Abstract

SMK Negeri 63 Jakarta belum memiliki Standard Operating Procedure yang berfungsi sebagai panduan keselamatan kerja dalam kegiatan di unit produksi. SOP Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dibutuhkan agar peserta didik dapat melaksanakan produksi dengan aman dan kondusif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) mengetahui kelayakan SOP Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja di Unit Produksi SMKN 63 Jakarta, 2) mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan K3 peserta didik setelah menggunakan SOP K3 di Unit Produksi SMKN 63 Jakarta, 3) mengetahui tindakan K3 peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan produksi minuman sari jeruk kunci setelah menerapkan SOP K3 Unit Produksi SMKN 63. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model ADDIE pada pengembangan SOP dan menggunakan pre-experimental design dengan metode one group pretest-posttest design pada penerapan SOP. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, SOP yang dirancang dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media. SOP K3 meningkatkan pengetahuan K3 peserta didik dengan kategori “sedang”. Tindakan K3 peserta didik setelah menerapkan SOP K3 mendapat kategori “Sangat Baik”. Penerapan SOP K3 mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya K3, serta membentuk kebiasaan bekerja yang aman dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Bandung Regency has several types of cultivated taro, with the largest production center in the Sumedang District. Semir Taro (TS0) is one of the native commodities in this region, and the other types are from the crossbreeding process between Semir Taro and Thai Silk Taro, which is named Pratama Taro (TS1 & TS2). Although it has been widely marketed and consumed by the public, the nutrient content value of this type of taro is still unknown. In addition, TS1 and TS2 have the potential to be developed into products that have higher economic value if processed optimally. This study contributes to determining the nutritious content of three taro varieties and identifies the most appropriate raw materials for the production of taro-derived products. The methods used were chemical analysis and affective organoleptic tests with paired comparison. Organoleptic tests were carried out on TS1 and TS2, and they were steamed to determine whether there was a difference between the two taros. The results of the test showed that there was no difference in the colour, aroma, and texture parameters of the two taros, but there was a difference in taste between them. While the results of the chemical analysis show that the three types of taros have a reasonably good nutrient content, because the water content is relatively high, there need to be post-harvest management efforts so that taro can be a more durable product for storage.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pelatihan partisipatif berbasis potensi lokal, khususnya melalui pemanfaatan limbah kulit melinjo menjadi pupuk organik cair (POC) dapat membangun kesadaran awal dan mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat Desa Karangtawang dalam praktik pertanian berkelanjutan. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan participatory action research melalui empat tahapan utama: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta memberikan respons positif terhadap keseluruhan kegiatan. Mereka merasa pelatihan ini memberikan wawasan baru dan inspiratif terkait pengolahan daun dan limbah kulit melinjo, serta menyatakan ketertarikan untuk mengikuti kegiatan serupa di masa depan. Kebaruan dari program ini terletak pada pemanfaatan limbah lokal yang selama ini terabaikan, melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang mengintegrasikan potensi desa dan keterlibatan teknis masyarakat secara langsung. Selain memperkuat nilai lingkungan, pendekatan ini juga membuka peluang pengembangan usaha berbasis limbah organik. Untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program, disarankan pelatihan lanjutan yang mencakup aspek mutu, pengemasan, dan sertifikasi produk agar hasil olahan dapat diterapkan dan dipasarkan secara lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas starter organik dalam pembuatan pupuk organik padat dari limbah sayur, daun, kulit kopi, dan limbah rumah tangga. Tiga perlakuan yang diuji adalah tanpa starter, starter DLH, dan starter EM4, untuk memantau perubahan pH, suhu, dekomposisi, serta kualitas fisik dan kimia pupuk. Proses berlangsung selama 21 hari dengan pengukuran setiap 3 hari menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan EM4 menghasilkan pH dan suhu yang lebih stabil, tekstur halus, aroma tanah yang khas, serta volume pupuk yang lebih stabil dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Starter DLH mempercepat dekomposisi namun menunjukkan fluktuasi pH yang lebih signifikan, sementara perlakuan tanpa starter menunjukkan perubahan yang kurang konsisten. Efektivitas starter organik bergantung pada karakteristik bahan organik yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penggunaan starter EM4 direkomendasikan untuk menghasilkan pupuk organik berkualitas tinggi yang mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to address the issue of melinjo peel and leaf waste in Karangtawang Village, Kuningan Regency, through the application of zero waste food processing technology. The target partner for this activity is the Mujursari Farmer Group. The implementation methods include surveys, counseling, technical training on product manufacturing, and mentoring. The products developed are based on optimization research for broth formulations based on melinjo waste (peels and leaves) as well as gnemon flakes. The results indicate effective technology transfer, where the community is capable of producing broth variants with the best formulation (90% melinjo peel : 10% leaves) which received high sensory acceptance. This program is expected to increase the economic value of the waste by up to IDR 15-20 million per month and support sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module on organic fertilizer production based on Spent Mushroom Substrate (SMS) with various organic amendments for vocational high school students majoring in agriculture, to support green skills and sustainable waste management. The research began with the process of producing organic fertilizer based on SMS, followed by testing its biological characteristics using Total Plate Count (TPC) test and chemical characteristics using Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium (NPK) tests, followed by the development of an e-module using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which was followed by expert validation involving subject matter, media, and language experts, as well as trials on 32 tenth-grade students majoring in Agribisnis Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura. The results showed that the addition of organic amendments could significantly increase microbial population with TPC test results showing that combination of SMS+floral compost had the most optimal results, namely 20 Cfu/gr×10⁶ on day 7 to 100 Cfu/gr×10⁶ on day 21. The NPK content of SMS-based organic fertilizer was also proven to meet SNI requirements, i.e., 6%/0.06, with SMS+CHMC sample showing the most optimal results in chemical parameters with the highest NPK content. Meanwhile, the results of implementation and paired t-test proved that e-module was considered very feasible, receiving a score of 86.6-96.6% from the validators and effectively improving student understanding, as seen from an increase in the spread of values seen in the boxplot diagram and significance value of the paired sample t-test, which was ≤0.05, taken from the results of students pre-test and post-test.
