Abstract

Study This aiming For analyze view life And idealism author in the short story "When Mas Gagah Left" by Helvy Tiana Rosa with an expressive approach. This study explores the philosophical underpinnings and thematic elements that reflect the author's perspective on life, society, and personal values. Using an expressive approach, this study highlights how the author's emotions and experiences shape the narrative and character development in the story. The findings show that the author's outlook on life is strongly influenced by the cultural and social context, which are closely interwoven. in structure narrative. Analysis This No only contribute on understanding Which more deeply into Helvy Tiana Rosa's literary work, but also offers insight into the broader implications of her idealism in contemporary society.

Abstract

A novel is a depiction of daily life that is found in a specific sastra. The novel originated in Italian, was known as a novella in Jerman, and was then translated into English before traveling to Indonesia. Novels are also described as prose-based short stories. “Temukan Aku dalam Istikharahmu” a novel by Adi Rustandi, is the only sacred work published in 2014 by Jakarta, Zettu Cetakan. This book draws inspiration from Tokoh Rengganis, which is explained throughout the novel. The authors not only expresses his feelings, but also offers ideas and solutions to the current problem. The authors in the story of his life expresses his private spiritual guidance through a tokoh of a devout old man who depicts his spiritual life and connects him to his spiritual community with his god. This study is being conducted to understand the life at the bottom of the pyramid.

Abstract

  Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia mengadakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dalam bentuk “Pelatihan Pengembangan Bahan dan Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA/SMK Berbasis Digital”. Pelatihan ini  dilatarbelakangi oleh  rendahnya prestasi siswa  dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya, karena media pembelajaran yang masih konvensional, tidak menarik, dan tidak bervariasi. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan bahan dan media pembelajaran. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan  metode  Participatory Action Research. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 26 orang. Melalui partisipasi, aksi, dan replektif, peserta dapat memperoleh pengalaman mengembangkan bahan dan media pembelajaran digital. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, diperoleh data, seluruh peserta pelatihan 26 orang (100%) mampu membuat media flipbook anyplif. Peserta juga membuat media lainnya yakni 13 orang (50 %) membuat media Wordwall, sebanyak 5 orang (19,23 %) membuat media Prezi,  sebanyak  5 orang (19,23 %) membuat media  Powtoon, dan sebanyak 4 orang  (15,38 %) membuat media Gamma  AI. Hasil penilaian  produk bahan dan media digital yang meliputi: aspek desain, konten, teknis, dan  kegunaan, sebanyak 23 orang (88,46%) sudah baik, sedangkan 3 orang (11,54 %) masih kurang baik. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan berhasil dan  mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMA, di lingkungan YPDM Pasundan dalam mengembangkan bahan dan media digital.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has transformed the landscape of language education, including the learning of Indonesian forForeign Speakers (BIPA). This study aims to analyze the perceptions andexperiences of BIPA learners in using AI-based platforms as a medium for selfdirected learning in the digital era. Data’s were collected through interviews,participant observation, and open-ended questionnaires with respondents fromvarious countries. The findings indicate that the use of AI platforms providessignificant benefits in terms of learning time flexibility, instant feedback ongrammar and pronunciation, and increased motivation through gamification.However, several challenges were also identified, such as the limitations of AI inunderstanding complex cultural contexts, interactions that feel less human, andthe potential for technology anxiety among some learners. This study concludesthat while AI platforms are highly potential tools, their role is more optimal as asupplement to support teaching by human instructors, rather than as a completereplacement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis fenomena linguistik bahasa gaul di kalangan Generasi Z (Gen Z) Indonesia dalam era digital. Sebagai digital natives, Gen Z mengembangkan lanskap leksikal yang unik, yang secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh platform media sosial seperti TikTok, X, dan Instagram, serta budaya game online. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana kualitatif terhadap istilah-istilah yang populer, dengan mengklasifikasikannya ke dalam tiga kategori utama: positif, negatif, dan kontekstual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bahasa gaul Gen Z memiliki karakteristik hibrida, memadukan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris secara kreatif. Istilah positif seperti slay, menyala abangku, dan green flag berfungsi sebagai alat apresiasi dan penguat ikatan sosial. Sebaliknya, istilah negatif seperti cringe, red flag, dan cegil digunakan untuk kritik sosial, pelabelan, dan ekspresi ketidaknyamanan. Beberapa istilah seperti flexing dan healing menunjukkan ambiguitas makna yang sangat bergantung pada konteks penggunaannya. Disimpulkan bahwa bahasa gaul Gen Z bukan sekadar alat komunikasi, melainkan juga merupakan penanda identitas generasi yang dinamis, merefleksikan kreativitas, globalisasi, dan kompleksitas interaksi sosial di ruang digital.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' lack of interest in writing and analyze their difficulties in expressing feelings and thoughts in the form of poetry. The ability to master diction in writing poetry is a major concern because it affects the quality of their literary works. This study used an experimental method of pretest-posttest control group design consisting of an experimental class that used digital crossword puzzle media and a control class that used clip card media. The data collection methods used in this research include observation, a pilot test, and a test. The research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the experimental class using digital-based crossword puzzle media experienced a significant increase in the ability to master connotation meaning in writing poetry compared to the control class. This indicates that the media helped improve poetry writing skills by using appropriate diction. The use of digital-based crossword puzzle media can improve the mastery of connotational meaning in writing poetry for phase D students at SMP Negeri 1 Wanayasa. Teachers need to prepare the content and layout of the crossword puzzle, provide concept explanations, and involve learners.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the social criticism conveyed through the short story Wall of Time by Danarto, with a focus on issues of poverty, crime, family disorganization, problems of the younger generation, war, violations of norms, population problems, and environmental problems. This short story describes the social tensions and pressures of individual life amidst deep social problems. Through symbols of time and various allusions, this short story highlights social inequality, the impact of war, and increasingly severe environmental exploitation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literary mimetic theory, to reveal how Danarto conveys social criticism in a subtle but sharp manner through characters trapped in difficult situations. The research results show that this short story invites readers to be more critical of existing social and cultural conditions, as well as providing reflections on the impact of social problems on human life. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the understanding of Indonesian literature and provide an appreciation for literary works that raise social issues.

Abstract

The integration of social media stages into English as a Foreign Language  (EFL) instruction has developed as a energetic approach to improving learnersâ?? communicative competence in bona fide and intuitively computerized situations. This think about investigates the educational potential of social media apparatuses such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube in supporting the improvement of phonetic, sociolinguistic, and key competencies among EFL learners. Drawing upon later observational thinks about and hypothetical systems, the investigate investigations how social media encourages real-time communication, collaborative learning, and introduction to different social and etymological inputs. Discoveries demonstrate that when deliberately coordinates, social media improves learnersâ?? inspiration, dialect hone openings, and certainty in utilizing English for significant interaction past the classroom. Abstract

Makalah ini adalah penelitian kesantunan Imperatif Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandung: kajian pragmatik. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penanda imperatif dan wujud imperatif yang digunakan siswa dalam kesantunan imperatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak; teknik cakap; dan tes melengkapai wacana atau Discourse Completion Test (DCT) tipe C. Sampel data penelitian ini adalah responden yang terdiri dari 20 siswa perempuan dan 20 siswa laki-laki SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandung. Kajian teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kesantunan (Leech: 1983); skala kesantunan (Brown & Levinson: 1987); kesantunan imperatif (Rahardi: 2005); tata baku bahasa Indonesia (Moeliono: 1992); dan Chaer & Leonie (2004). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa kesantunan imperatif dapat dilihat dri penanda imperatif dan wujud imperatif. Penanda imperatif terdiri daripenanda kesantunan; pronomina; interjeksi; dan verba. Wujud imperatif terdiri dari bentuk kalimat; strategi; dan campur kode atau alih kode.
