Abstract

Toilet training is an effort to train children to develop the habit of controlling urination and defecation activities in the right and regular place. In addition, toilet training also teaches children to clean up their own waste and put their pants back on independently without the help of others. A child's readiness for toilet training can be influenced by parental motivation, the child's physical, psychological, and intellectual readiness. The purpose of this study is to understand the parents' knowledge overview of the implementation of toilet training for children aged 4-5 years at Arifah Kindergarten, Lassang Barat Village, North Polombangkeng District, Takalar Regency. The research method used is descriptive observational with a survey method. The research was conducted using a questionnaire along with a respondent consent form. The results of the study conducted on 30 parents as respondents at Arifah Kindergarten, Lassang Barat Village, North Polombangkeng District, Takalar Regency, showed that most respondents had good knowledge about the implementation of toilet training for children aged 4-5 years, amounting to 66.7%. Meanwhile, 23.3% had sufficient knowledge, and 10% had less knowledge about the implementation of toilet training for children aged 4-5 years. It is expected that future researchers will continue this study by developing additional variables from this research

Abstract

The hypnocaring technique is a non-pharmacological approach that utilizes therapeutic communication between nurses and clients. Through the use of affirmations and positive suggestions, this technique aims to enhance motivation and empower patients in their healing process. With a focus on empathetic interpersonal relationships, hypnocaring has the potential to be an effective solution for addressing the challenges often faced by post-sectio caesarea patients, namely pain and post-operative anxiety. This study aims to describe the implementation of the hypnocaring technique and evaluate its impact on reducing pain and anxiety in clients, as well as assess its contribution to the quality of care received by patients. The study employs a qualitative research method with a participant observation approach, where the researcher is directly involved in the observed activities to gain deeper data insights. Participant observation is a qualitative research technique that allows the researcher to interact with study subjects in their natural environment, enabling them to understand the patterns of social interaction, behavior, and the meanings behind the observed actions. The findings reveal that overall, the use of hypnocaring techniques at Syekh Yusuf Regional Hospital in Gowa shows great potential in helping alleviate pain and anxiety in post-cesarean section clients. Despite some inhibiting factors, supporting factors such as the support from healthcare professionals, the willingness of clients, and a conducive environment can maximize the application of this technique. It is recommended that the management of Syekh Yusuf Regional Hospital provide special training for nurses regarding the implementation of the hypnocaring technique. This training is crucial to ensure that nurses have the adequate skills to apply the technique optimally.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the ecopreneurship model in increasing environmental awareness among midwifery students. The research method was quasi-experimental, with a control group design using midwifery students as research subjects. The research stages include applying the ecopreneurship model in the learning process in the lecture hall, as well as measuring the level of knowledge before and after. A valid and reliable survey instrument was used to collect data regarding student perceptions and attitudes towards the environment. The data analysis results show that applying the ecopreneurship model significantly increases environmental knowledge and awareness among midwifery students. Previously, students tended to have a limited understanding of environmental issues and their relevance in the context of entrepreneurship education. However, after learning about the ecopreneurship model, there was a real increase in students' understanding, attitudes, and involvement towards environmental issues.

Abstract

Gerakan menabung sejak dini bagi siswa merupakan gerakan yang sangat penting untuk menghidupkan kembali budaya menabung dan berinvestasi pada siawa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen IKB KJP ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya menabung sejak dini agar terbiasa mengelola uang pribadi, belajar disiplin dan merencanakan keuangan masa depan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 54 Salupikung Kota Palopo Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan metode sosialisasi gerakan menabung menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman pendidikan dimana data pre-test siswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan menabung sebesar 70% namun minat menabung masih sebesar 30%. Setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa, pengetahuan meningkat sebesar 87% dan minat menabung menjadi 60%. Dilaksanakannya sosialisasi gerakan menabung memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa untuk mampu menabung sejak dini dengan menyisihkan uang jajan. Gerakan menabung oleh siswa dapat menunjang masa depan.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif merupakan pembelian barang dengan tidak memikirkan fungsi dan kegunaannya tetapi hanya memikirkan prestise dari barang yang akan dibeli, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa perilaku ini lebih mementingkan keinginannya dibandingkan dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhi gaya hidup dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Lokasi penelitian di kota Makassar, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan metode riset yang digunakan asosiatif causal (penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih) dengan pendekatan secara kuantitatif, melalui teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa: a). Gaya hidup mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa b). Literasi keuangan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa. c). Pengaruh gaya hidup dan literasi keuangan bersifat simultan terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada Mahasiswa.
