Abstract

This research regards a perception of Generation z in Kupang to tolerance religion on Social Media and influencing factors perception of Generation z Kupang City To Tolerance Religious on Social Media. Study this using method study combination (mixed methods). In a study, this researcher collects, analyzes data, integrates findings, and describes a conclusion with combined method study qualitative and quantitative. The average score perception generation z against tolerance of religion on social media seen from indicators of Fairness, empathy and reasonableness is at one category enough, that is by 64.1 %. In line with that, the results of qualitative data show that the average generation z is tolerant of differences that exist, but attitude intolerant sometimes appears influenced by internal factors, namely: Experiencing life with different experiencing life together Becomes a factor of mutual understanding. Understanding to teachings of religion Becomes a factor that shapes positive perceptions _ and is hostile towards people, religious others, and with live values and spirit nationality, generation z tends to own a positive perception _ about tolerance of religion. In using social media, they put forward identity and nationality. Different people's confidence with they responded and greeted by cheerful. Referring to on conclusion above, the Institution or institution education needs to develop a curriculum that answers the need for public tolerance of religion and also needs _ the existence of specialization about attitude tolerant in the use of social media by wise

Abstract

This study aims to examine how foster children redefine their self-identity after being fostered at the Special Children’s Development Institution. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a sociological research type. In this study, the researcher used Peter Berger's social construction theory to examine the process of constructing the self-identity of foster children and George Herbert Mead's theory to examine how interaction through symbols affects the process of redefining the self-identity of foster children. The results of the study: first, Dialectics in the social environment of the Special Children’s Development Institution defines children's self-identity with values ​​instilled in thought patterns and actions, second, self-awareness is formed through spiritual guidance which then helps foster children define themselves, third, fulfillment of physical, spiritual needs, assistance, attention, protection and support from the social environment and parents in the foster institution makes foster children aware of the limitations in interacting with others.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the perspective of the Alor diaspora in Kupang regarding diversity. The framework of this study is based on their outlook on life which is manifested in the motto Tara Miti Tomi Nuku. The researcher will examine their perspective in terms of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. After that, the researcher also examines it sociologically using the theory of Structural functionalism. The researcher chose this study because no one has studied it. Many have studied Alor but no one has studied the perspective of the Alor diaspora. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The contribution of this study is to provide ideas or concepts for science and to contribute to Indonesian society to appreciate how to live in diversity

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, terutama perempuan dari berbagai agama, tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang dan peran mereka dalam mencegah stunting dengan pendekatan moderasi beragama di Kelurahan Namosain, Kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif (Participatory Action Research/PAR), berupa seminar dan pelatihan selama dua hari dengan melibatkan 20 ibu rumah tangga dari berbagai agama. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang stunting dan gizi, di mana mayoritas mampu menjelaskan definisi, penyebab, dan dampaknya. Pendekatan moderasi beragama terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat kerjasama lintas agama dan mendorong pembentukan kelompok ibu-ibu yang saling mendukung. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan moderasi beragama efektif dalam mendorong kerjasama dan kesadaran lintas agama. Untuk keberlanjutan program, direkomendasikan agar kegiatan serupa diperluas dengan dukungan fasilitas yang lebih baik dan evaluasi jangka panjang untuk mengukur dampaknya terhadap penurunan stunting. Kebijakan yang mendukung pemberdayaan lintas agama juga diperlukan agar masyarakat lebih sadar dan aktif dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan bersama.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di desa Tesbatan, Kec. Amarasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka penguatan moderasi beragama berbasis dialog aksi. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan “Focus Group Discussion”. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang moderasi dan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Adanya respon positif yang ditunjukan dengan kesediaan masyarakat untuk menjadi agen penyebar nilai-nilai moderasi beragama.Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam rangka penguatan moderasi beragama.Adanya keterbukaan mengenai pengalaman hidup berdampingan antar agama di desa Tesbatan.
