Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of a problem-solving design-based Arabic language learning approach in improving students' language skills. The scope of the research covered intermediate level students in a junior high school in Indonesia. The method used was a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design, which involved observation, interviews and document analysis to collect data. The results show that the application of this approach can significantly improve students' learning motivation and Arabic language skills. Students showed improvement in speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through activities designed to solve real problems. In addition, the interaction between students during the learning process also strengthens their understanding of the Arabic language. The conclusion of this research confirms that the problem-solving design-based learning approach is not only effective in improving Arabic language skills, but also encourages students to think critically and creatively. Therefore, this approach is recommended to be applied more widely in Arabic language teaching at various levels of education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of the implementation of the Didikan Subuh Program at MDTA Masjid Nurul Hidayah, Pagambiran, Padang City. The focus of the research includes the effectiveness of the program in improving Islamic understanding, Islamic character building, and strengthening students' spiritual values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, mosque administrators, and students, and documentation studies. Data analysis was done descriptively with reduction, presentation, and conclusion techniques. The results showed that the Didikan Subuh Program has a significant positive impact in shaping Islamic character, especially in the aspects of discipline, honesty, and responsibility. The program is also effective in increasing community participation in religious activities, strengthening social relations in the mosque environment, and raising awareness of the importance of early religious education. The implication of this study is the need for more systematic curriculum development and active involvement of parents in supporting the success of the program. The contribution of this research is to provide insight to mosque managers and religious education institutions in optimizing similar programs in the community to strengthen Islamic values in the younger generation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter melalui pendekatan pedagogi humanistik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dari berbagai sumber teori dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode humanistik seperti diskusi reflektif, storytelling, dan role play efektif menanamkan nilai karakter seperti empati, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran diri, serta didukung oleh pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti video interaktif, forum online, dan gamifikasi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna. Kesimpulannya, integrasi pedagogi humanistik dan teknologi digital sangat relevan dalam membentuk peserta didik yang kompeten dalam Bahasa Arab sekaligus berkarakter kuat, sehingga guru dan lembaga pendidikan perlu mengoptimalkan strategi ini untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan masa kini

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 5.0 has brought significant paradigm shifts in various aspects of life, including the way we understand and produce knowledge. This research explores the relevance of philosophy of science in the context of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 through a comprehensive literature analysis. Using a philosophical hermeneutic approach, this study examines the evolution of the philosophy of science paradigm, the epistemological and ontological challenges that arise, and the ethical and social implications of new technologies. The findings show that philosophy of science faces the need to adapt to the epistemological shifts brought about by big data and artificial intelligence, as well as develop an ethical framework that is responsive to contemporary technological dilemmas. The research also reveals the transformation of scientific methodology, from traditional hypothesis-deductive approaches to data-driven models, as well as the important role of computational simulation and human-machine collaboration in scientific discovery. Furthermore, the study underscores the crucial role of philosophy of science in facilitating interdisciplinary dialog, developing evaluation frameworks for new technologies, and preparing society for the radical changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution 5.0. This research concludes that philosophy of science not only remains relevant, but is becoming increasingly important in the digital age, with significant potential to contribute to the development of more ethical technologies and a more comprehensive understanding of reality in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0.. Abstract

This study investigates the influence of an Arabic literacy program and learning motivation on students' Arabic learning outcomes at SMP IT Al Amin Padang. The persistent issue of low Arabic achievement highlights the urgency of exploring strategies integrating language literacy with motivational factors. Prior research has often examined these variables in isolation; however, studies that analyze their combined impact, particularly within Arabic language education, are still limited. This research addresses that gap by assessing how both variables jointly affect student performance. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, the study was conducted on 30 students selected through stratified random sampling. Data were gathered using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire to evaluate students' perceptions of the literacy program and their motivation, while academic records were used to assess Arabic learning outcomes. Data analysis included tests of validity and reliability, normality checks, and Pearson correlation analysis. Findings reveal a significant correlation between the literacy program, learning motivation, and student outcomes, with a coefficient of determination of 75.2%. The results suggest integrating literacy initiatives and motivational support can significantly improve Arabic learning. This study offers valuable insights for developing more effective Arabic language teaching strategies at the secondary education level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Islamic perspective on gender equality and its role in supporting sustainable global peace. Within this framework, the research explores Islamic teachings that support gender justice and its contribution to social harmony and conflict resolution. This research approach uses a qualitative method with literature review as the main technique, utilizing classical and contemporary literature related to Qur'anic interpretation, hadith, and the views of Muslim scholars and scholars. The results show that Islam theologically encourages the principle of gender equality through the values of justice, respect, and cooperation between men and women. Gender equality practiced in Muslim societies has the potential to become the foundation for creating harmonious relationships, both within the family, community and between nations. The research also highlights that biased interpretations of religious texts often become obstacles in realizing this principle. The implications of this research provide an important contribution to efforts to create global peace through a religious value-based approach. The study encourages more inclusive cross-cultural and religious dialogue in addressing gender issues, while providing practical guidance for Muslim communities to reconstruct their understanding of Islamic teachings that support equality and peace. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif Islam mengenai kesetaraan gender dan perannya dalam mendukung perdamaian global yang berkelanjutan. Dalam kerangka ini, penelitian mengeksplorasi ajaran Islam yang mendukung keadilan gender serta kontribusinya terhadap harmoni sosial dan penyelesaian konflik. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka sebagai teknik utama, memanfaatkan literatur klasik dan kontemporer terkait tafsir Al-Qur’an, hadits, serta pandangan ulama dan cendekiawan Muslim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam secara teologis mendorong prinsip kesetaraan gender melalui nilai-nilai keadilan, penghormatan, dan kerja sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Kesetaraan gender yang dipraktikkan dalam masyarakat Muslim berpotensi menjadi fondasi untuk menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis, baik dalam lingkup keluarga, komunitas, maupun antarbangsa. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti bahwa interpretasi yang bias terhadap teks-teks agama sering kali menjadi hambatan dalam mewujudkan prinsip ini. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya menciptakan perdamaian global melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai agama. Kajian ini mendorong dialog lintas budaya dan agama yang lebih inklusif dalam mengatasi isu gender, sekaligus memberikan panduan praktis bagi komunitas Muslim untuk merekonstruksi pemahaman mereka terhadap ajaran Islam yang mendukung kesetaraan dan perdamaian. Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of hadith as a spiritual foundation in religious education and its contribution to Islamic character building. The study focuses on the educational values contained in the hadith and how they can be effectively integrated into the religious education curriculum. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study collected data through literature review, content analysis of the hadith, and in-depth interviews with educators and hadith experts. The results showed that the hadith has broad educational dimensions, including the values of honesty, compassion, responsibility, and tolerance. These values are relevant to build a strong Islamic character in students. The study also found that the integration of hadith in religious education has not been optimal in some institutions due to the lack of comprehensive understanding of the content of hadith and less innovative learning approaches.. The implications of this study include the importance of developing more applicable hadith-based learning modules, training teachers to understand and teach hadith contextually, and collaboration between educational institutions and scholars in developing learning materials. This study makes a significant contribution in strengthening the Islamic spirituality-based educational approach, which is oriented towards the formation of a generation of Muslims who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have noble character.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic religious education in building Islamic character in early childhood through a holistic approach. Early childhood is at an important stage of development in the formation of moral and spiritual values, so that comprehensive religious education becomes the foundation for instilling a strong Islamic character. The focus of this research is to identify effective strategies that can be applied in learning Islam in the family, school and community environments. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with educators, parents, and observers of early childhood education, as well as direct observation of Islamic learning practices in several early childhood education institutions. Data analysis was conducted using the triangulation method to ensure the validity and reliability of the results. The results show that holistic Islamic religious learning, involving integration between cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, is able to effectively shape Islamic character in early childhood. Strategies such as the use of play while learning methods, Islamic stories, simple worship practices, and strengthening Islamic values in daily interactions are proven to increase children's religious understanding and positive behavior. The implications of this research show the importance of collaboration between parents, teachers and the social environment in building children's Islamic character from an early age. This research contributes to the development of Islamic learning methods that are more relevant to the developmental needs of early childhood, as well as providing practical guidance for educators and policy makers in designing effective Islamic character education programs.  Keywords: Islamic Character, Early Childhood, Religious Education, Holistic

Abstract

This research aims to explore early childhood social skills through Arabic language learning in an early childhood education (ECE) setting. The scope of the research includes observing and analyzing children's social interactions during the Arabic language learning process and its impact on their social skills development. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with teachers, and group discussions with parents. The results showed that Arabic language learning conducted interactively and collaboratively can improve children's social skills, such as the ability to communicate, collaborate, and empathy. Children who engaged in group activities, such as role-play and discussion, showed significant improvements in their ability to interact with peers. In addition, the use of Arabic in a social context helps children understand the norms and values prevailing in society. The conclusion of this research is that Arabic language learning serves not only as a means of communication, but also as a means to develop important social skills for early childhood. Therefore, it is important for educators to integrate social activities in Arabic language learning in ECD in order to facilitate children's holistic development. This research provides new insights into the role of Arabic language in early childhood education and the importance of learning environments that support social interaction.   Keywords: Exploration; Social Skills; Arabic Language; Early Childhood Education

Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in shaping children's character from an early age. However, Qur'anic learning often faces challenges in creating an optimal and enjoyable learning experience. The neuroeducational approach, which integrates the principles of neuroscience in education, offers the potential to improve the effectiveness of Qur'?nic learning. This research aims to explore neuroeducation-based Qur'?nic learning strategies in the context of Islamic education for early childhood. This research used qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research subjects include Islamic education teachers and parents who understand the application of neuroeducation. Data were analyzed thematically to identify effective patterns and strategies in neuroeducational-based Qur'anic learning. The results show that the neuroeducational approach can increase students' motivation to learn, strengthen their understanding of Qur'anic material, and support children's emotional and social development. Teachers who apply this strategy tend to create a learning atmosphere that is interactive, fun, and in accordance with children's brain development. In conclusion, the integration of neuroeducation in Islamic education contributes significantly to improving the quality of Qur'?nic learning. This study recommends training for educators to understand the principles of neuroeducation and its application in Islamic values-based learning.
