Abstract

This research examines the influence of society’s perception about sharia bank toward intends to use sharia bank products. The data collection technique was a field survey that using questionnaire to the sample respondents. Sampling method used is accidental sampling method with 100 selected people by accidently. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression model. The result of this research indicate that people perception about bank sharia in banking system with interest, profit sharing system characteristics and sharia product knowledge, simultaneously have positive significant effect toward intends to use sharia product. Partially, only perception from knowledge of product variable has no influence toward society intends to Sharia bank products. Its means the better understanding about the no-interest banking system and also about profit sharing system as a basis for sharia bank practices, will increase society’s intends to use sharia products. Meanwhile, there is no effect for society perception whether they have a better or less knowledge of sharia bank products

Abstract

PT Asia Sealand Engineering is a company engaged in offshore industry services. This study aims to profit. (EVM). The EVM concept of the three indicators is the Work Schedule Budget (BCWS), Work Performance Cost Budget (BCWP) and Actual Cost of Work Performance (ACWP). From these indicators are then analyzed to Cost Variance (CV), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Variance Schedule (SV) and Index Performance Schedule (SPI). After these talent indexes can be calculated Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Time Estimate (TE). The project under study is project "Y" module 301 train 3, bacth 5 with job specification in Structure section. The results show that the project cost overrun and sechedule overrun. This means focusing the project down. Estimated cost of project lit (ETC) is Rp. 710.980.113.00. Total total cost can be seen from the calculation of EAC is Rp. 7.595.984.113, - and the estimated time to generate TE is 302 days.

Abstract

Choosing a good and quality forwarder is something that cannot be considered easy. Errors in choosing a forwarding service will hinder the operational processes of a company, especially if the company is an international scale such as PT. XYZ. This study aims to choose the best forwarder services for the company. Criteria set by PT. XYZ in choosing forwarder services, namely Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Responsiveness. In this research forwarders who offer themselves or take part in bidding to work with PT. XYZ has only 4, namely forwarder A, forwarder B, forwarder C, and forwarder D. In this study the author uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine which forwarder fits the company's criteria. The most important criteria for PT. XYZ is a Cost with the highest weight of 0.4841, Quality criteria with 0.2310, Delivery criteria with 0.1676 and Responsiveness criteria with 0.1171. then followed by forwarder A with the highest weight of 0.535, then forwarder B with 0.202, forwarder C with 0.145, and forwarder D with 0.119.

Abstract

The research objective is to identify influence factors that influence student entrepreneurial intention or student intention to become entrepreneur particularly for polytechnic students. This is very interisting because at the beginning, the student who going study to polytechnic just only expect to get a job quickly after their graduated. The sampling method of this reseach used purposive sampling whereas 165 selected samples were taken from up to 4 semester student of all study program that were participated in entrepreneurship learning program at Batam Polytechnic . The methods used for analysis were descriptive analysis and multiple linier regression analysis and processed by SPSS Software Tools. The student entrepreneurial intention would represented as dependend variable meanwhile the independend variable come from factors that represent sosio-demographic and environment characteristic of the students. The result of this research indicates that the existence of some factors particularly the environmental factors such as student entrepereneurship program, facilities and mentoring support by campus, parent support and existence of entrepreneur association having significant correlation statistically to students entrepreneurial intention of Polytechnic Students. It means those factors tend to higher influence for student to become entrepreneur. Meanwhile, the sosio-demographic factors such as gender, study program background, level of education program, parent occupation, have no significant correlation. The finding of research also was affirming the role of campus, parent and entepreuner communities have very important to support the student to become prospective entrepreneur. The finding related the role of those parties implies campus structurally should develop an integrated relationship model between the parties that allow the parties give optimal contribution or support, so therefore it should be maximized the positive effect for student entrepreneurial intention in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the process of marketing communication strategies such as: advertising, sales promotion, public relations and publicity, personal selling, and direct marketing conducted by PT. Indonesia Villajaya. The research data was obtained through direct observation, documentation, as well as in-depth interviews with five informants. This research method using descriptive qualitative method. Analysis of the data include: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that PT. Indonesia Villajaya conduct marketing communication strategy with reference to the integrated marketing communications strategy with process include: advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, personal selling, and community relations & publicity. With the process of the strategy undertaken during this helps in increasing the public's brand awareness, enhance brand image and increase sales for the company

Abstract

This research attempts to measuring the degree of customer satisfaction in of Electronic Certificate of Origin at Batam goods traffic office through the quality of service Electronic Certificate of Origin website. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Total of sample are 196 respondents. Data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive statistics. Data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive statistics. Importance Pefomance Analysis (IPA) diagram shows that services item dimensions were spread among three a quadrant, That is 6 in a quadrant “main priority”, that is 7 in a quadrant “keep up the pace the performance of existing at the present time”. 5 other items was at quadrant “low priority”. And 3 item was at “Emphasis overblown” position.
