Indonesia is a country that has great potential for the development of the halal industry. This is certainly one of the biggest opportunities in increasing the halal food industry with the influence of Indonesia's large Muslim population. Indonesia accounts for 12.7% of the world's Muslim population. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative and phenomenological methods. While the data used is library data which is supported by several articles relating to this research. Then analyze the data obtained by providing a descriptive explanation of the form of text, images, and symbols that are connected. The purpose of this study. To increase awareness about halal products in Indonesia, it will be more optimal if there is a government role in handling the development of these products directly and sustainably. One of the methods in developing halal food in Indonesia is to socialize the advantages of halal products that are conceptualized and comply with the criteria of Islamic sharia. This can also be done by researchers, participants, media (mass and print) and educational institutions that are still in the realm of Islam.

Abstract This study critically examines the representation of female desire in Surah Yusuf, verse 31, through the lens of Ibn Kathir’s classical tafsir. Despite growing scholarly attention to gender and sexuality in Islamic texts, focused analyses of female desire within Qur’anic exegesis remain limited. Addressing this gap, the present research offers a pioneering contribution by employing a qualitative descriptive method to analyze both linguistic and interpretative dimensions of the verse. The study pursues three main objectives: (1) to investigate the linguistic nuances and variations across major English translations of the verse; (2) to explore Ibn Kathir’s interpretive framing of the narrative involving the women of Egypt; and (3) to analyze how the concept of female desire is constructed within his tafsir. The findings reveal significant disparities in how translations convey the intensity and consequences of the women’s attraction to Prophet Yusuf. Ibn Kathir’s exegesis characterizes their behavior as influenced by both individual and collective longing, catalyzed by Yusuf’s extraordinary beauty. Notably, the tafsir identifies elements such as physical attraction, emotional overwhelm, and even metaphorical “drunkenness” as markers of female desire. This study contributes to the broader discourse on gender in Islamic thought by highlighting how classical interpretations engaged with complex emotional and psychological dimensions of female figures in the Qur’an. By revisiting these exegetical traditions, the research fosters a more nuanced and historically grounded understanding of female desire, offering critical insights for contemporary debates on gender, sexuality, and the interpretation of sacred texts. Keywords: Female Desire; Surah Yusuf; Ibn Kathir’s Interpretation.Abstrak Penelitian ini secara kritis mengkaji representasi hasrat perempuan dalam Surah Yusuf ayat 31 melalui tafsir klasik Ibn Kathir. Meskipun kajian akademik mengenai gender dan seksualitas dalam teks-teks Islam semakin berkembang, analisis yang secara khusus membahas hasrat perempuan dalam konteks tafsir Al-Qur’an masih sangat terbatas. Untuk menjembatani kekosongan ini, penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi awal dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif guna menganalisis dimensi linguistik dan interpretatif dari ayat tersebut. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan utama: (1) menyelidiki nuansa kebahasaan dan variasi dalam sejumlah terjemahan bahasa Inggris utama terhadap ayat tersebut; (2) mengeksplorasi cara Ibn Kathir membingkai narasi tentang para perempuan Mesir; dan (3) menganalisis bagaimana konsep hasrat perempuan dikonstruksikan dalam tafsirnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam cara terjemahan menggambarkan intensitas dan konsekuensi dari ketertarikan para perempuan terhadap Nabi Yusuf. Tafsir Ibn Kathir menggambarkan perilaku mereka sebagai hasil dari hasrat individu maupun kolektif, yang dipicu oleh pesona luar biasa Yusuf. Menariknya, tafsir ini mengidentifikasi unsur daya tarik fisik, gejolak emosi, hingga “mabuk” secara metaforis sebagai penanda dari hasrat perempuan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi diskursus gender dalam pemikiran Islam dengan menyoroti bagaimana tafsir klasik merespons dimensi emosional dan psikologis tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam Al-Qur’an. Dengan meninjau kembali tradisi tafsir tersebut, penelitian ini menghadirkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan historis tentang hasrat perempuan, sekaligus menawarkan wawasan kritis bagi perdebatan kontemporer mengenai gender, seksualitas, dan penafsiran teks suci. Analisis ontologis pembelajaran bahasa Arab melalui aplikasi Duolingo menunjukkan bahwa platform ini merepresentasikan bahasa dalam bentuk yang terstruktur secara digital dan terfragmentasi. Keberadaan bahasa Arab dalam aplikasi ini dibentuk oleh logika teknis, bukan sebagai refleksi dari praktik sosial yang tumbuh dalam interaksi manusia. Materi disajikan dalam unit-unit kecil yang disusun secara sistematis, sementara mekanisme pembelajaran didorong oleh orientasi kuantitatif melalui sistem poin, peringkat, dan tantangan harian. Interaksi yang dibangun terbatas, dikendalikan oleh algoritma, dan cenderung mencerminkan model komunikasi satu arah yang kurang merepresentasikan dimensi sosial dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Dalam kerangka ontologi pembelajaran yang memandang bahasa sebagai entitas hidup yang tumbuh dalam konteks sosial budaya, Duolingo cenderung tidak mampu merepresentasikan hakikat bahasa Arab secara menyeluruh. Fonologi hanya dikenalkan secara dasar tanpa pelatihan artikulasi aktif, sementara pembelajaran kosakata dan tata bahasa berlangsung dalam pola repetitif dengan konteks makna minimal dan kedalaman sintaksis. Dimensi pragmatik dan nilai-nilai budaya yang melekat dalam penggunaan bahasa tidak terakomodasi secara memadai. Meskipun aplikasi ini memudahkan pembelajar pemula untuk mengenal unsur-unsur dasar bahasa Arab secara fleksibel, tetap diperlukan pendekatan yang melibatkan interaksi nyata dan pengalaman kultural otentik guna membentuk kompetensi berbahasa secara utuh dan bermakna.

The increasing attention to family dynamics amid rising divorce rates in Indonesia underscores the need to examine the roles of women within the household. Drawing on Zakiah Daradjat’s influential work, Islam dan Peranan Wanita (1987), this study examines how Generation Z readers interpret her discourse on the roles of women as wives and mothers. This qualitative study used a reader-response approach with data from 44 purposively selected Gen Z respondents via Google Forms. Conducted in August-September 2024, responses were thematically analyzed using interpretive analysis grounded in hermeneutics, highlighting how personal experiences shaped interpretations of Zakiah Darajat’s views on women’s family roles. The findings indicate that most participants affirmed Daradjat’s views, particularly the centrality of women in fostering family well-being. However, some respondents, particularly unmarried and highly educated participants, expressed more egalitarian perspectives, emphasizing the need for shared responsibility between spouses. The emphasis on women's roles in the family is aligned with the focus of the study, without disregarding the roles of other parties in the dynamics of family life. This study offers insight into family issues that frequently result in disarray between its members, particularly between father and mother or husband and wife, from a range of viewpoints with a diversity of experiences. This study is expected to address the challenges of family life, particularly for women, who often face debates concerning their roles

Kepatuhan syariah (sharia compliance) merupakan syarat mutlak sekaligus menjadi pengendali dalam menuntun sebuah lembaga agar tidak keluar dari jalur syariah. Fatwa DSN MUI merupakan perwujudan prinsip syariah dan aturan syariah yang harus dipatuhi serta menjadi titik acuan kerja bagi Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS). Salah satu produk yang ada di BMT NU Cabang Kalisat adalah pembiayaan murabahah. Kemudahan mekanisme pembiayaan murabahah tidak menjamin praktik di lapangan sesuai dengan ketentuan dan standar syariah maupun peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui praktik pembiayaan akad murabahah dan kesesuaian penerapan sharia compliance dengan fatwa DSN MUI di BMT NU Cabang Kalisat Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan praktik dan kesesuaian penerapan sharia compliance pembiayaan murabahah di BMT NU Cabang Kalisat masih terdapat kekeliruan pada pelaksanakan akad wakalah, karena dilaksanakan di waktu yang bersamaan dengan akad murabahah. Hal itu yang menyebabkan praktik pembiayaan di BMT NU Cabang Kalisat tidak sesuai dengan prinsip syariah

This article examines the dual representation of the woman-nature connection represented by the author through elements of fantasy and the secondary world in The Girl Who Drank the Moon. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and the lens of ecofeminism and fantasy theory to analyze data relevant to the woman-nature connection in the novel. The results show that the author uses three female characters to represent the connection between women and nature, namely Xan (witch), Luna (moon baby), and Madwoman (Adora). The connection between women and nature is depicted through two different sides. On the one hand, women and nature are depicted as loving, caring, and connected entities; but on the other hand, women and nature are depicted as dangerous entities. The use of fantasy elements such as supernatural creatures, magic, and the creation of a secondary world in The Girl Who Drank the Moon plays an important role in providing a new perspective as well as an alternative escape for readers to transcend the boundaries of various injustices against women and nature that have been normalized in the real world.

Economic development achieved by a country or region can be measured by economic growth. The goal is to know the effect of HDI, Unemployment and Povertiy on Economic Growth in East Java in the Perspective of Islamic Economic. This study uses secondary data from BPS 2014-2023. The research method is quantitative with multiple linear regression using regression using SPSS and Ms. Exel. Research results show HDI has an effect on East Java Economic Growth, sig 0.003 and t count (- 4.683>2.306). Unemployment partially affects East Java Economic Growth, sig 0.001 and t count (-6.149>2.306). Poverty partially affects East Java Economic Growth, sig 0.013 and t count (-3.503>2.306). By together HDI, Unemployment and Poverty affect the Eoconomic Growth of East Java, sig 0.001 and F count (22.59>4.76).

This research delves into the intricate narratives surrounding toxic masculinity through a Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis of content on the Instagram account Thegentlemanrising. The study investigates how ideas of toxic masculinity are represented in both visual and textual elements, specifically in photos and expressions shared on the platform. Thegentlemanrising actively communicates messages aimed at encouraging the younger generation to embrace masculinity, emphasizing positive attributes while avoiding toxic traits. The content consists of motivational quotes fostering a healthy masculine identity, often accompanied by images of individuals embodying positive masculine characteristics. This study positions Thegentlemanrising as an initiative to balance and juxtapose the concept of masculinity, promoting positive ideals and steering clear of toxic behaviors. The findings contribute to our understanding of how social media platforms can play a role in shaping discussions around masculinity and influencing perceptions among the audience, particularly the younger generation.
