Abstract

Optimizing laboratory management is support safe and effective learning activities. In the Design and Machining Process Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, equipment operation has largely depended on verbal instructions from laboratory staff, increasing the potential for operational errors & workplace accidents. This commu nity service program aimed to develop digital equipment operating manuals integrated QR Codes to improve users' independence in laboratory activities. A participatory approach was employed through needs assessment, equipment inventory, manual develop ent based on technical references and occupational health and safety standards, integration into QR Code-linked digital flip books, dissem ination, and evaluation. The results demonstrate that the digital manuals can be accessed instantly by scanning QR Codes attached to each piece of equipment, enabling students to obtain operational guidance independently. This innovation enhances the effectiveness of laboratory practice, minimizes equipment misuse, and promotes a stronger occupational safety culture, making it a practical and sustainable model for laboratory management in higher education

Abstract

Digitalisasi Pengelolaan tiket di Pantai Nambo Kendari saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga memicu antrean panjang dan inefisiensi pencatatan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem e-ticketing berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan transparansi data kunjungan. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP) yang meliputi fase inception, elaboration, construction, dan transition. Dalam manajemen transaksi, diterapkan Algoritma Greedy untuk mengoptimalkan penyusunan laporan harian berdasarkan prioritas nilai pembayaran tertinggi. Hasil pengujian White Box menunjukkan nilai Cyclomatic Complexity , yang mengindikasikan struktur logika program sederhana, stabil, dan berisiko rendah. Selain itu, pengujian User Acceptance Testing (UAT) terhadap 30 responden menghasilkan tingkat kepuasan sebesar 90,24% dengan kategori "Sangat Setuju" pada aspek kemudahan navigasi serta kecepatan transaksi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi sistem e-ticketing dengan Algoritma Greedy berhasil memberikan solusi digital yang mempercepat akses informasi manajerial dan mempermudah layanan bagi pengunjung Pantai Nambo.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based academic information system for SMK Negeri 1 Loea, utilizing the waterfall system development methodology. The advancement of information technology is an undeniable aspect of this digital era. One of the widely utilized technological developments is web-based information systems. Currently, many schools have yet to harness the potential of this information system technology to assist students in accessing their academic information. Academic Information Systems have become crucial in the current digital age, especially in remote areas. The result of this research is the successful creation of a web-based academic information system, which has been tested for its functionality and proven to provide ease in data management and information dissemination to students, teachers, and users. By using this system, issues that occasionally arise can be minimized.

Abstract

The student data management system at SMP Negeri 4 Lambandia currently relies on conventional mechanisms through manual ledgers. The use of this manual system leads to operational hurdles, particularly regarding time efficiency in data retrieval and information management. As a solution, this research focuses on the development of a web-based information system to improve the efficiency of school data processing and distribution. By adopting the Waterfall model—which encompasses the phases of analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance—the resulting software has proven effective in overcoming data management challenges. The information integration offered by this system significantly facilitates faster and more accurate data search, management, and reporting processes.

Abstract

Increasing technological intelligence in elementary school children is a necessity in this digital era. Therefore, this research explores the application of programming visualization using the Scratch application as an innovative method in supporting programming learning for elementary school children. Through a visual programming block approach, Scratch provides a fun and intuitive learning experience, helping children to develop an understanding of basic programming concepts. This study involved a group of elementary school children as participants, and tracked the development of their understanding of programming logic and creativity through interactive activities in Scratch. The research results show that the application of Scratch significantly increases children's grasp of programming concepts, while stimulating their creativity.

Abstract

WebGIS (Web Geographic Information System) is a web-based geographic information system that allows users to access, display, and analyze spatial data interactively over the internet. This research aims to design and implement a WebGIS system that presents information on administrative areas, regional potential, and strategic infrastructure in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter 4 framework as the backend, along with Leaflet.js and GeoJSON for dynamic map visualization. The data used in this system includes district/city boundaries, capital city names, population, area, density, and spatial information related to resource potential and infrastructure facilities. Key features developed include region selection based on district/city name, satellite and road basemap displays, click coordinate determination, distance measurement, and area radius determination. The system also features a search panel, layer controls, and GeoJSON-based data visualization that can be customized to suit the needs of user agencies. Implementation results indicate that this WebGIS system is capable of displaying spatial information effectively, accurately, and interactively, and can be used as a supporting tool in the regional development planning process by agencies such as the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA). The system can also be further developed to include real-time data integration, a user login system, and advanced spatial analysis. Thus, this WebGIS development is expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of regional data management in Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

Proses reservasi lapangan di Tawang Alun Futsal Arena masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan pencatatan yang tidak teratur, double booking, keterlambatan konfirmasi, dan kurangnya transparansi ketersediaan jadwal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem reservasi lapangan olahraga berbasis web dengan mekanisme penjadwalan otomatis menggunakan algoritma Greedy Scheduling melalui pendekatan Earliest Finish Time First (EFTF). Pengembangan sistem menerapkan metode Waterfall yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem dibangun menggunakan framework Laravel, bahasa pemrograman PHP, dan basis data MySQL. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan melalui Black Box Testing, White Box Testing dengan teknik Basis Path Testing, pengujian ketepatan algoritma, serta User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh 12 skenario Black Box Testing berhasil dijalankan tanpa kesalahan fungsi. White Box Testing menghasilkan nilai Cyclomatic Complexity sebesar 4 dan seluruh jalur independen dapat dieksekusi dengan cakupan jalur 100%. Pengujian algoritma menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memilih tiga slot optimal dari lima permintaan yang saling bertumpang tindih dengan tingkat kesesuaian 100% terhadap perhitungan manual. Hasil UAT memperoleh nilai penerimaan sebesar 92,00% dengan kategori Sangat Layak. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mencegah konflik jadwal, mempercepat proses reservasi, meningkatkan akurasi pengelolaan data, dan mendukung operasional lapangan secara lebih efektif, terstruktur, serta mudah digunakan oleh pelanggan maupun administrator.
