AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the application of guided inquiry learning models on the learning outcomes of students on Newton's style and law material in class VIII Pontianak Islamic MTs. The form of this research is Quasi Experimental Design with Non equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is intact group. AbstractThe aims of this research to determine the effectiviness of Predic-Observe-Explain Model using Comic to reduce students misconception in linear motion. This study was a quasy experimental with Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The population of this study was tenth grade students in SMP Darut Tauhid Sungai Raya. Theparticipants of this study were 28 students from VII A (control group) and 31 stundents from VII B (experiment group). Z test was used on this study with the significance is 5%. There was sifnificant diferences between Predic-Observe-Explain Model using Comic with conventional model to reduce student misconception in fluida statis. The effectiveness of the misconception remediation activities in linear motion is a accompanied by an Predic-Observe-Explain Model using Comic to reduce the number of students who experienced misconceptions using the DQM price of 70,7% (high category). Predic-Observe-Explain Model using Comic effective to reduce students misconception in linear motion concept. Keywords: Comic, linear Motion, Misconception, POE, Remediation.

AbstractThe purposed of this research was to determine the effectiveness of remediation misconception by using Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model to reduce the number of the students who have misconceptions about vibration at SMP Negeri 5 Sambas. This research method was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. This research used intact group random sampling which involved 24 students of VIII C class. The diagnostic test which consists of 12 multiple choices with open reason used to identification students’ misconceptions. Based on data analysis, there was a decrease percentage the number of the students’ who have misconceptions with an average of 75.75 %. The results of the McNemar test showed χ2score (125.83) higher than χ2table (3.84) which means that the students’ conceptual changed significantly after the remediation activity using SSCS model. The remediation effectiveness based on DQM score with an average of 77% (high category). The SSCS model is expected to be used as alternative remediation activities to reduce the number of the students’ who have misconceptions. Keywords: Misconception, Remediation, SSCS, Vibration

Abstrack This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of learning model picture and picture to the students' learning outcomes on the impulse and momentum materials in the class X SMK AL-Madani Pontianak, the research form used was quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Population in this research was student of class X SMK AL-Madani Pontianak. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique with class X RPL as experiment class and class X TKJ-1 as control class. Data collection was done by measurement technique. The data collection tool was an essaybased learning test consisting of 5 questions with a reliability level of 0.6. Based on the result of posttest data analysis using non parametric statistic test U Mann Whitney test with α 5% obtained -Zhit ≤ -Ztab is -4,889 <-1,96. This shows that there was a difference between the students' learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class. The result of calculation of effect size is 0,9 (31,59%) which means study model picture and picture give high influence to result of student learning. AbstractThis study aims to calculate the percentage of students’ misconceptions reduction based on the level of knowledge and the effectiveness of remediation using clinical interviews in the Madurese language about Archimedes’ law in teaching Physics at MTs Arrahman Sungai Raya. This research method was Case Study. The participants in this study were 9 students who were divided into three groups of students knowledge levels, high, medium, and low. The “paper pencil test” with three options was used as instrument of this study. Based on data analysis, there were obtained that the average percentage of students’ misconceptions reduction based on high, medium, and low knowledge levels were 87.5%; 64.6%; and 68.8%. The average of reduction in percentage in the number of misconceptions of all students after being remedied was 48.5%. Based on the calculation of effectiveness (∆S) shows that clinical interviews using the Madurese language are effective in remediating misconceptions about Archimedes law for the eighth grade students of MTs Arrahman Sungai Raya with an ∆S as 0.86 (high category: ∆S > 0.7).Keywords: Clinical Interview, Mother Language, Archimedes Law

Abstract The purpose of conducting this research is to know the effectiveness of the levels of inquiry learning model in remediating the misconception of students of Junior High School 16 in Pontianak about pressure material. The form of this research is one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research was VIII B. This class consisted of 30 students. The sample was designated by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection was diagnostic test through pre-test and post-test. The mean of percentage in the pre-test was 63.3% and the post-test was 22 %. The mean of student misconception decrease was 77%. Based on the DQM test, the effectiveness of remediation was 65% (Medium level). The result of the Mc Nemar test was obtained 31.25 of is higher than 3.84 of . There was a significant result after remedial misconceptions by using levels of inquiry learning model on the pressure material The teachers are expected to use this learning model levels of inwquiry as an alternative media to remediate student’s misconceptions on pressure material. Abstracthitung This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of CUPS learning model assisted by PhET simulations to reduce the learners’ misconceptions on a harmonic osilation at SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. This study was conducted through an experimental study in the form of pre-experimental design by one group pre-test post- test design with a total sample of 23 students in class X MIA 4. The instrument used in this study was a diagnostic test which consists of 10 multiple-choice questions in the form of open ground. From the calculation of the result of pretest and posttest data, there was a reduction number of learners who had misconceptions (average∆S= 57.75%) after remediation with CUPS learning model assisted by PhET simulations. Based on the analysis using the McNemar test, there was a significant conceptual change occurred (32 = 15.27; df = 1; α = 5%) after remediation with CUPSlearning model assisted by PhET simulations. The application of CUPS learning model assisted by PhET simulations were effective in decreasing the learners’ misconceptions with high category (O = 6,75). This research hopefully can be used as an alternative way to reduce the number of learners’ misconceptions in learning activities.Keyword: Conceptual Understanding Procedures, Harmonic Oscillation, Misconceptions

ABSTRAKThis study aims to determine the state of misconceptions on global warmingexperienced by students at SMA Negeri 1 Serawai and see whether there aredifferences in the proportion of misconceptions between male and femalestudents. The research method used is descriptive in the form of quantitativeresearch. The subjects of this study were students of class XI science for the2018/2019 academic year and the data was student answer sheets for thediagnostic test (AREPDiT). The results showed that 22 out of 29 people (75.86%)students had misconceptions about global warming. When viewed by gender, thenumber of male students who experienced misconceptions was 14 out of a total of16 people (87.50%), while the number of female students who experiencedmisconceptions was 8 out of a total of 13 people (53.84%). Thus, it can be saidthat male students experience greater misconceptions than female students.Keywords: Description, Global Warming, Misconception, Students

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to improve students learning outcomes of heat transfer material on Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method conducted in this research was pre-experimental method with one-group pretest-postest research design. The sample of this research was Class VII A using Simple Random Sampling technique. The data of learning outcomes was conducted using 6 questions with multiple choices and 4 essay questions. The technique of data analysis conducted in this research was Wilcoxon Test. The conducted Wilcoxon Test showed that the sig. result was 0.000 (<0.05) which means there was such differences on students learning outcomes of science before and after learning. The improvement of students learning outcomes was 20.7 with learning effectiveness about 1.3 and categorized as high in improving students learning outcomes on Class VII A SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak, so it concluded that the use of Predict, Observe, Discuss, Explain (PODE) learning model could improve the students learning outcomes on heat transfer material.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Heat Transfer, PODE Model

AbstractThis study aimed to measure the effect of Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transfering (REACT) model to remediate student’s misconceptions on the Direct-current Electrical Circuit topic at junior high school 10 Pontianak. The sample of this study were 39 students class IX A selected based on intact groups. The instrument consisted 6 multiple choice questions with open reasons for each pretest and posttest. Remediation activities were carried out twice, for the Direct-current Electrical Circuit topic, assisted by the LKPD and PhET simulations. From the results of study shows that the percentage of student’s who have misconceptions decreased. Average percentage reduction of students who have misconceptions using the REACT model at Pontianak 10 State Junior High School is 51%, and effectiveness of the REACT model in the medium category with value 0.351. Based on the results of this study indicated that the REACT learning model was effective to remediate students' misconceptions on the Direct-current Electrical Circuit topic at class IX of Pontianak 10 State Junior High School.
