Abstract

Salah satu seni pertunjukan yang melegenda di masyaralat Jawa, khususnya di Cirebon adalah seni pertunjukan tari Sintren yang sarat akan nuansa mistisnya dan masih diminati sebagian besar masyarakat Cirebon sebagai seni pertunjukan kesenian tari di desa Jemaras Kidul, Kecamatan Klangenan, Kabupaten Cirebon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskipsikan proses interaksi secara simbolik yang terjadi dalam pertunjukan kesenian tari Sintren di desa Jemaras Kidul, Kecamatan Klangenan, Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumplan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses interaksi secara simbolik yang terjadi dalam pertunjukan tari Sintren Cirebon berdasarkan teori Interaksi Simbolik dari George Herbert Mead dimana pada seni budaya membentuk makna pikiran, diri dan masyarakat para pelaku seni dan penonton terhadap proses atau tahapan pertunjukan tari Sintren, penerapan makna dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, pakaian, aksesoris, perkembangan tari Sintren, dan fungsi tari Sintren bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Indonesia, most of the affected companies have tried to limit the space for activities in the office and change the work system of their employees to work more from home or, in other terms, the Work From Home (WFH) work system to reduce the risk of transmission. Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to describe how the function of organizational communication in implementing the WFH work system that occurs to employees, especially in private companies in Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. The qualitative research approach collects data from interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study illustrate that since the implementation of the WFH work system during the Covid-19 pandemic, the informative, regulatory, persuasive, and integrative organizational communication functions for employees have continued to run but have encountered various obstacles, such as the informative function relies heavily on online media communication in disseminating, discussing and provide work instructions between superiors and subordinates. The regulatory function is still considered less than optimal by employees regarding eligibility criteria, means of communication, and compensation for employees who have to work full time from the office. Likewise, the leadership's persuasive function is still not running, especially in making immediate decisions and monitoring the quality and discipline of employees. Meanwhile, the integrative communication function is carried out entirely through the internet.

Abstract

Building harmony in an organization is very important for a large organization like Greenpeace, because to make a big event one of its success is good communication with their team. Because Greenpeace very often interacts with volunteers they even open up opportunities if the community wants to join in this environmental-related organization. This study discusses the role of group communication in building harmonious relationships within volunteer groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of group communication in building harmonious relationships among Greenpeace Indonesia volunteers. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The results of this study indicate that the role of groups in effective communication can build harmonious relationships within the group as well as members who play an active role in building communication to maintain harmony within the Greenpeace Indonesia group of organizations. Communication development is carried out by making Line Communication in every activity that takes place as well as providing information in the Whatsapp group. Researcher's suggestion related to this research is to create a closer and more harmonious relationship, communication can also be done by adding activities between staff and volunteers

Abstract

PT PJB UP Muara Karang has a social responsibility to create corporate business sustainability by supporting the creation of social sustainability and preserving the environment. Therefore, the PR of PT PJB UP Muara Karang carries out a social activity program, namely integrated sewing houses as a source of income in Muara Angke. This study seeks to determine the Role of PT PJB UP Muara Karang's Public Relations in its Corporate Social Responsibility Program to Develop the Sewing House Program (Sangkrini). In this study, the authors employed a descriptive qualitative research method, utilizing informants as data sources, and interviewing procedures to obtain data. Interviews were conducted with three informants, including the Public Relations CSR officer of PT PJB Up Muara Karang and the CDO of Muara Karang. The results indicate that the role of public relations has performed admirably and optimally in delivering benefits for the moms in the Muara Angke region so that they can earn their own money and receive support in the field of community empowerment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of life. Likewise with the CJ CGV Cinemas cinema, which experienced the same thing, therefore the researchers tried to examine the existing problems through the theory of communication strategy. Researchers want to know how the communication strategy implemented by CJ CGV Cinemas' public relations to maintain its existence during the current pandemic through its concept, namely culturelex. This study uses a descriptive approach and constructivism paradigm. Data collection was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. In selecting research informants, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the public relations of CJ CGV Cinemas through its communication strategy to implement the cultureplex concept through official social media accounts, write press releases and hold media visits, conduct non-film activities such as social activities to become a place for elderly vaccines, present innovative new concepts. , and the last one presents alternative content.

Abstract

he destruction of coral reefs in Gili Trawangan Lombok does not prevent the preservation of nature for the creatures that live in the seas of Gili Trawangan Lombok. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategies carried out by the Vespa Orijingan community in conserving coral reefs in Gili Trawangan Lombok. The strategy for conserving coral reefs is in accordance with the ā€œPā€ theory of the process carried out by this community. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive analysis with the case study method of Robert K. Yin. The paradigm in this study uses post-positivism. In this study using the theory of planning and communication strategies from Hafied Cangara so that in theory it gives the result that this community has a strategy in the "P" process where activities are carried out in a unique way and uploaded on Instagram social media.

Abstract

The The HPTL (Other Tobacco Processing) industry is experiencing a fairly rapid development of innovation and technology. These developments have resulted in competition between one company and another. With the development of information and communication technology, companies must be able to communicate their marketing effectively to disseminate information and attract consumers to make purchases related to the products of their company. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with post-positivism paradigm. The results of this study indicate that UPODS implements a marketing communication mix through advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publications, direct and interactive marketing, and personal selling.

Abstract

The existence of a culture of reading books / literacy in the PT Bagindo Kayu Putih Selatan company is a phenomenon that is still rarely found among the public, especially in companies. Due to the lack of sensitivity to issues and understanding of the employees, the founders of the company created an organizational culture by establishing a Book Reading Club for their employees, every day they read one book and then discussed it together. Organizational Culture according to Robbins 2003: 305 (in Sulaksono 2015)) explains that organizational culture is a system of shared meanings held by members that distinguishes an organization from other organizations. This research was investigated with a post-positivistic paradigm with a qualitative approach that aims to examine the phenomenon in depth, the method used is a case study. Based on the results of interviews and observations made, it can be concluded that in addition to building literacy and adding insight, the purpose of the founders of the company is to train employees in communicating and arguing so that they can act optimally in the digital world to their audiences.

Abstract

In a company or organization has a social responsibility to the environment around the company which can be an opportunity to achieve economic, social and environmental balance as well as to meet the expectations of the company's stakeholders. One thing that can be done is to carry out CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) through programs Art In a Cup, namely empowerment education for coffee farmers in North Sumatra, especially Karo district. The purpose of this study is to determine the planning and implementation of the CSR Art In a Cup program that Starbucks Indonesia is doing. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods through interviews, observation, documentation, and librarian studies. The results of the research in this study were seen from Starbucks Indonesia's strategy in creating economic, environmental and social sustainability for farmers using the C.A.F.E Practices system which is Starbucks Indonesia's guideline for implementing the CSR Art In a Cup program and with the existence of a team controller, namely Sumatra Specialty Coffee.

Abstract

The EXO boyband community or who have an EXO-L nickname is a community that was formed because of the large enthusiasm of Kpop fans to be able to express their love for their idols. Boyband EXO is a boyband from South Korea consisting of nine members formed by S.M. Entertainment.The purpose of this study was to determine the process social construction of reality from EXO boyband community members in Jakarta. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with the Case Study analysis method. The theory used is the theory Social Construction of Reality proposed by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. The results of this study show that the social construction of reality experienced by members of the EXO or EXO-L boy band community begins with knowing Kpop, knowing the EXO boy band, joining the EXO-L community and making adjustments, interacting with fellow members, to identify themselves with their members in EXO boyband community.
