Abstract

Fisika merupakan ilmu pengetahuan yang mempelajari tentang fenomena alam berdasarkan penalaran logika dan kerja ilmiah. Pembelajaran fisika yang masuk dalam rumpun IPA sehingga harus memperhatukan hakikat IPA, sehingga dapat mengembangkan pemahaman konsep, kemampuan berpikir peserta didik, mengembangkan daya pikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah. Namun pembelajaran yang tidak dirancang dengan baik menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar dan miskonsepsi. Siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi terkadang tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya mengalami miskonsepsi, sehingga penting bagi guru untuk melakukan upaya dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa dengan menggunakan tes diagnostik, sehingga tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai yaitu pengembangan two tier diagnostik test untuk mendeteksi miskonsepsi siswa SMA pada materi gerak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan dari Borg Gall yang sudah mengalami modifikasi. Pengembangn two tier diagnostik test pada materi gerak dilakukan dengan melakukan kajian hasil penelitian untuk mendapatkan daftar miskonsepsi yang sering dialami oleh siswa pada materi gerak. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kompetensi dasar yang berhubungan dengan materi gerak yaitu gerak lurus, gerak parabola dan gerak melingkar. Dari setiap KD maka akan dianalisis sebuah indikator. Indikator akan digabungkan dengan miskonsepsi yang ditemukan tadi untuk mendapatkan indikator soal sehingga dihasilkan two tier diagnostik test untuk mendeteksi miskonsepsi siswa SMA pada materi gerak.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Generatif membantu siswa mengkonstruksi pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan seccara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kendari dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran generatif tentang materi gerak lurus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada peserta didik kelas X MAN 1 Kendari yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan melalui; 1) pembelajaran pada siklus I dan siklus II; 2) Pemberian tes hasil belajar setiap akhir siklus dan 3) pengisian lembar observasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa adalah sebesar 65,08 dengan persentase ketuntasan 67,86% dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus II adalah sebesar 74,23 dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,71%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran generatif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kendari tentang materi gerak lurus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to identify student's multi-representation ability about work at MA Negeri Bengkayang. The method used is the survey method without comparative group which is descriptive correlative with research instrument in the form of descriptive test on the multi-representation ability test of five questions and multiple-choice test on the learning outcomes test often questions. the validity of the multi-representation test was 3.45 whit valid criteria and the validity of the learning outcomes test was 3.52 with valid criteria Meanwhile, the reliability of the multi-representation test was 0.516 in the sufficient category and the reliability of the learning outcomes test was 0.55 in the sufficient category. The study found that the multi-representation ability of students was low with an average percentage of 33.08%. The multi-representation ability of students with the highest percentage is in the image to symbol representation type, which is 75%, while the multi-representation ability of students with the lowest percentage is in the verbal to mathematical representation type, which is 5.19%. This study also did not found a correlation (r count 0.04 > r table 0.4848) between multi-representation ability and student's learning outcomes. The result of this study is expected to be taken into consideration in determining learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to understand the concept of physics, the relationship between interest in learning and understanding the concept, the relationship between learning motivation and understanding the concept, and the relationship between interest and motivation to learn with the ability to understand the concept of physics in class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The form of research used is correlational with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the ability to understand the physics concept of work and energy was an average percentage of 43% category less than once. The highest indicator of students' concept understanding is translation with a percentage of 61% in the sufficient category, while the lowest indicator of concept understanding is extrapolation with a percentage of 27.5% category less than once. In this study, there is a relationship between interest in learning and understanding of physics concepts of 0.399 which is at the level of a weak relationship. In addition, there is a relationship between learning motivation and understanding of physics concepts of 0.440 at the moderate level of relationship. Then there is a relationship between interest and motivation to learn with understanding the concept of physics of 0.505 which is at the moderate level of relationship. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration in determining learning strategies to improve students' conceptual understanding skills and increase students' interest and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Soal evaluasi hasil belajar yang dibuat secara online dan video pembahasan soal tersebut merupakan kebutuhan yang penting dan mendesak di masa pandemi covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil self-assessment, guru IPA yang tergabung di dalam MGMP IPA Kabupaten Kubu Raya belum optimal memanfaatkan google form untuk menyusun soal online dan sebagian besar guru belum pernah membuat video pembahasan soal. Fitur form limiter dan form builder masih jarang digunakan guru ketika membuat soal online menggunakan google form. Hampir semua guru belum bisa merekam layar menggunakan faststone capture dan mengunggah video yang dibuat pada halaman youtube. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini dilakukan workshop penyusunan soal online menggunakan google form dan video pembahasan soal menggunakan faststone capture. Setelah workshop dilakukan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menyusun soal online sebesar 9,96% dan peningkatan kemampuan peserta membuat video pembahasan soal menggunakan faststone capture sebesar 77,25%. Diharapkan guru membuat bank soal online untuk kebutuhan evaluasi hasil belajar IPA dan mengunggah video pembahasan soal tersebut sebagai feedback bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

A preliminary survey conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak showed that the learning outcomes of students did not meet the basic school completeness criteria. The purpose of this study was to see whether the problem based learning model and guided exercises could help students majoring in welding engineering at SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak improve their learning outcomes. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach. The sample in this study were students of class X.A and X.B majoring in welding engineering at SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak in the academic year 2021/2022 with the sampling technique being intact group. The research data was obtained through pretest and posttest data and processed quantitatively. The results showed that both the experimental class and the control class there was an increase in learning outcomes. Learning outcomes in the experimental class increased from the class average of 24.86 to 82.40, with an N-gain value of 0.76 in the high category. While in the control class, there was an increase from the average class value of 26.31 to 77.97 with an N gain value of 0.69 in the medium category. Thus it can be concluded that improving learning outcomes is more effective with the implementation of problem based learning and guided exercises.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet pada materi momentum dan impuls untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri di Pontianak. Secara khusus bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi karakteristik butir tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet disusun pada materi momentum dan impuls. (2) mengetahui kelayakan tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet pada materi momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dikembangkan dengan model Four-D menggunakan 9 langkah pengembangan tes diagnostik menurut Mardapi. Tes tediri dari 12 soal pokok yang masing-masing terdiri dari 3 subsoal, total keseluruhan 36 soal. Data kualitatif didapatkan dari validasi tim ahli yang merupakan guru mata pelajaran fisika dan dosen Pendidikan Fisika FKIP UNTAN. Uji skala kecil dengan subjek peserta didik kelas XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 3 melibatkan 23 peserta didik, dan uji skala besar di kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3, XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7, dan XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 melibatkan 98 peserta didik. Karakteristik yang digunakan adalah karakteristik menurut Sutrisno. Berdasarkan analisis data, didapat tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan dengan model teslet dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik, yaitu: (1) tingkat validitas isi tinggi sebesar 0,94, (2) validitas butir soal lebih dari 0,413 dan 0,195 dengan jumlah soal valid sebanyak 36 soal, (3) reliabilitas tinggi sebesar 0,893, (4) tingkat kesukaran soal kategori sedang, (5) soal dibuat dengan bahasa yang sederhana dengan tingkat keterbacaan 7,05, sehingga soal yang dapat digunakan sebanyak 36 soal.Kata Kunci: Kesulitan Belajar; Tes Diagnostik; Teslet; Momentum dan ImpulsDevelopment of Diagnostic Tests Using Teslet Models to Identify High School Students' Learning Difficulties on Momentum and ImpulseABSTRACTThis study aims to produce diagnostic tests using a teslet model on momentum and impulse to identify learning difficulties for state high school students in Pontianak. It specifically aims to: (1) identify the characteristics of diagnostic test items using a teslet model composed on momentum and impulse materials. (2) knowing the feasibility of diagnostic tests using a teslet model on momentum and impulse materials. This research was a research and development developed with the Four-D model using 9 steps of diagnostic test development according to Mardapi. The test consisted of 12 main questions, each consisting of 3 sub-questions, a total of 36 questions. Qualitative data was obtained from the validation of a team of experts who are physics teachers and lecturers of Physics Education FKIP UNTAN. The small-scale test with the subjects of class XI science 6 SMA Negeri 3 students involved 23 students, and the large-scale test in class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3, XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7, and XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 involved 98 students. The characteristics used were those according to Sutrisno. Based on data analysis, diagnostic tests developed with a teslet model could be used to identify students' learning difficulties, namely: (1) a high content validity level of 0.94, (2) the validity of question items of more than 0.413 and 0.195 with a total of 36 valid questions, (3) high reliability of 0.893, (4) difficulty level of medium category questions, (5) questions made in simple language with a readability level of 7.05, so that the questions that could be used were as many as 36 questions.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the types and causes of difficulties experienced by students in solving HOTS questions on harmonic vibration material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak with a total sample of 44 people. Data collection techniques are giving HOTS test questions and interviews to students of class XI science. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. experiences experienced by students in accordance with Heller's problem solving. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the factors causing students to be less than optimal in solving HOTS questions (1) difficulty visualizing problems caused by students not understanding the questions, and lack of habituation to rotate the questions. the problem in the question becomes an image; (2) lack of ability to understand the problem; (3) lack of understanding of the concept; (4) errors in the physical description stage and the solution plan stage, students do not know the concepts used in the problem, and do not master arithmetic operations; (5) students are in a hurry and are less thorough in completing and checking answers. The average percentage of difficulties experienced by students is 85.17% with a very high category.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pra-riset di SMAN 3 Pontianak, sebagian besar peserta didik belum mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Perlunya diterapkan model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Salah satunya ialah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran  Argument Based Science Inquiry (ABSI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  kefektifan penerapan  model pembelajaran ABSI dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis tentang kalor. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental dengan  design one group pretest-posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 5 yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis sebelum  pembelajaran (pretest) dengan persentase sebesar 41 % tergolong cukup dan mengalami peningkatan setelah pembelajaran menjadi 75 % tergolong  baik. Hasil uji t dependent sample diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 , kurang dari α/2 (0,025 ) yang menunjukkan  terdapat peningkatan secara signifikan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran ABSI. Selain itu, diperoleh nilai gain ternormalisasi  sebesar 0,57  yang tergolong sedang. Penerapan model  pembelajaran ABSI dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif  dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Force is one the physics cocncepts which is challenging for students. Several tests have been developed to measure students’ understanding about force. However, the instruments for assessing students’ competence to represent force concepts in various formats are limited. This study aims to develop and validate a multiple-choice test to assess students’ representational competence of force. Research and Development research is implemented in producing the test. The test includes three representations: graphs, equations, and words or descriptions which covers two contexts: on horizontal surface and on inclined plane. Moreover, this test involves three different situations namely an object is at rest, moving with constant velocity, and moving with constant acceleration. Each representation consists of 10 items and the total of items is 30. This test is administered to 51 undergraduate physics education students. The results show that the range of item difficulty index is 0.07-0.64 and discrimantory power is from 0.14 to 1.00. The reliability index for representational competence test of force to be 0.80 which is sufficiently high measurement. These results suggest that couple items of the test need to be revised before administering to the large sample
