Abstract

Quantitative research is one of the key pillars in the development of science and technology. In this era of globalization, the ability to conduct quality research has become essential for students, especially management students. One of the popular and effective statistical methods for quantitative research is Partial Least Squares (PLS). This community engagement activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of management students in processing quantitative data using PLS methods for their research. The training was conducted over two days with a total of 30 final-semester students participating in the drafting of the thesis. The training material includes basic PLS concepts, measurement models, structural models, the operation of SmartPLS software, as well as the interpretation of the analysis results. The methods used in this training are lectures, demonstrations, and practical practice. The results of this training show an improved understanding of the PLS concept, the ability to operate PLS software, and the ability to correctly interpret analysis results by students. This training is expected to improve the quality of students' research and prepare them for the world of management work

Abstract

Background: Occupational health and safety (OHS) programs are essential for ensuring the well-being of employees, particularly in sectors with high-risk environments such as the energy industry. The data were collected from 35 employees of PT PLN UP3 Sorong through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. Results: The findings reveal that OHS has a significant and positive effect on employee productivity. The results indicate that improvements in OHS practices lead to an increase in work productivity among employees. The statistical analysis shows that the implementation of OHS is crucial in boosting employee performance, and the correlation between the variables is strong. Conclusion: The study concludes that OHS significantly contributes to enhancing employee productivity at PT PLN UP3 Sorong. The findings emphasize the importance of investing in OHS programs to improve employee well-being and organizational performance. Abstract

-This community service program aims to improve quantitative research competency of Management students through Partial Least Squares (PLS) training in writing theses. Using the PAR-ADDIE blended learning model, this program involved 120 participants with a real case study of PT. Ritel Indonesia Jaya. The results showed a significant increase: the post-test score increased by 35.8 points (from 42.5 to 78.3) with knowledge retention of 71.4% after 3 months. The implementation of PLS in 30 theses resulted in a convergent validity (AVE>0.6) of 92% and a composite reliability of 0.85. The economic impact is reflected in the ROI of 214%, which was obtained through: 18% increase in customer retention rate of industry partners (+Rp8.2 billion/year), Research cost savings of Rp1.3 billion, and Operational efficiency of Rp950 million. The formation of a community of practitioners (153 active members) and 28 new case studies in 4 months indicate an undesirable program. Key challenges include the adaptation of SmartPLS 4.2 technology and the need for hybrid data integration. The program demonstrates the effectiveness of triple helix collaboration in bridging academia-industry, while providing a replicable model for data-driven methodological capacity development in higher education
