Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to motivate student learning in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 5 Kota Serang with a total of 30 students, while the object of this research is student motivation. the research method used is the Research And Development research method. The use of Pop Up Book teaching materials based on the Flip Builder application is used so that students can be motivated in learning, especially in PPKn subjects in the material for applying Pancasila in the context of the nation, the Flip Builder application pop up book is used so that PPKn teaching materials are more interesting and students don't feel bored when learning In class, PPKn subjects are a subject that discusses a lot about images about the nation and state, therefore PPKn requires explanations in the form of pictures and videos or animations so that students better understand PPKn subjects during class learning, to increase student learning motivation in When it comes to PPKn subjects, students must be given feedback so that learning has two-way communication and so that students can develop abilities in the classroom so that student learning is more motivated.

Abstract

This research is very important to carry out in the context of developing a digital PPKn textbook based on Pancasila student profiles for secondary level schools. Until now, many researchers have studied the themes of PPKn textbooks in terms of their values and content, but have not touched on the contents of the Pancasila student profile. The aim of this research is to strengthen the civic character of students at SMA IT Al-Izzah Ciruas District. Attack through the development of digital PPKn textbooks based on Pancasila student profiles. This research developed a digital PPKn textbook based on Pancasila student profiles in the form of a Flipbook. In practical terms, it is hoped that the digital PPKn textbook product resulting from this research and development can become the main learning resource for students at Al-Izzah IT High School, Ciruas District. Serang, can also be a reference for other schools within the upper secondary level. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model developed by Robert Marribe Branch (2009) with implementation stages including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. (evaluation). The results of the material expert validation assessment were 83.6%, learning expert validation 90%, and design expert validation 97% in the Very Valid and Appropriate category. Meanwhile, the response results from teachers as users were 90% and student responses were 87.86%. Thus, the high percentage of students and teachers who gave positive responses proves that digital PPKn textbooks can be said to be effective for use to improve the civic character of class X SMA/SMK and equivalent students

Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of the Service Section Head (KASI) towards Public Services in Kramatlaban Village, to find out the Barriers to the Service Section Head (KASI) towards Public Services in Kramatlaban Village, and to find out the Strategy of the Service Section Head (KASI) towards Public Services. This research uses qualitative research methods with the data analysis technique used, namely descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were the Kramatlaban Village Head, the Kramatlaban Village Secretary, the Kramatlaban Village Service Section Head (KASI), and the Kramatlaban Village community. The research results show that the role of the Service Section Head (KASI) and other village officials in Kramatlaban village is very good in terms of serving or carrying out their duties as village officials who are ready to help the Kramatlaban village community with correspondence needed by the community. And the strategy used for the community is providing guidance to the community either through RT and RW or recitation assemblies, explaining individually the importance of personal identity (Resident Identification Card and Family Card), disseminating service information through the Kramatlaban Village Resident whatsapp group.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Learning requires a process, including when students learn something, it requires a process of creative thinking so that a teacher's assistance is needed by students. This research aims to see how the scaffolding-based learning process is applied to students' creative thinking, especially in subjects of Pancasila. The target of this research is class VIII-2 students at SMPN 12 South Tanggerang City, using a qualitative approach research method through the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation carried out by the researcher. From the results of this research, the application of scaffolding-based learning to students' creative thinking can be successful, said to be successful because, with scaffolding-based learning, students who previously did not know and could not finally know can do so with gradual assistance from educators gradually students can learn it independently and by themselves students can easily understand the learning material so that enable students to think more creatively.

Abstract

The purpose in this study is to find out the role of pancasila education teachers and citizenship in increasing students' learning interest in the online learning process in class XII SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang, to find out the factors inhibiting pancasila education teachers and citizenship in increasing students' learning interest in the online learning process in class XII SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang and to know the efforts of the role of pancasila education teachers and citizenship in increasing interest in the bell. teach students in the online learning process in class XII SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang. Research methods are used with descriptive qualitative techniques. The study took 15 (fifteen) respondents, consisting of 3 (three) teachers of Pancasila education and citizenship and 12 (twelve) students of class XII. With the result that the role of pancasila education teachers and citizenship in increasing students' learning interest is as a director of learning, teaching planner, teaching manager, assessment of learning outcomes, motivators and guides for students. Efforts that can be done by teachers are by cultivating feelings of pleasure in students, making student interest, attracting students' attention, inviting student involvement in following the online learning process.

Abstract

The use of generative artificial intelligence in primary education is rapidly expanding; however, empirical evidence regarding its effectiveness in improving primary schools mathematics learning outcomes remains limited. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of ChatGPT-assisted independent practice with conventional teacher-guided practice in elementary mathematics learning. Using a quasi-experimental design, two groups of students received different treatments across four practice sessions covering decimal operations and comparison concepts. The findings reveal that students who practiced with ChatGPT achieved significantly higher learning outcomes than those in the conventional group, with a very large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.39). These results align with self-regulated learning theory, which highlights the importance of adaptive scaffolding in enhancing the quality of independent practice. ChatGPT provides instant explanations, just-in-time feedback, and corrective examples that directly address misconceptions—advantages not typically available in conventional practice. This study underscores the potential of ChatGPT as a learning companion in elementary mathematics and opens avenues for further research on the design of safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate AI–learner interactions.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between university students' growth mindset and their engagement in Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) supported by a deep learning approach. A quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design was employed involving 85 undergraduate students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. The findings reveal that students demonstrated a high level of growth mindset (M = 4.12) and student engagement (M = 4.05). Furthermore, a positive and statistically significant relationship was identified between growth mindset and student engagement (r = 0.68, p < 0.05), indicating that students with stronger growth mindsets tend to participate more actively, collaborate more effectively, and engage more deeply in challenge-based learning activities. These findings suggest that integrating Challenge-Based Learning with a deep learning approach promotes meaningful, reflective, and student-centered learning experiences. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence for an integrative pedagogical framework that positions growth mindset as a psychological foundation, Challenge-Based Learning as an instructional strategy, and the deep learning approach as a mechanism for strengthening student engagement. This framework offers a comprehensive perspective for designing innovative and meaningful learning in higher education.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik SMP Islam At-Taqwa mengenai peran teman sebaya sebagai agen karakter bangsa dalam membentuk sikap toleransi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi dan diskusi interaktif yang menekankan pentingnya keteladanan dan kedisiplinan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta penerapannya di lingkungan sekolah. Teman sebaya memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan sikap, perilaku, dan karakter remaja. Melalui interaksi sosial dengan teman sebaya, peserta didik dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur seperti gotong royong, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan toleransi, yang merupakan bagian dari pembentukan karakter bangsa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup ceramah, diskusi kelompok, sesi tanya jawab, serta simulasi dan studi kasus untuk memudahkan internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik menjadi lebih menyadari peran mereka dalam menumbuhkan sikap toleransi melalui interaksi sehari-hari dengan teman sebaya. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mampu meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pentingnya disiplin, keteladanan, dan solidaritas dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inklusif dan harmonis. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa teman sebaya dapat berfungsi sebagai agen pembentuk karakter bangsa yang efektif, terutama dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi pada peserta didik usia remaja, yang pada gilirannya mendukung terciptanya generasi muda yang berkarakter, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki integritas tinggi.

Abstract

Pelestarian budaya tradisional merupakan upaya penting dalam menjaga identitas bangsa di tengah arus globalisasi yang semakin pesat. Globalisasi telah membawa berbagai perubahan dalam kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk pergeseran nilai dan preferensi budaya, khususnya pada generasi muda yang cenderung lebih tertarik pada budaya global dibandingkan budaya lokal. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi mengurangi apresiasi terhadap warisan budaya tradisional yang menjadi bagian penting dari identitas nasional. Selain itu, keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan minimnya wawasan mengenai praktik pelestarian budaya di berbagai negara menjadi tantangan dalam menjaga keberlangsungan budaya tradisional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya edukatif dan kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran serta pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pelestarian budaya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai strategi pelestarian budaya tradisional melalui pendekatan komparatif antara Indonesia dan Filipina. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui kerja sama antara Universitas Pamulang dan Polytechnic University of the Philippines sebagai bentuk kolaborasi akademik internasional. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan koordinasi dengan mitra, penyusunan materi, dan penentuan media kegiatan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan secara daring melalui platform Zoom dengan metode sosialisasi, presentasi materi, diskusi interaktif, studi kasus, dan sharing session mengenai praktik pelestarian budaya di kedua negara. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui sesi tanya jawab dan pengisian kuesioner umpan balik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya pelestarian budaya tradisional, bertambahnya wawasan lintas budaya, serta terbangunnya jejaring kerja sama internasional yang mendukung pengembangan strategi pelestarian budaya yang inovatif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan di era globalisasi.
