Abstract

Microcontroller technology with Arduino nano as Atmega328 as a control system allows it to be implemented in an automatic faucet water system and pump soap automatically. With a dc pump motor as a soap dispenser pump. The IR obstacle sensor will get a trigger by detecting an object in front of the sensor, the input from this sensor will move the water pump sinleader motor to drain the water, using a mini water pump motor to run liquid soap under the control of the Arduino nano Atmega328. The purpose of this research is to make a tool that can help people wash their hands and place soap and water without touching them using an Arduino nano Atmega328 icrocontroller and an IR obstacle as a sensor. The results of this study are the implementation of the hand washer system and the automatic liquid soap bottle system based on the Arduino nano Atmega328 microcontroller on the sink to function properly. The IR obstacle sensor can detect objects within the sensor range, automatically responding to faucet water or soap in bottles that can come out.

Abstract

Kepulauan Ayau merupakan salah satu pulau terluar yang ada di Indonesia berada di bagian Indonesia Timur yang berada di bagian utara dari Provinsi Papua Barat. Sulitnya akses menuju ke kepulauan Ayau selain dari jaraknya yang jauh dari Pulau Waigeo juga terdapat karang-karang laut indah yang mengelilingi kepulauan Ayau. Karang-karang tersebut menyebabkan kapal harus berhati-hati untuk masuk kedalam perairan kepulauan Ayau ketika melewati alur pelayaran sempit untuk dapat sandar di pulau Abidon. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa fishbone dalam menentukan faktor – faktor penunjang keselamatan pelayaran di alur pelayaran sempit kepulauan Ayau.  Alur pelayaran dikepulauan Ayau tidak terdapat buoy sebagai rambu pemandu pada alur pelayaran sempit. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sekitar terhadap keselamatan pelayaran adalah memasang ranting kayu pada batu karang yang dangkal sebagai penanda alur pelayaran. Kearifan lokal yang peduli dengan keselamatan pelayaran ini berharap bisa memandu kapal untuk bisa mampir dan menunjukan keindahan karang laut di kepulauan Ayau.

Abstract

Black Soldier Fly (BSF) is a fly that can produce a maggot or larvae that are useful for human life, like a decomposer waste in the form of composting, animal feed, animal oil production, source of chitin, and for the economic incomes of the society. This study aims to develop a device that can be used to control the maggot cage temperature and humidity using the ESP8266 microcontroller based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The benefit of this study is the utilization of nozzle-based water spraying that can be used to maintain the maggot cage temperature and humidity to improve the quality of maggot cultivation results. In this study, the sensor used to read the temperature and humidity on the maggot cage is DHT11, then used a water spraying method to handle the temperature and humidity controlled by using the ESP8266 and online based on the Blynk IoT platform. This study result shows that the device built in this study can maintain the maggot cage temperature between 28 to 30oC and humidity over 60%.

Abstract

In the era of technology 5.0, many people have been able to create new value through technological developments that occur from time to time. This change can help minimize the gap in people and economic problems in the future. One of the fastest growing technologies every year is an application on a smartphone. There are so many variations of applications, this is because smartphone users are increasing from time to time. Existing developments are an opportunity for the Garbage Bank to support the zero waste program and improve Garbage Bank services to the community. This study aims to develop a Garbage Bank application as a means of ordering waste transportation services and viewing educational information, as well as activities from the Sorong Raya Garbage Bank (BSSR). Application development will use the Extreme Programming method, with the stages of Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. This method was chosen because it can increase user satisfaction due to continuous communication in application development and is suitable for use by small teams. The application can be used on the Android operating system. The application was developed using Android Studio and Flutter tools. To ensure the system is running properly, it will be tested with alpha testing. The results of the alpha testing of all functional systems can run as expected so it can be concluded that the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

The implementation of the Garbage Bank program is strived to be able to provide benefits and economic value from waste management, its existence is expected to have a direct impact on the people's economy so that it can be implemented easily. The Sorong Raya Garbage Bank (BSSR) has 108 Unit Waste Banks, 3,131 Customers, so it is only appropriate for BSSR to have an integrated management information system to support its business processes and operations. So far, BSSR management has not run optimally, because data loss often occurs, each division and level has data that is out of sync, difficulty finding data due to inconsistent writing and flow, the resulting reports are not optimal so that it has an impact on decision making. The research will be conducted using the extreme programming method. The output of this research is a waste bank management information system that can help BSSR integrate the management of each division and level so that business and operational processes can run effectively and efficiently. The system will be designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). System testing will use the Black Box method. The results of the black box test state that the input and output of the Sorong Raya Garbage Bank Management Information System are appropriate.

Abstract

Lack of technical knowledge about salted fish packaging causes the selling price of salted fish on Reni Island to be low. Salted fish is a flagship product in Reni Island. This aims of this program to provide additional knowledge and skills for the community, especially housewives on Reni Island regarding the handling and packaging of salted fish. This activity was held on October 14, 2021 on the coast of Reni, Ayau Islands, Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Province in collaboration between 10 (ten) universities in the Sorong Raya area (DIKTISORAYA Forum). The methods used include lectures, training, and discussions. Procedures for handling and packaging salted fish include: sorting fish by type and size; weighing; labeling and packaging. Salted fish handling and packaging activities run smoothly, efficiently and effectively. The suggestions for community service that should be done on Reni Island are offline and online marketing training and microeconomic management as a trigger for improving the welfare of the people of Reni Island.

Abstract

Saint Paul Sorong Polytechnic is one of the universities in Sorong City, which consists of several departments and also does not have a website as a means to provide official information from each department, one of which is the Department of Computer Network Engineering Technology. So the purpose of this research is that the department's information system can be displayed through the official website and make it easier for students to register for KKN-PPM & Job Training. The purpose of this research is to facilitate data processing for the TRKJ department, to facilitate students who will register for KKN-PPM & Job Training, to produce a website that can function as a medium of information and communication that is more effective and efficient. This research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or the system development life cycle is the process used by systems analysts to develop information systems, starting from planning, determining requirements, and designing. The results of the black box testing are a web-based Computer Network Engineering Technology Information System in accordance with what is expected in this study, it can be seen from the system according to what is produced from the system being tested, such as inputting, deleting, and editing data in the system, performing KKN-PPM registration and practical work as expected, namely being able to print proof of registration and upload reports.

Abstract

Kabupaten Rajaampat salah satu kepulauan di Provinsi Papua Barat di Indonesia. Wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara yang datang sebelum Covid-19 pada tahun 2019 bisa mencapai 32.000 pengunjung (sumber: kumparan.com). Di masa Pandemic Covid-19 hampir tidak ada sama sekali pengunjung yang datang sehingga sangat berdampak bagi perekonomian UMKM di wilayah Kabupaten Raja Ampat. UMKM tidak efektif lagi melakukan promosi dan publikasi objek wisata dengan cara konvensional, harus ada terobosan baru dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, database maupun smartphone android.  Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan dari penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan solusi berupa perancangan dan pembuatan sistem informasi website pariwisata Rajaampat dengan berbasis android. Metode pendekatan pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai modelnya. Sistem yang dibuat dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu sistem backend berbasis web dengan PHP dan database MySql, dan aplikasi android berbasis mobile untuk wisatawan. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu (1) website gotriprajaampat.com yang dapat diakses melalui website dan smartphone android. (2) publikasi di media cetak Papua Barat Pos, Publikasi media online di website terdepan.co.id, terdepan.co.id/live/  dan (3) publikasi media youtube.

Abstract

Innovation in robotics and the Internet of Things is a technological trend that continues to be developed, including in transportation innovations, such as a car. What is developed in this research is the development of the application of robots and the Internet of Things (IoT) in a mini car prototype design which can be remotely controlled as well. This prototype design uses the engineering design process method which integrates all supporting devices in the form of NodeMCU with ESP8266 base as a control center that allows communication between various sensors and actuators with the internet, TT Motor Gear as an actuator and L298n as an output translator. This mini smart car is controlled using Blynk as an internet-connected controller and for remote control of car movement using a smartphone. The results of this study are the average remote control capability has a car movement delay of 0.87 seconds and 100% of cars move in all directions. The better the internet connection, the more stable the movement of the car to be driven remotely.
