Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis sistem pengelolaan sampah di kompleks perumahan MMTC Medan, dengan fokus pada keterlibatan masyarakat sebagai elemen kuncinya. Meskipun terdapat peran aktif petugas kebersihan dalam pengelolaan sampah di wilayah tersebut, namun tingkat partisipasi masyarakat masih tergolong rendah. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kondisi ini antara lain rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat, kurangnya fasilitas, dan rendahnya sosialisasi mengenai pengelolaan sampah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap warga, pedagang, dan pengelola komplek. Berdasarkan hasil survei, hanya 45% masyarakat yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik. Hambatan utamanya adalah tidak tersedianya fasilitas pemilahan sampah dan kurangnya pendidikan. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kesadaran melalui aksi publik, pembangunan infrastruktur, kolaborasi antara masyarakat lokal, pemerintah, dan pengelola yang kompleks untuk mencapai pengelolaan sampah yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Writing a good and correct scientific journal is very important in the academic world, especially in the field of geography education. However, in practice, there are still many errors in the use of Indonesian language that are in accordance with applicable rules. This study aims to analyze various errors in the use of Indonesian language found in scientific journals of geography education, both in terms of morphology, syntax, and semantics. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis with a document study approach to a number of scientific journals of geography education published in recent years. The results of the study indicate that the most common errors found include the use of spelling that is not in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI), ineffective sentence structures, inaccuracy in word choice, and the use of foreign terms that are not in accordance with the linguistic context. In addition, errors were also found in the use of punctuation and poor inter-paragraph coherence, which affects the readability and clarity of meaning in the scientific journal. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase awareness and understanding of academics, especially in the field of geography education, regarding the importance of using good and correct Indonesian language in scientific publications. Thus, the quality of scientific journals can be improved and can become a more credible source of reference in the academic world.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu pendidikan (PM) adalah instrumen penting untuk menjamin dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 8 Medan. Pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen (dokumen mutu sekolah dan transkrip wawancara). Analisis data mengikuti model Miles & Huberman (reduksi, penyajian, verifikasi). Hasil menunjukkan: (1) pemahaman guru terhadap konsep penjaminan mutu bersifat variatif sehingga belum merata; (2) pelaksanaan siklus penjaminan mutu (perencanaan–pelaksanaan–evaluasi–tindak lanjut) berjalan tetapi belum konsisten; dan (3) efektivitas penjaminan mutu terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bersifat cukup tetapi belum optimal — terutama pada aspek proses pembelajaran, pemanfaatan data, dan tindak lanjut hasil evaluasi. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan pelatihan literasi mutu dan data bagi guru, penguatan tim TPMPS (Tim Penjaminan Mutu Internal Sekolah), serta integrasi hasil evaluasi ke dalam rencana kerja sekolah.
