Abstract

This study explores effective conflict management strategies to transform tension into learning opportunities and educational success. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze various strategies such as negotiation, mediation, and collaboration. The findings indicate that well-managed conflicts can enhance learning quality, build interpersonal skills, and foster innovation within educational settings. This study provides new insights into the importance of leveraging conflicts as catalysts for learning and organizational development in education.

Abstract

Abstract

Ensuring high-quality educational services is a growing challenge for State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia, particularly in efforts to harmonise Islamic educational values with international standards. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of ISO 21001:2018 implementation in improving service quality at State Islamic Religious Universities. The method used is a qualitative case study, with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were obtained from 25 purposively selected informants, consisting of quality assurance staff, lecturers, and students. The results show that ISO 21001:2018 significantly improves institutional accreditation through standardising quality management processes and strengthening human resources and infrastructure. The certification process increases stakeholder trust and strengthens academic quality assurance through regular evaluations and transparent audits. The integration of ISO 21001:2018 also encourages the creation of a participatory environment and continuous improvement in educational services. This study emphasises the importance of adapting international standards to local educational contexts and religious values. The ISO 21001:2018 structure can be a strategic model for quality governance in other Islamic universities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the extent to which confiscation of cellphones during teaching and learning (KBM) affects the teaching and learning process at MAN 1 Jember. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative causal research type and collects data through questionnaires designed for subject teachers and homeroom teachers. The results of this correlation analysis show that there is a strong and significant relationship between the cellphone confiscation policy variable and the KBM orderly variable. These findings provide empirical evidence that the instruments used are valid and reliable in measuring the constructs studied. Based on the results of the t test, the calculated t value for the Orderly Learning Process variable is 7.714, with a significance value (Sig.) of less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the cellphone confiscation policy variable has a positive and significant influence on the creation of the teaching and learning process. This means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that the cellphone confiscation policy has an influence in creating an orderly KBM process.

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif di lembaga pendidikan merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan kesejahteraan staf serta tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi psikologi manajemen dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang ideal, dengan fokus pada interaksi antara faktor internal (kepemimpinan, komunikasi, budaya organisasi) dan eksternal (perubahan teknologi, sosial, ekonomi). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka, dengan data dikumpulkan dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, dokumen lembaga pendidikan, dan situs web terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip psikologi manajemen, seperti motivasi, komunikasi efektif, dan kepemimpinan transformasional, berperan signifikan dalam membentuk lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan suportif. Implementasinya tercermin dalam penyusunan kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran, bimbingan konseling, serta peningkatan motivasi peserta didik. Namun, tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kurangnya dukungan manajemen masih menjadi hambatan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian merekomendasikan pelatihan staf, pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia, dan pendekatan manajemen yang adaptif. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif di lembaga pendidikan.
