kesempatan belajar di perguruan tinggi bagi rakyat Indonesia yang berpotensi akademik tinggi dan kurang mampu secara ekonomi. Analisa Dan Perancangan Sistem Penerima Beasiswa Bidik Misi di STMIK - AMIK  Riau dapat mempermudah pihak BAAK melakukan proses seleksi siapa yang memenuhi syarat untuk lulus sebagai penerima beasiswa bidikmisi. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat  mempercepat menyajikan informasi beasiswa bidik misi kepada mahasiswa dan pihak Akademik.

Abstract

Pengenalan wajah merupakan salah satu teknologi dari komputer yang bisa mengidentifikasi wajah seseorang melalui sebuah gambar digital. Pengenalan wajah bisa di padukan dengan sistem absensi sehingga menjadi hal yang sangat menarik, dimana sistem absensi juga dapat di lakukan menggunakan wajah. Untuk kondisi absensi yang ada saat ini masih menggunakan kartu tanda karyawan, sehingga di lakukan penitipan absensi. Seringkali pada daftar hadir tercantum nama karyawan, tetapi setelah di lihat ternyata karyawan tersebut belum masuk. Karyawan bisa saja datang terlambat absen sehingga dapat menurunkan tingkat kedisiplinan dan kualitas kerja. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, maka di buat sebuah alat sensor wajah dengan menggunakan metode eigenface. Metode eigenface suatu metode pengenalan wajah yang berdasarkan pada algoritma Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Secara singkat prosesnya merupakan citra yang di representasikan dalam sebuah gabungan vektor yang dijadikan satu matriks tunggal. Dari matriks tunggal akan diekstraksi kan suatu ciri utama yang akan membedakan antara sebuah citra wajah satu dengan citra wajah lainnya.. Hasil dari alat ini dapat melihat wajah karyawan melalui webcame dan juga akan mengidentifikasi kecocokan data yang tersedia pada database.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has increased the use of Artificial Intelligence (hereafter, AI) applications to improve students’ English skills, especially in speaking skill. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of AI applications to improve the introvert students’ speaking ability. Pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design was utilized in this study. This study conducted with 85 introvert students from two universities in Riau, Indonesia chosen by using MBTI test and purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through the questionnaire and speaking test. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 25th version to find out the descriptive statistic, normality test, and paired sample t-test. This finding shed light AI applications were effective in improving the introvert students’ speaking ability. It was proved that the t-test was higher than the t-table value (12.8231.663) with the level of significance p0.05. In short, there was significant difference on the students’ speaking ability before and after using AI applications for English speaking practiced. In conclusion, AI applications can be implemented to improve university students’ speaking ability.

Abstract

A smart chair is a reflection smart chair that utilizes waste tires as an alternative to acupuncture. Smart chairs are designed for people who are phobic about acupuncture needles by replacing these needles with waste tires. Acupuncture smart chairs also make it easier for users without having to go to the acupuncture practice place. This smart chair is equipped with an application that is directly connected to android. The smart chair application is an android-based remote control where users can control the application remotely. However, this application has not been tested so it is not yet known how effective and efficient the use of the application is. Therefore, researchers would conduct testing by using the usability testing method. The usability testing method is a method carried out to measure the ease of the application that has been made. The analysis in this method used five evaluation components, namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. This research would make instruments based on usability testing and then distribute instruments to samples by using sampling techniques. The results of this study showed a variable learnability value was 65% while the efficiency variable got a value of 74%. In terms of memorability, its value was 59%, then the Errors variable value was 74%, and the last variable, namely satisfaction, reached a value of 74%.
