Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out how, The Role of Parents in Raising a Child’s in Learning (A Case Study of a Class V SDN 02 Selimbau). The method in this study used is descriptive with qualitative forms of research. The source of this research is the parents in the villages in the district selimbau. The data-gathering technique in this study is through interviews, observations, and documentations, while the data-collection tool used is the guideline for interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis in the study is presented in a qualitative descriptive way by using the parents' four - person informers. The result show that: (1) The role of parents as motivator increasing interest in child study well categorized, this is proven with the parents always motivate her children to be diligent studying. (2) The role of parents as facilitators in increasing interest learning kids are good, this can be seen from facilities that was given to me by that good old man they include food, clothing, and shelter. (3) The role of the parent as the mediator in increasing interest in learning kids are pretty good, this stuff i can see the parents has good communication with her children.Keywords: Interest in Learning, Role, Parents

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out (1) how the reinforcement made by the teacher in the sociology subjects of class X IPS in SMAN 6 Pontianak (2) How are the students' learning outcomes in sociology subjects in class X IPS in SMAN 6 Pontianak (3) Is there any influence provision of reinforcement of student learning outcomes in sociology subjects in class X IPS in SMAN 6 Pontianak (4) How much influence the reinforcement of student learning outcomes in sociology subjects in class X IPS in SMAN 6 Pontianak. This type of research is survey research. The population in this study were 119 students with a sample of 92 students. Data collection techniques used are using indirect communication techniques and documentaries. Based on the research data obtained, it is stated that there is an influence between giving reinforcement on student learning outcomes in sociology subjects in class X IPS in SMAN 6 Pontianak by 3.8% with a correlation coefficient of 0.220 with a low level of interpretation. Based on the SPSS output table in the attachment with the Model title Summary can be determined the value of the correlation coefficient influence between the provision of reinforcement of learning outcomes of 0.220 (R) with Adjusted R Square 0.038 which was determined to 3.8%, meaning the effect of reinforcement the learning outcomes by 3.8%. Keywords: Reinforcement, Learning Outcomes, High School Student

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kerjasama spontan, kontrak, dan tradisional antar siswa kelas XII IIS 2 di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama spontan antar siswa telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, namun belum sempurna karena masih ada siswa yang kerjasama spontannya kurang baik. Selain itu kerjasama kontrak antar siswa sudah tercapai dengan baik, hal ini ditandai dengan adanya kerjasama antar siswa saat melaksanakan piket kelas dan adanya kemauan untuk meminjamkan perlengkapan sholat kepada siswa lain. Sedangkan kerjasama tradisional antar siswa juga telah berlangsung dengan baik diantara mereka terlihat saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain seperti halnya jajan dikantin, selalu ada salah satu siswa yang mengajak teman lainnya untuk jajan dikantin bersama, dan ajakan itu mendapat respon yang baik oleh teman lainnya hingga dapat dikatakan bahwa interaksi tersebut dapat mempengaruhi perilaku individu lainnya hingga terciptalah hubungan sosial diantara mereka. Kata Kunci : Analisis kerjasama, Kerjasama antar siswa. Abstrac: This study aimed to describe the spontaneous cooperation, contracts, and traditional inter IIS 2 class XII students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The method used is qualitative approach. The results showed that spontaneous cooperation among students have been executed better, but not perfect because there are students who are less well spontaneous cooperation. Besides the cooperation contract between the students has been reached with the good, it is characterized by cooperation between students when carrying picket class and their prayer materials to other students. While the traditional cooperation between students has also been going well between them visible influence each other as well as snacks at canteen, there is always one of the students who invited more friends for snacks at canteen together, and call it received good response by other friends to be said that these interactions may affect the behavior of other individuals by creating social relations among them.  Keywords : Analysis of cooperation, cooperation among students.

Abstract

AbstractThis research has the purpose to understand the social interaction among the customers of Tugu Limau Cafe in Dusun Mawar of Mekar Sekuntum village. The method used in this research is descriptive type of qualitative research. The source of the research data is the customers Tugu Limau Cafe. In collecting data, the method used are through observations, interviews, and documentation, while tools used in collecting data are observation and interview guidelines, notes and archives. The analysis in the research is presented in qualitative descriptive of four reliable information sources consist of customers and servants of the cafe. The outcome of this research shows that interaction among the customers of the café in the form of social contact and communication is going on very well, the café customers make primary social contact through face to face encounters, smiling towards each other’s, handshaking and hugging. There is also secondary social contact in the use of smartphones as the means of communication. The communication among the customers is going on well, which is proven by fact that the customers use verbal communication using the same language which is Bahasa Melayu Sambas, therefore the communication goes on fluently as both sides able to understand each other very well. Keywords: Cafe Customers, Social Interactions

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is The Role of Teacher in Developing Students critical thinking through Microsoft PowerPoint in Learning Sociology(A descriptive research at Year-11 Students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak). The general problem in this research is how the role of teacher in developingthe critical thinking of the students in analysing, recognizing, and solving problems in learning sociology by using powerpoint as the multimedia. The researcher used qualitative approach in this study. There were seven participants in this research, a sociology teacher and six students at year-11 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The research finding of this study indicates that teacher can develop students' critical thinking skills by showing them some examples such as pictures through powerpoint as the multimedia in teaching Sociology and making the examples related to the students daily life. The developing of students critical thinking skills is also evidenced by looking at the students skills in analysing, recognizing, and solving problem in learning sociology in classroom. The students were able to understanding the material that given by the teacher properly and they were good in concluding and giving feedbacks about the material. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the paskibra extracurricular activities in building students' confidence in SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data source of this research is student affairs, post-liberal extracurricular trainers, and students who take the paskibra extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya. Data obtained through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data collection tool used is an observation guide, interview guide and documentation. The results showed that (1) the process of paskibra extracurricular activities in building the confidence of students in Rasau Jaya 1 Public High School can be said to build students' self-confidence because during the extracurricular activities the paskibra students practice by believing in their own abilities and do not expect help from others. There is no student who shows a conformist attitude to get recognition from the group. Students interact well with their fellow friends and coaches so they have good self-control. Students are always eager and persistent to continue to practice so students do not easily give up on fate and not depend on others. (2) The efforts of the paskibra trainer in building the confidence of students through paskibra extracurricular activities at Rasau Jaya 1 Public High School can be said to build students' self-confidence because through several training programs carried out by paskibra trainers such as on-the-spot movements, moving movements, walking movements, praise and punishment can build confidence, mentality, responsibility, courage, independence and discipline. Keywords: Extracurricular, Paskibra, Self Confidence, Students

Abstract

AbstractThis research was to determine how the influence of the use of learning resources by students on learning outcomes of sociology subjects in class XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat. The research method used was a descriptive method with a form of relationship study research. Data collection techniques were through questionnaires and documentation studies. The research sample consisted of 64 students who were taken using simple random sampling. The results showed that the use of learning resources by class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat was good enough. The results of simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 20.0 program showed the effect of learning resources (X) on learning outcomes (Y) with the formulation Y = 42.906 + 0.461X. Based on SPSS 20.0 program calculations, t count was 6.741, the significance level was 0.000 and t table was 1.998. The value of t arithmetic ? t table (6,741 ? 1,998) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The coefficient of determination in this study showed that the contribution of the influence of variable X (learning resources) to variable Y (learning outcomes) is low in sociology subjects in class XI IIS, namely 0.257 or 25.7% while 74.3% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Learning Resourches, Learning Outcomes, Sociology Subject.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is entitled “An Analysis of the Use of Problem-Based Learning Approach based on Smartphone in Sociology Learning of Tenth Grade in SMA Islamiyah”. The research method employed was descriptive in qualitative form. The data sources of this research were a sociology teacher and four students of Class X IPS 1 SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. The data collection techniques were interview, observation and documentation, while the data collection tools were an interview guideline, an observation and a documentation. The analysis of this research was presented in descriptive qualitative form with five informants, a sociology teacher and four students. The results showed that the sociology teacher had done planning, implementation and leaning outcomes assessment in implementing problem-based learning approach based on smartphone in sociology learning at Class X IPS 1 in SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. However, there were some imperfections in the implementation of problem-based learning approach. The sociology teacher did not perform the steps in problem-based learning approach that is, analysing and evaluating the problem solving process, for instance. In the learning outcomes assessment of problem-based learning approach based on smartphone, the sociology teacher did not assess the learning outcomes in the affective aspect (attitude). Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, The Use of Smartphone, Sociology Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the role of teachers in instilling 7k ( faith, security, orderliness, cleanliness, beauty, shade, family) in SMPN 21 Pontianak. A common problem in this study was how the role of the teacher in planting a value of 7k in SMPN 21 Pontianak. The problems in this study are: 1) how the role of the teacher as an example in planting a value of 7k in SMPN 21 Pontianak. 2) how the role of the teacher as an motivator in planting 7k in SMPN 21 Pontianak. 3) how the role of teacher  as an supervisor in planting 7k in SMPN 21 Pontianak. This study aimed to describe the role of teacher in planting 7k in SMPN 21 Pontianak. The method used was a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection tool used observation guides, interview guides and with documentation tools. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the role of the teacher in planting 7k grades in SMPN 21 Pontianak is still not going well. Based on the results of the study shows that there are still a number of 7k programs that are still not well implemented by students such as: 1) security where there are still students carrying items that are prohibited by schools such as (cellphones, make up and jewelry). 2) orderliness seen that there are still students who still do not complete the attributes and arrive late at school. 3) cleanliness seen there are still students who throw rubbish in the school environment and in the class room.        Keyword:  Teacher’r Role, Value of 7K

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to study the Analysis of Social Value Planting by Parents in School Age Children in Peniti Besar Village, Segedong District. In this study the method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. parents and school-age children of eight people were taken as samples. Data collection tools are using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and study documentation. Planting social values instilled by parents is a material value, Pananaman material value of something useful for the body, in this material value includes two aspects, namely meeting the needs of children's clothing such as clothes, pants and others, and meet the nutritional needs of children like giving healthy and nutritious food like vegetables, meat, and fruits. Vital values, which are vital values that are instilled by parents related to everything that is useful for humans or children to carry out activities by facilitating children and spiritual values, in instilling spiritual values in school-age children have been carried out by their parents telling their children to prayers and there are also told their children to follow the recitation around his residence.Keywords: Social Value Cultivation, Parents of School Age Children.
